+cabadejo __ A *genuinely* intelligent person wishing to have his lies believed would know to *never* tell the truth where possible and to *always* present the truth in the same form of a lie where unavoidable.

Such people introduce their own "mini lie systems" and we have observed many of these people on YouTube (most of the "truther channels" can be thought of as operating a "mini-lie system").

I would suggest that these people fall into the category of "compulsive liars" and not "psychopaths" and I don't think they are cognisant of what they're doing or how/why what they're doing works.

They are *successful liars* because they are *naturally charming* and "naturally lucky" so to speak. They have a "knack" for lying because people enjoy listening to them but don't really know why it is they get away with their lies (given that it's a consequence of their personality).

I don't think anyone has said: *"If you ONLY tell lies where possible AND IF you ONLY present the truth in the same form of a lie when necessary THEN you can make your audience/friends believe ANYTHING you want"* etc.

And that's the essence of the magic trick.

Because IF it were widely known then the lie system would be rendered ineffective *because everyone would easily perceive what's happening*!

You must yourself realise that the absence of sufficient proof is the most obvious thing in the world. You can't help but notice it. Yet there was a time when you didn't notice it was missing. And you have tried to enlighten other people and found your words fell on blind eyes. You were pointing out something obvious - something right in front of them - but even still - people can't see it.

It's only once you're aware of it that it becomes obvious. And then it seems like common knowledge. Then it seems like everyone must know it (or more must know it). It's like being able to play the piano well - you can be surprised that there are people who have never touched a piano in their life.

What has become natural and obvious to you - now seems like something others must also know about. But it's only because it has become natural and obvious to you after the fact!

So where you say there are people doing this on a small/individual scale - *I agree*. But I don't think they are cognisant of what they're doing. Not really. There may be some dim awareness - but not really. Not to the extent of the magic trick being done by the lie system.

Such people are enacting a mini-lie system as a consequence of their personality only. Not as the result of intelligent thought.

The instant (enough) people catch on that sufficient proof is not just absent *but intentionally so* - that's when genuine and meaningful change can occur. This has not yet happened and so I cannot accept it is "widely known" (beyond accidental "mini-lie systems"). Because if it were widely known - there could be no successful lie system!
