Today, everyone already knows who Drake and Rihanna are, but do you know that they have been in a relationship several times, and they can't seem to break it off completely? For those who are not fully aware of their relationship, the two of them sort off dated back in 2010, and then around 2013, after which they broke up and did not stay at the bet terms.
Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, and we all know and love him by his stage name Drake. He is a Canadian songwriter, rapper, actor, signer and record producer. However, Drake's music career is not where he got recognized, as he was also known as an actor in a famous teen drama series called Degrassi: The Next Generation, which was aired in the early 2000s. He always knew that acting is not something that he wants to do full-time, which is why in 2007 he decided to leave the set and pursue his music career.
In 2007, Drake released his first debut mix tape called the Room for Improvement. After that he released two independent projects as well, So Far Gone and Comeback Season, before he was seen singing to Young Money Entertainment on June 2009, which is actually a Lil Wayne's song. This is where everything started going well for him, since in 2010 he released his album Thank Me Later, which debuted as the number one in the US Billboard 200, and not long after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified it as a platinum album.
There are a lot of rumors that Drake and Rihanna first got together in May 2009, at a bowling alley in NY, called the Lucky strike. This is known as the very first time they got together, and you can hear some details about the event in his song 'Fireworks'. However, this rumor was forgotten after Rihanna stated in an interview that they are just friends on November the same year. However, that subject came back again in 2010, after Drake admitted in an interview that they were 'kind of' dating.
Just when the public thought that's it, in 2011 they were seen performing together, and the performance was...well... quite heated! After that, you can see a music video called 'Take Care', where Rihanna and Drake appear together and make things even steamier. However, on May 2012, Drake released a song called '2 Chainz's 'No Lie' where there is a line that sounds like he is dissing Rihanna.
We all know the incident with Rihanna and Christ Brown, and after they saw each other on June 2012, Drake was seeing clashing with Chris Brown. The following year, Rihanna is seeing subtly dissing Drake, which was a confusion later in 2014 when Drake decided to serenade her. After loads of steamy sessions in 2015, in 2016 Drake has officially confessed his love for Rihanna on a stage, which made a viral video!
