| PERSONALITY :
Seohyun is an extremely timid and quiet girl that is constantly worried about what people think of her and is constantly looking for acceptance with others which she finds hard because of the cold, uncaring facade she puts up in attempt to protect herself.
Hence, Seohyun is known to be quite serious and sometimes subtly fierce when it comes to talking to someone she doesn't trust or like.
Because of her background, Seohyun is also very skeptical about others, afraid that that person would end up hurting her. Hence, it is very hard to get Seohyun to open up to someone.
However, behind this cold facade of hers, Seohyun is actually really soft and if someone manages to make her smile, which is quite rare, it will brighten up the whole room.
When someone is able to get her to open up, she also starts to smile more often and shows her soft and caring side more prominently.
Even though she still stays pretty quiet and shy after opening up to someone, Seohyun will trust the other party much more, smiling and talking to that person more than with others and will also start being very protective over that person because of how she doesn't want to lose someone that she cherishes.
She is also very innocent and never understands anything dirty, getting extremely curious when others start talking about it, especially because of how no one wants to defile her because of how pure and cute she looks.

| BACKGROUND :
Seohyun was born in Bucheon, to a family that was constantly neglecting her as a child. Her father was always out working and even though her mother was a housewife, she never really cared about Seohyun, always quarrelling with Seohyun's father about how much he had neglected her for his job.
Soon, Seohyun's mother forced a divorce upon Seohyun's father when Seohyun had yet to understand the meaning of words and right after the divorce, got married with another man. This broke Seohyun's father and caused him to go into a state of depression, looking to drinking and smoking to relieve himself from his pain.
Because of this, Seohyun's father lost his job not long after, using the money he had saved to bring up Seohyun and keep them from dying of starvation. Thankfully, Seohyun's father had a heart for his daughter and did not abuse her at all, trying his best to give her what she needed as a growing child but his ability to do so was limited as he was unable to drag himself out of his depression. This is also the reason as to why Seohyun treasures her father very much and tries her best to support him too.
Because of this, Seohyun started working at a young age, washing dishes and peeling vegetables at family restaurants when she was 7 and becoming a part-time chef and waitress at multiple cafés and restaurants when she got older.
Even though many adults pitied her and always tried their best to help her out whenever they could, the children at Seohyun's kindergarten could not understand her situation yet and treated her like dirt and an outcast because of how she had no mother, went home on her own, had no one going to support her at family events in school and also how she always smelt "weird", from all the odd jobs she did.
This bullying ended quickly though, once Seohyun went up to Middle School where everyone understood family issues better and had more sympathy, allowing Seohyun to make many acquaintances and a few close friends. However, the mild bullying she got in Kindergarten was enough to cause her to become the timid girl that she has become.

Seohyun is initially very shy with him but respects him nonetheless because she knew that he had no bad intentions and was sincere.
Later when she opens up a lot more to him, Seohyun starts to trust him much more than normal people and smiles much more when around him because of how she loves his sense of humour. She is also much softer with him and is much more vocal too. Seohyun also shows her true emotions to her love interest, something she doesn't do with anyone because of how much she trusts him and sees him as a saviour of some sorts to her, trying to act as a listening ear for him when he needs it too.
