- Goku's eyes opened wide at this. Celestia and Luna had disappeared? Maybe he could help find them by sensing their Ki. Twilight told him that Luna was Celestia's little sister, so her Ki had to be similar to her big sister's. The day before, when he met the Sun Princess at the infirmary, he sensed a very strong Ki within her. It was somehow similar to Beerus's but was far weaker than the Hakaishin's, so it wouldn't be so difficult to sense.
- [...]
- Goku didn't answer right away: he was focusing on a familiar Ki he just sensed, trying to locate its exact position. It was weak so it was a bit difficult at first, but, after a few seconds, he finally located the source of that energy.
- "Guys," started the Saiyan opening his eyes, "I think I've found Celestia."
- Everyone's eyes opened wide at this, as countless questions were storming in the heads of everyone. Twilight and Spike didn’t share the same confusion as the others since they already knew about Goku's ability to sense Ki.
- “How in tarnation did you find her!?” Applejack asked loudly.
- “More importantly, how in Equestria did she end up in the Everfree?” Rarity joined in.
- “Is that another super duper cool trick of yours?” Pinkie eagerly asked.
- “Is she alright?” Fluttershy said worriedly.
- “Girls! Girls! Calm down, one after ano-” Goku couldn’t finish his sentence as he was interrupted by Twilight.
- After getting over her shock on her mentor's discovery, she didn't waste time and, as fast as lightning, she approached the white alicorn and grabbed onto his shoulders, "Where is she?!" she asked in trepidancy.
- "I'll teleport everyone there to make things quicker. You and Spike already know the drill," he answered with a calm and serious expression. Celestia's Ki was weak and that could have meant two things: either she was seriously wounded or she was suppressing her Ki. But the latter was very unlikely, so she needed help as soon as possible.
- Spike and Twilight proceeded to place their claws and hoof on him. Pinkie Pie happily complied, but the others were a bit doubtful about it. "What are you waiting for?" asked Twilight.
- "Uh, I don't know, Twilight. I've seen the side-effects of a teleportation spell on Spike," Rainbow answered, remembering a roasted baby dragon appearing from nowhere, back when the former unicorn was escaping from the crowd that wanted her to give them an extra ticket for the Grand Galloping Gala.
- "Exactly. I'm really surprised he isn't trying to escape or at least suggesting something else to avoid it," replied the Fashionista, remembering that it could also cause sickness.
- "Talking about spells, didn't you say that you only know how to levitate things?" added Rainbow, talking with Goku.
- "This is not a spell, girls, it's a technique," he answered, "How do you think me, Twilight and Spike managed to appear right in front of you all, earlier?"
- "And the best thing of that technique is that it doesn't cause burns or sickness," supported Spike, "Thanks to him and his teleportation, we managed to finish Canterlot's preparations for the festivities early."
- "Well, I say that we give it a try," said Applejack while she was doing the same thing like Twilight, Spike and Pinkie.
- Rainbow and Rarity looked up at each other doubtfully but in the end, they proceeded to lay their hooves on Goku. Fluttershy was the last one. It wasn't like she didn't trust Spike or Goku, but she was scared to be a victim of those afflictions. She heard what Spike just said, but what if Goku's teleportation caused one of those undesirable effects this time?
- "Come on, Fluttershy," encouraged Pinkie with her bright smile, "Spike just said it's safe!"
- "O-Okay," she replied hesitantly while approaching the group. She was about to touch Goku but she hesitated, still scared of the side-effects that teleportation could cause. Why couldn't they just run to wherever Celestia was?
- For some reason, her gaze met Goku's, almost if she wanted some guarantee that everything would be alright and, as if to answer, the Saiyan just smiled at her. She didn't know why but that smile gave her a feeling of security, the same feeling she felt when she was with her pets and animals. So, without a second thought, she touched the white alicorn.
- Once everyone was ready, Goku closed his eyes and they all disappeared.
- [...]
- "Well, at least we've found the Tree," commented Applejack, "But where are the Princesses?"
- "She's right there," answered Goku as he pointed a chrysalis made of roots to the right of the dying plant. Twilight didn't waste time and tried to reach Celestia's prison and free her, but the black vines didn't agree with her plans and attacked her. She stopped when she saw the charging roots but, suddenly, a blast destroyed them all. She turned her head and saw the white Alicorn approaching her. "Those vines look like they’re even more aggressive than those in Ponyville," he stated in a serious tone and suggested, "Be careful."
- "Thanks, Goku."
- "I can sense another presence here. It is similar to Celestia's."
- The Element of Magic gasped and said, "It must be Princess Luna's!"
- "I bet she is in the other chrysalis," he said, looking at the mass of roots to the left of the tree, as the rest of the group approached them.
