Reasoning: After a long amount of time spent working within the Stratus Guard, Salt has risen to the ranks of Paladin through his efforts of protecting both the city and its people. With their city decimated and the forces of their opposition acquiring even greater strength, he seeks out a proper arsenal to add to his swordsmanship. As is customary of those who obtain the Paladin rank, and whom show promise to Acai Stratus, Salt is chosen to become a heir to the power of 'Hamon'. He undergoes grueling training in accompaniment with Orokin, though he shows a bit more promise in terms of their immediate progress. A natural adaption to the training regiments is shown, though Salt soon realizes his shortcomings and seeks to work upon them, after guidance from Acai.

 With an abundance of training being completed, he seeks to expand upon his weak points, and aim to soon wield the power of the sun itself to pursue those that hide within the shadows.
