Jumbo is just a clueless Dijnn one that can absorb a few blow and practices in the art of stuffing his face with food; he doesn't know about the problems of the world, and tires not to let them affect him. He's easily influenced by those around him making it easy for him to follow people so long as food is involved.

He doesn't do a lot of critical thinking, and mostly acts on instinct; He's used to taking a beating and can withstand most attacks from people. Jumbo was formed from that growing mass of void within the desert; it seems to form all kinds of creatures; long story short he's just a product of his environment.

Whether or not he becomes something serious is really unknown; the only thing Jumbo is looking for is food and entertainment.
