- Jump #432: Jack T Chick Tract
- >Queen of Cups, reversed: Discomfort with the worlds of mind and matter, leading to a retreat to the spiritual. The embrace of negative relationships, driven by the desperate fear of being alone.
- >Location: Church
- Jesus H Christ in a taxicab I feel like I'm back in the church scene from Kingsman!
- >Identity: Drop-In
- I will NOT be a local here. My soul's so weird that the local demiurge would probably throw it back on principle alone.
- >How Is It With Your Soul (900, Drop-In)
- Very weird. I mean, it's approaching the size of North America at this point, though its growth is really quite erratic. Quite a population there now, too, though it seems sort of like it is its own afterlife? Which makes things super weird if there's a murder and the person's already dead, because it just doesn't stick.
- >Lazarus, Come Forth (750, Drop-In)
- Bah, sometimes you want to skip the magic and just wiggle your fingers and go 'stop being dead'.
- >Rez Pls (500, Drop-In)
- Stage 432-1, nine lives remaining.
- >Book of Life (450, Drop-In)
- Okay, not gonna lie, this is one of the more useful things I'm seeing here. Entries for everyone in the world, if I'm patient enough to sort through the book, and everything that you might expect.
- >Angelic Scissors (300, Drop-In)
- For when you feel like shredding one of those sell-your-soul contracts.
- >King James Bible (0)
- I'm wishing I had this book way before now. Not only is this an accurate guide to the local demiurge's teachings, the history of the religion and the right and wrong things to do, but I'll get a book in every jump from here on out with EVERY deity's teachings. Handy is the understatement of the decade.
- So, this... well, it's kind of a weird jump, I'm not gonna lie. Well, less a weird jump, more a very weird world. I was really quite tempted to go for more, but... a world with a God like this in charge? I don't think it's actually SAFE for that. Also, he'd probably kinda judge me pretty harshly for that whole Remina thing, even if that universe was basically completely screwed to start with.
- Really, my stay here was largely uneventful. I did dabble in the sciences and scientifically prove God, but my lab was struck by lightning immediately afterward so that was pointless. Apparently faith isn't faith if it isn't taken on faith, and proving it scientifically completely misses the entire point. I mean, the message was sent effectively, and I just sort of shrugged my shoulders and went 'well, if you WANT to make sure people don't go to heaven' at the sky. Lightning struck again not too far from me and I simply glared.
- Guess some folks just don't like meddling outsiders.
