  1. >To whoever told you that the world of fantasy and ponies was paradise.
  2. >They're a fucking liar.
  3. >You gave a shuddering sigh as you walked further and further into the forest with your hand in your pocket. Trying your best to keep warm while leaves crunched at your feet.
  4. >Your chest felt heavy as your mind swam in thought.
  5. >You gave it a shot, you really did.
  6. >But you're not special.
  7. >Everything is better than you.
  8. >In this world, you're a splotch of grey paint that plagued a colorful art piece.
  9. >Well into the White Tail woods, you let yourself fall against a tree, sliding onto the ground.
  10. >Nobody wanted anything to do with you.
  11. >You're just a nobody.
  12. >One who eventually turned into a pest. As you tried your hardest to integrate with the ponies, which only made them come to annoy you.
  13. >Their blank looks of indifference turning to ones of frustration and anger as they pushed you away.
  14. >Being here for nearly three months, you had stopped your efforts long ago, not that it helped quell the hateful stares.
  15. >Reaching into to the pocket of your ragged, grease-stained dress shirt, you pulled out a pocket-knife.
  16. >Special efforts had to be made get it ponies, while hateful, did not trust you to be alone with their belongings, as for the first few weeks you had to resort to stealing food and supplies to survive.
  17. >You weren't a good thief and were caught quickly.
  18. >Giving those who disliked you even more reason to hate and distrust you.
  19. >Now you made do with whatever was in the woods. Eating various mushrooms, herbs, and grubs.
  20. >Hoping to god they wouldn't kill you.
  21. >How ironic it would be to think that way now.
  22. >Looking at the red-handled knife, you took your time analyzing it.
  23. >Feeling the cold blade and it's red handle, You tried to distract yourself from the thought of the past.
  24. >With weight on your chest, you took a deep breath as you looked out at the grey forest.
  25. >All the trees were barren for the upcoming winter.
  26. >You gave a brief smile as the reminiscing of the winters back home gave you slight comfort.
  27. >You'd never get back there.
  28. >You're isolated here.
  29. >All your dreams and aspirations you had were gone. Forever impossible. All your work, for nothing.
  30. >And as much as you thought you loved this world. You overlooked the detail that you'd be starting out with a blank slate.
  31. >Nobody knows you, and no matter how much you watched the show you knew nobody.
  32. >At least not sincerely.
  33. >You had to expect it.
  34. >It was a kid's show, and it was apparent they'd depict the main characters at their best for the kiddies.
  35. >For Christian and Family values and all that sappy shit.
  36. >No matter how warm, friendly and inviting it might seem.
  37. >It's been anything but.
  38. >You had your ups and downs back home, you always had somebody to turn to.
  39. >While here you have nobody.
  40. >Looking at the standard blade once more, you gave a hard gulp and ground your teeth as worked up the courage to take the leap.
  41. "Come on....stop being a pussy."
  42. >God, you wished for a more comfortable way out.
  43. >But this was the only way out that came to your fractured mind.
  44. >You had no idea on how to tie a noose, you'd no way in hell be able to get narcotics from the hospital, and drowning seemed more painful albeit quicker.
  45. >This way seemed to be the best way out.
  46. >From what you heard, it starts out slowly. You might feel panicked at what you had done, but ultimately you'd fade away slowly.
  47. >Looking out into the wood, with your breath appearing in front of your face, you made sure no one was around. The barren trees making it easier to spot anyone around.
