- = FOR NORMAL 2v2 ===================================================================================================================
- 1. The first team to score 7 points wins. Sides are swapped after every 6 rounds played.
- 2. Both teams start on the heli spawn and use "ready" and "go" to start the round. Only after "go", the round is live.
- 3. TV Bugs restart the round. Nothing but a TV Bug can stop the round after "go". NOTHING.
- 4. Heatseekers and laser guided missiles are forbidden.
- 5. In the case of a 6-6, it is either a draw (in ladder and group stage matches) or overtime will start.
- Overtime starts with a 0-0 score. First team to score 3 points wins. Sides are swapped after 2 rounds.
- At an overtime score of 2-2, a new overtime set starts with 0-0. Sides are NOT swapped between overtime sets.
- 6. The first helicopter to get destroyed loses the round. If both helicopters get destroyed within 1 second, both teams get a point.
- This can lead to a 7-6 victory.
- 7. Teams have to decide who is gunning and who is flying before a match and cannot change that up during the match.
- 8. In elimination style tournaments, teams are asked to negotiate a map and mode for their match. If they both cannot agree on a mode and map, the default mode and map are normal 2v2 on Golmud Railway.
