Semra sighs and says "Fine. I suppose I'll have to show you what I am capable of. Come on, I will lead you to the secret place where it's kept."
I do not follow and keep looking for one or two more offensive spell scrolls.
She gets annoyed and says "You are being rude. Come now."
I continue to search for scrolls and reply "Didn't I just refuse your offer."
"Your answer didn't matter."
"Well, I'm not going anywhere until I find the scrolls I need."
She starts to close the doors and says "You will either join me willingly or I will force you."
I telepathically message Kura "Come in, someone is causing me trouble."
I reply "I'd love you to try. The guards would be delighted."
Kura replies "I'm coming."
Semra says "Follow me."
I grab two random offensive scrolls and bring the to clerk as I wait for Kura. 1 revification scroll, area entangle and the 2 random offensive scrolls I didn't have time to read and ask the price from the clerk.
"250 gold, please."
I pay the fee and hear Kura entering through the door.
Semra is starting to lose patience with me which I keep ignoring.
Eventually, I start walking towards the door.
Semra stops me and says "Where are you going?"
I say "I am leaving." She really doesn't seem to like the undead aura of mine.
"I am too tired to argue."
I leave the store and walk outside.
Kura comes out and says "Let's go."
Semra shouts "What?! You're not getting away."
I tell telepathically to Kura "She's the one causing havoc. Try to ignore her and hopefully she leaves."
We continue walking the street and I turn my back to Semra. She grabs my shoulder and whispers into my ear "You are a necromancer and I am a priestess. You must die."
I reply "Do you want to take this out the city?"
"I wouldn't mind."
Kura says "I don't have the energy to fight her."
I reply "That's okay, I'll handle it." I slide the revification spell to Kura incase it comes to worst.
I say aloud "Semra, I accept your duel."
Semra is shocked and says "You can't beat me!"
I say "You leave me no choice, you have last chance leaving me alone. Do you still want to do this the hard way?"
She says "Fine. You win."
I turn around and face her. She casts a spell at me that hits me in the chest. It is a large burst of fire that burns. It must be radiant.
I yell "I thought we were to take this outside."
I cast Enemies Abound at her which may mess up her mind.
Semra yells "You fool! You can't stop me! You are a liar, you can't defeat me, you are a monster!"
While she's busy yelling I cast shatter on her. I relize we have got audience watching the fight.She screams in pain and casts a lightning blast at me.
I block it and take it in by casting Absorb Element which I redircet into her by biting her with my lizard jaws. Sparks discharge from the bite. Her skin becomes charred and then blackens. But she keeps screaming and throwing attacks.
I cast shield to block those and attempt to cast enemies abound again hoping the frightening effect works this time.
She casts fireball which seems ludicrous as it will hit her as well, I cast absorb elements to reduce the effect on me.
Semra tries to cast another spell but I cast shatter on her.
She shrieks in agony and falls down.
I stomp my foot on her chest and pull out my newly bought exquisite dagger.
The audience has gone completely silent after the fire blast.
I ask her "Give me a reason to keep you alive. You would kill me if you were in my position."
Semra laughs and says "I do not believe that you are able to kill me."
I pretend to laugh "Did you forget that you called me a monster?"
I grab better hold of the rondel dagger I just bought and stab her in the neck. She bleeds to death while choking on blood and gurgling sounds.
I swiftly take the money pouch in the same stroke attempting to hide it from the audience.
I take the bloody dagger and wipe it in her clothes before putting it in scabbard.
I take my hood and mask off showing my head that is mere skull down to neck and tell the audience "She did not respect what I am. I may look like a monster but that does not justify attacking me. Not all undead motives are evil. I was forced to this position, what I am is not a choice and the body I hold was long dead. I hope you enjoyed the show."
I stare at the audience that they can take a good look at me and my undead lizard skull.
I put the mask back on and hood up. I can hear metal armor clashing few blocks away as guards are approaching the opening.
The audience slowly disperses.
Guards yell "Stop right there, murderer!"
I look at Kura to message him telepathically "It's time for us to leave."
As soon as the guards enter I grab Kura and he wild shapes to a giant eagle.
The guards are confused and they see the unconscious body of Semra.
They raise their spears at both of us, Kura flies higher and higher.
I tell Kura "I sure made a show, that's an other city I'm not returning." and chuckle to Kura.
We fly a bit distance before we land on low plateau.
Kura lands and says "I've never seen anything like that."
I say "I am terribly sorry about that, she really gave me no other choice and likely would have haunted me until I was dead."
He replies "I'm glad you killed her."
I reply "I hope Semuanya knows where he's leading you if he insist taking me with you."
"Don't worry, he will." says Kura.
