Super Alicorn God

They both traveled for several miles before Lord Beerus decided it was enough. He hit his opponent on the back with both his hands like a hammer, sending him to the ground, but the god wasn't finished with him yet. He intercepted him with a kick, sending him back to the sky, then he intercepted his flight with a punch that sent the ponified Saiyan diagonally toward the ground. Finally, he teleported to his opponent's destination and kicked his back again with both his legs, sending him deep into the sky, just to teleport again, grab the head of his foe with his right hand, and diagonally propel him toward the ground. From a distance, both fighters looked like an asteroid entering the planet's atmosphere.

"What's the matter, Super Saiyan God?" asked Beerus in a serious yet sarcastic tone, "Will you let yourself fall like this without reacting?"

Goku was trying to free himself from the god's hold but he couldn't, both because of the blows from earlier and the fact that it was difficult to grab things with hooves instead of hands. So, he couldn't properly grab Beerus' arm.

[Crystal Empire, Throne Room of the Crystal Palace]

Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, better known as Cadence, was doing her royal duties with a smile. She was coordinating the preparations for the Crystal Empire's Summer Sun Celebration. However, that smile was hiding her worry she has regarding the sky being split in half. Something must have happened to her aunties if both the Sun and the Moon were sharing the firmament. In order to calm her subjects, she told them that it was just a ritual. Most of them believed her, while others were still scared by the implications.

Once she was alone, she sighed. "At least I know that Twilight and her friends will solve whatever the problem is," she thought with a smile. Suddenly, she heard a weird noise in the distance. She went out to the balcony to see where that noise was coming from and noticed a spark moving in the sky. "A shooting star?" she wondered, but the answer came as fast as lightning. The 'shooting star' pierced a mountain in the distance from the city-state, making it explode. The explosion violently shook the ground and blinded Cadence for a moment. Once the explosion subsided, she looked to see what had happened, only to find her jaw dropping and her eyes widening. The entire mountain had disintegrated, with only the base of it left behind. “What in Equestria was that!” she thought.

[Frozen North, near the Crystal Empire]

Lord Beerus and Son Goku crashed onto the frozen landscape, creating a crater 950 meters wide and 90 meters deep. A few minutes later, the massive curtain of snow and dust dissipated, revealing the two fighters. The scarlet-maned Alicorn was laying on the ground with several wounds and bruises all over his body while the God of Destruction was in midair in a sitting position. He was waiting for the suffering Super Saiyan God to stand up and fight again.

Goku was breathing heavily as the pain was punishing his body. His opponent just dealt a massive blow that would have killed him if he hadn’t acquired the power of the Super Saiyan God. He just hoped to be healed by the form and to keep on fighting. However, he was scared that, most likely, Beerus wouldn't have allowed him the chance to do so.

"Huh? already tired?" asked the God as he was almost reclining in the air, "Come on, let's resume our fight!"

The white stallion tried to stand up as the aura of his divine form began to heal his wounds. The God of Destruction noticed this and smiled as he switched to a standing position. Once Goku stood up, he said, "I won't be defeated so easily, not this time."

"I'm glad to hear that," replied Beerus, "I didn't wait six months just for a warming up."

"Six months? What are you talking about?"

"Oh right, you don't know anything about this place. You see, we are currently in a Pocket Dimension: a place separated from the Universe's main macrocosm where time flows differently."

"I don't understand anything."

"*Sigh* Mortals..." whispered the purple cat, then he said, "Let's pretend that the Universe is a big house. The living room is the main space while the other rooms are secondary spaces. We are in one of those secondary spaces."

"That doesn't explain the six months thing."

"In some rooms of the house, time is faster or slower than that of the living room."

Goku's eyes widened, "You mean like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"

"Excuse me?"

"It is... or was a room located in the Guardian of Earth's Lookout. One year in that chamber was equal to one day on Earth."

"Exactly, we are in a place where time is slower than ours, just like Earth's compared with that of that time chamber. That's the reason why I waited six months, while here, not even a day has gone yet."

Goku frowned and asked, "How did you find me?"

"Whis already knew where you ended up after our previous battle," he answered and added, "But enough talking. Let's battle."

After those words were spoken, the alicorn got into his fighting stance as the blazing aura of the Super Saiyan God completely healed him.
