- In the end, they decided to face Knight against Pyrrha – a fair enough competition, or so they assumed.
- Pyrrha's dazed expression when she was disarmed and defeated three seconds into the match suggested otherwise. They then tried Pyrrha and Yang against Knight to the same effect, then Miss Goodwitch gave up and had all of Team RWBY fight him at once.
- Calling it one-sided would have been an insult to him.
