  1. Binnot blinked, his mouth open slightly. He took a slight step back-ward, before he quickly reached beneath his long coat and pulled our both of Gella's lightsabers, igniting them. The bright purple light made Axel stagger back. Binnot swung the lightsabers forward, but Axel wasn't fast enough. One of them burned hard against his shoulder, and he cried out, falling to his knee with a splash. He lifted a pistol, but Binnot crashed one of the lightsabers down and the blaster fell to the floor, split in half. Axel ignored his pain and picked up a nearby chair, throwing it at Binnot, who batted it away with a lightsaber. It was just enough to allow Axel to scramble backward to put the table between him and Binnot.
  2. "You simpleton,"
  3. " Binnot yelled. "Never mind. We could have escaped this place, but looks like you'll die here along with your mother and that silly droid of yours."
  4. "Nice soliloquy," Gella said, moving forward. She twisted her wrists, making her lightsabers circle the air before her.
  5. "You want to fight,
  6. Binnot? Then let's fight."
  7. Binnot smiled, and brought the purple lightsabers crashing down and forward. She parried him easily, pushing him to the side. When he tried to hit her again, she twirled her blades against Binnot, whose wrist couldn't handle the torque. One of the purple blades went flying into the air, landing behind Axel. Binnot roared, thrusting his remaining lightsaber toward Gella, who brought hers down on his, forcing his arm down as she jumped in the air and kicked him hard in the chest. Binnot went flying back, dropping the other lightsaber and hitting the floor with a splash.
  8. Gella stood back in her fighting stance. Axel stood up, his hand clutching the burn wound on his shoulder.
