Today interview is with controversy player Secret Melody aka Valkyra, leader of communities in Denmark, Greenland and Canada, ex MoFA of Croatia... Many don't like her because of her game style...

- Tell us something about yourself (ingame)?
Nowadays I am just 2clicker, since I have too many issues RL and my motivation for this game went when I saw some actions that I didn't like. I am focused now in production and stocking till one day I decide to be back. Right now I am playing for Croatia, the country that always treated me good, and I just came after some months playing for Canada. Rusty D invited me there, but after his leaving, I decided to leave the country. However, my friends are still there and I will fight for Canada always they request any help.

- Who is Secret Melody in RL?
My RL name is Laura, I am living in Spain, and I was adopted when I was very young. Most of people know this, but in case someone doesn't... I was born in South Korea, so I look asian. Right now I am working as teacher in a highschool and studying hard. I'm teacher in a highscool and I'm studying a master right now. My age wasn't never said, but I'm between 24 and 28. Lets make as in the movie Saving Private Ryan with the Captain John H. Miller, once we get a common pot, I say my age hahaha.

About pictures, thanks but I prefer not to. Once I did long ago in other game and I had to change even my phone number. I prefer to not take the same risks. Some players already saw me in pictures or even videocall that I did.

- What is story about nick? Is it some song or? Why is in discord nick Valkyrja?
In other game I had other nick... here I changed it sometimes... I was Pocahontas before, but I decided to change it thanks to a Two Steps From Hell song, called Secret Melody. I was going to change it once, or I even changed it just for a battle, but after all, I stayed with this nick. About Valkyrja it's just because I love all the Viking Theme...

- What is most fun thing you did in edomi?
When I was playing a spy role it was fun. Since I was getting information from different HQs and I was helping other countries. The adrenaline of not getting catch made me to be very very interested in connecting and doing my work correctly. I felt it as in a good spy movie.

- You were playing in Denmark, Croatia, Canada... Where did you like the most?
I played for many countries, that is true. I like changing countries and meeting new people. I did this in different similar games too. Meeting new people make you to enjoy more the game and have friends all around the eWorld. Well, each country gives you something special.

Croatia gave me a family that supported me even when I was in other places. Canada made me meet cool people who were even more family when Rusty left. Greenland gave me a project where I spent too much efforts, as Denmark. I could say that maybe Croatia was the best place where I was.

- Why you come and leave Croatia every few months? What is so special that pull you there?
I came to Croatia after leaving Germany and Russia. I was invited by Nebra to Croatia long ago and this country received me as another member, no discrimination, and counting on me for everything. I felt fastly as a member of the family. Once CrOmega, always CrOmega. I left for making my Danish and Greenland project, however, I always helped Croatia in their wars, even for no golds or medals, and always will do.

- How do you compare communities of all that countries?
I kind of answered this in the last answer. Croatian community changed a lot since I was. When I left Croatia, I was MoFA. I made very cool friends there, and after months I saw many of them moved to Iran, or Germany, or even Romania. This changes are always good.

- You were also in HQ of alliance... How did you like there?
Being in HQ may be cool, since it give you extra work in game and you have new and different experiences. You also have the opportunity to be with experienced players who can teach you very nice things in terms of strategy. The experience is recommended. But these moments belong to the past to me.

- What happened in Canada? After loosing recent war with Sweden like everybody left Canada, Rusty is gone, you left to Croatia...
Canada got some activity and a true brotherhood. All us helping each other and it was a very nice experience. Something to experience, for sure. I really enjoyed.

Related to Rusty, here comes a lot of real life issues that I am not able to tell here, since they are related to his life and his real problems. Some of us left searching a new experience for trying to stay in the game. The inactivity was killing us.

- How was things between you and Rusty? At start he talked bad about you and then you played together in Canada...
Well, I met him long ago in other similar game, we were in the same country and I was Head of Congress in Ireland. In this game, we were enemies, since he was eIrish and I was from Greenland, fighting for our freedom against them. After some time, he left the country with VISA and moved to Canada. They invited me and I accepted. We started a very very nice friendship and became close friends. He is a great person who deserves the best. After some time, we didn't talk about game, but just real life. From here, I would love to wish him the very best in life... he is great.

- There was some misunderstanding in your Danish colony. Mentions of gold stealing have been going around at the time. Can you explain what happened in your point of view?
Yes, Thylen believed it for months, or even years. We all did donations to Danish Country Treasure. The goal was to have gold for signing MPPs and making some projects for helping to all the citizens. When Denmark was done, because most of our players left the country, I decided to contact Admin for asking him if it would be possible to take our golds from Country Treasure and donating the golds to the players who were in Denmark, according to their actions and time. That way, I just gave away to Danish citizens and those who were leaving their part. I took nothing for me. However, some players like Thylen didn't know that and thought that I took everything for me.

- What was that about Greenland? Ireland officials say you broke the rental deal and refused to return payed sum...
Greenland - Ireland problem will never be solved nor fixed. Greenland signed with Ireland a rental agreement, with many points on it. Well, everything was good till here. Problem came when WHS (Irish Minister) started to insult me in ALL CHAT. After some warnings, he kept doing it, and I decided to... take actions against him, for all his words against me and against my community.

As this game doesn't allow us to go against one single player, what I did, after talking with all my HQ, was to not follow the rental agreement and all the points signed (as cooperation between nations) because they started verbal aggressions. As we attacked them, they just saw that we didn't respect it, saying that verbal aggression is not a strong point for breaking the total deal, even if I warned them several times.

With the war, I just organized our forces and allies and we started our path for freedom, getting it fully. We liberated our regions when we wanted. After the war, which they defended hardly, they wanted the compensation for breaking the deal, which we didn't pay since they were the first ones breaking some of the points of the agreement.

- Why your community projects (Greenland and Denmark) are abandoned, and how so your countries are never accepted in alliance?
Well, Greenland was part of an alliance with Canada and USA. Denmark tried to be but we were rejected because of number of players. However, even when we weren't official members of one side, we cooperated with them, our contact was permanent and we were working together.

- What can you tell about your times as mercenary in Jäger?
I loved those moments. I would be back to Mercenary MU as it was when I was in... I very liked the idea and I would do it for every single mercenary MU that comes into the game.
I was in HQ when I was in eGermany and in Denmark. Denmark was in a cool strategy position and both sides wanted us in their side. Mostly because we had ChrisGeoRM and friends in Denmark... Being officially or not officially, in term of information, I was always inside HQ, and not from only one side. Many times, my alliance knew information from enemy HQ that was "secret" thanks to some contacts. Cool game and spiced all this.

- Komita say that he is still waiting for your pictures...
Komita will get my pictures when he publicaly says Kosovo is Kosovo, not Serbia. Naah, kidding. With Komita I have nothing to talk. We are different characters and nothing in common.

- You recently announced that you stop playing... why was that?
I stop playing because I have no time and administration actions are difficult to understand. As I don't like what he is doing, I prefer not to participate too much in his project. Nowadays I am working in the mornings and studying hard in afternoons and nights.

- Many players dislike you and say bad things about you, that you lie and cannot be trusted, why do you think is so?
Well, they prefer a beautiful lie than a painful truth... I have too much valors and character and I am difficult to deal with. But at least I got what I wanted... that people  talk about me. They can keep with critics and tears... I really don't mind.

- Which player you likes most in game and which you don't like?
First, I would like to say that I may hate "players", but never the people behind the screen. As said, I hate those who mix RL and game. I understand, and even want, that Secret Melody be hated, but in real life nobody hates me, I'm very liked by people who know me in my day by day.

After this was explained, the players that I could never have a good friendship could be Winston Hope Smith, Calvin and Bardia... Even if Winston Hope Smith was one of my best friend in other game, here everything exploded when I moved to Greenland and we didn't let Ireland to rule us.

The players I like the most, there is no one. Even being hated that much by my enemy side, and sometimes by my own side, I like many players. Nebra, Rusty, N4zgul, Primo The Great, Vaggel, ChrisGeoRM, illyrian king, khylee, AlphaMF... too many that were with me and supported me in the correct moments, even when I didn't start good with some of them, like Rusty. As you can see, I have relation with different sides. I will have to work better in being hated :smirk:

- What do you don't like in (some) other players?
When they mix RL and game. People always try to use RL things against you for game stuff...

Once, when I tested positive in COVID-19, one player from eDominations laughed in ALL CHAT about it, about me being ill with COVID... just because we were in war on this game.

Sometimes I trusted people in eDominations and we talked in Discord about RL stuff, like related with love, economy, dreams, travels, whatever... and later on they used it against me just for game issues. One thing is Secret Melody, a warrior who always wants debate and war... and another one is Laura. Impossible to compare.

- I see you held many giveaways...
The giveaways I did were just for helping new players. Most of them wrote me months later thanking.
When you help, don't look to who you do, just do it. It's important how people will remember you at the end.

- Tell me how is your character in game alike you in RL? I hear you also like to travel in RL...
Secret Melody is totally different to Laura. We both like travelling, yes, maybe the only thing in common. In RL I just visited Spain, Portugal, Andorra, France and Germany. Due to some healthy issues, I am not allowed to travel too much right now, and also COVID doesn't help. In game I am way more aggressive than in real life. In eDom I always search for problems, while in RL life, I avoid them.

- How much time you spend here? Be honest...
Being totally honest, right now, I spend around 5-10 minutes per day. In the best moments, when I was with Greenland's project, or with Danish project, maybe I was spending like 6 hours a day. Too much.

- What do you think needs to be changed in this game? What would you like?
Before I used to make a list to admin with some changes I proposed... however, they are that busy that not even answer back the tickets, and if you write them again, they mute me for "spamming".

For that reason I decided to stop suggesting changes. I would like to motivate Politic Module... in other similar games we can have like 5-6 candidates for Party President Elections, and maybe 3-4 candidates for leading a country... here we are lucky if we have 2 candidates for party president elections. Also the economy needs a change. Everybody produces Q5 airs, everybody has some hundred or thousands golds... I don't know, some kind of limitations could be nice.
