Violence and Persuasion (DitV/L&F hybrid) - Star Wars "One Canon" [3 sessions]

Setting: The galaxy is an inhospitable place, constantly plagued by star wars and "historical revisions" (lies and propaganda). The Jedi and Sith fight their religious disputes, while petty warlords and criminals feud with one another for power and wealth. In this never-ending sea of violence and mayhem, people still has to enforce justice somehow. And where the police and military fail, the bounty hunters step up - capturing or terminating the fugitives that threaten to undermine their clients' interests.

Game: "Violence and Persuasion" is a Lasers & Feelings hack that is heavily inspired by "Dogs in the Vineyard". Players are the legal authorities of a regime - whatever they decide is "legally" correct. During the course of play, players must resolve moral dilemmas and make ethical decisions...doing whatever it takes to ensure domestic stability and tranquility. The game is about dealing with the difficulties of decision-making in morally grey areas.

Additional Notes: This campaign will follow the "One Canon" timeline (https://boards.theforce.net/threads/the-one-canon.50033067/page-51#post-56673607), a project to merge Legends (the pre-Disney continuity) with Story Group Canon (the post-Disney continuity) into a single continuity. At the beginning of the campaign, players will create a "custom era" to play in and what planet their campaign will take place in.

The One Canon timeline can be boiled down to:
 - Old Republic works (both Legends and Canon)
 - The Prequel Trilogy
 - Imperial works (both Legends and Canon)
 - The Original Trilogy
 - Legends/Canon literature concerning the fall of the Galactic Empire (Palpatine attempted to take over the galaxy via his Dark Empire clones, but when that project failed, his spirit fled to Exegol where he plotted to regain power under the pseudonym of 'White Eyes' - causing and influencing various crises. He sought to destroy the Galactic Empire by activating the Contingency and using scorched-earth tactics, and while he caused mass destruction, Imperial warlords were able to survive and establish an "Imperial Remnant" that sued for peace with the Galactic Republic and had peaceful relations.)
 - Legends' post-OT literature (Han and Leia had four children, the first of whom is Ben Solo. After receiving a vision of Ben falling to the dark side, Han and Leia concealed him from the galaxy and kept him private, while publicly revealing three other children - Anakin Solo, Jacen Solo, and Jania Solo. However, each one of the other children failed the New  Republic in turn - Anakin died young, Jacen became a Sith Lord and was slain by Jania, and Jania reformed the "Imperial Remenant" into the Fel Empire...meaning that there is now more pressure on Ben Solo to succeed where they failed. There was an attempt to merge most of the galactic governments together into a single Galactic Alliance, but there was still tensions.)
 - Canon's post-OT literature (Ben Solo falls to the dark side, with the help of Snoke, and attacks the Republic. The Galactic Alliance splinters apart as Imperial hardliners from both the Fel Empire and the New Republic created the "First Order".)
 - The Sequel Trilogy (Palpatine puts his plan to take over the galaxy into action, and successfully destroyed the New Republic, but his plan ultimately failed - and this time, he has nowhere else to flee to, so he dies permanently. His successors, Darth Krayt and Darth Wyyrlok, decided to go into hiding and bide their time. The Galactic Alliance was re-established.)
 - Legend's Legacy comic book series (The Fel Empire makes its resurgence while the galaxy slowly rebuilds. Darth Krayt and Darth Wyyrlock takes advantage of this resurgence to make their move. When the two Sith Lords were defeated, the galaxy tried to unify under a new government - the Galactic Federation Triumvirate.)
