i thought i walked into a japanese restaraunt, but i walk in and behind the maître d' podium, is a dark pool of water. no biggie, just a water feature, right? no. i walk to the right, and its the same dark, murky pool. no tables and chairs, just half the room has floor, and then...water. i look to my right, and i see something that looks like The Grudge, but shades of swamp-green, just like the water, and with a malicious grin. then it starts /floating/ towards me, and somehow, a gun appears in my hand. i shoot a couple rounds at it, nothing happens. it floats over the water, then drops in slowly. next thing i see is a bubble of ooze rise out of the water, and form into the same...thing, but hollow-looking, like the bubble. shoot more rounds at it, nothing, starts floating towards me (about a foot off the surface, hovering), i start walking back, not taking my eyes off of it, and in the corner of my vision, i see another one of "them", crouched in a corner. at that point, i full on sprint to the door i came in through, and slam it closed behind me once i'm out of that godforsaken place.
