  1. [16:12] The days continued to pass, and little progress was made in the direction of the great dreams which sat ever present on the mind of the demon. With such a crowd of powerful magi and artisans assembled, biding their time lazily, a strange match had been struck within the infernus.
  2.
  3. Passion: a need for action.
  4.
  5. Alazauq rose its hand with a snap.
  6.
  7. "I am in need of rune writers and enchanters, along with any sort of, keh.. surgeon. As many as can flock to my side."
  8. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [16:16] Ra'Kamel didn't quite understand entropy quite well not as much as it saw through Ipos' vision although the Kaor had always made its services available all the Archon had to do was ask of it.
  12.
  13. "Hm I am a scribe and enchanter I can aid you in whatever it is you are in need of. Perhaps a weapon or Armor enchant? " The Kaor watched the archon wondering what sort of thing they would require of it. After all it had helped Ipos with many things Entropy was not exempt from its aid in anyway.
  14. (Ra'Kamel)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [16:16] Marceline's biggest weakness was how vulnerable and frail her body was, able to be taken down with a few well placed hits. But at the same time, she was able to dish out enough damage to compensate for this lack of fortitude, at least against people who were on her level.
  18.
  19. It created a battle that was incredibly quick, decided in less than thirty seconds at most. Rapid shifts in temperature from plasma and ice created combustion, a sort of explosion magic that was able to blast through Taiga's defenses. Having already taken abuse from Taiga's sword strikes, this left them both on their last legs. Or wings, in Marceline's case.
  20.
  21. The final clash had them both hit the ground, although Taiga was able to recuperate from his loss just a second before Marceline pushed herself up off of the ground. The fae wiped some sparkly sweat from her brow, her wings twitching as she shakily ascended from the grass.
  22.
  23. "Dang it. I was so close to winning, too." she griped. That was the nature of a tie, neither of them could be satisfied with a victory.
  24. (Marceline)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [16:17] Taiga Megumi says, "A quick tiebreaker."
  28. [16:17] Taiga Megumi says, "I don't want... to hold the stage for too long."
  29. [16:18] "Far beyond something so mundane," spoke the demon. It seemed there was no turning back now, so its telepathy would spill out in its regal manner before the great crowd.
  30.
  31. "I am to attempt to destroy the chains which the divines have placed upon my soul: the barrier on the cortex of the Archon which forbids further growth. I have in my possession all tools necessary."
  32.
  33. It turned back with arms splayed outward, as if to mimic some messianic figure.
  34.
  35. "All that is left is for the procedure itself- and for that, I am in need of a great many talented enchanters to receive my instruction. Perhaps, mm.. the aid of my closest as well."
  36. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [16:23] The Kaor was no doubt confused about what the Archon was speaking about to break the chains on their soul? What sort of method could be introduced for that...What would the end result be? There was so many questions floating around the Kaors mind but instead it merely nodded.
  40.
  41. " If I can be of service to aid with that I will do so. I've began to study the barrier of the soul myself actually. I'm interested in mastering Death Magic, and moving passed the boarders of this world. Through Riftmancy. I have an extensive knowledge of runes and I am at your service to not only learn but to experiment on my own projects as well. I'm quite interested to see what this ritual will comprise of. "
  42.
  43. With that said the Kaor moved towards the Archon's side wondering if any other runescribes were available to be of Entropys service. " Where do we begin?"
  44. (Ra'Kamel)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [16:23] Taiga sheathes his blade triumphantly, already starting to move back towards the camp as the last blow of the battle was dealt. He huffs in content, proud to have had a solid victory over Marceline after years of trying to defeat her.
  48.
  49. "...Thank you, Marceline. It was great practice."
  50. (Taiga Megumi)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [16:24] Lugonqi stares at Neo and Ipos.
  54. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [16:31] There was some kind of trick that Taiga used, that allowed him to deal an inhuman combination of sword strikes, one after the other. "He's so fast.. it's like he's stopping time.." the fae muttered under her breath as she shakily rose to stand, before she made a revelation.
  58.
  59. That was it, it must have been time. Taiga appearing in places that he shouldn't have, skipping from position to position. In one moment he had made a strike, and in the next moment he was rearing up for the next. A skip, with no observable rhythm.
  60.
  61. "If I learned how to do that.. then I'd definitely win." she plotted, flying back towards the camp.
  62. (Marceline)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [16:33] Lugonqi Alazauq says, "Come."
  66. [16:40] In the end, there were few left to aid. A vague sense of betrayal instilled itself in the demon, yet long ago had its expectations of others been utterly shattered. The prince lead the two into the oddly tight Danzaro Watch tower, a simple building that stood as the singular structure in the Obsidia compound.
  67.
  68. Its wings folded inward as its dress shoes met the floor.
  69.
  70. "If this is all there shall be in the end, then so be it," murmured the Agarthan. It began to slowly shed its clothing as it spoke, delicately folding its garments and setting them upon a chair. Meanwhile, several enthralled servants went about the process of fetching a table and other supplies.
  71.
  72. "Perhaps you are unaware of this fact, my kin, but due to our, mm.. supposed exposure to the spires, our people have been weakened. Altered, even- a strange link between our cousins outside Agartha and the wretched abominations known as the Daemon."
  73.
  74. The demon ensured that it kept its grimoire in hand, rather than allow it to stay within its jacket. It thumbed idly through the pages to search for any last glimpse of knowledge.
  75.
  76. "We grow from what is known as the 'Emotional Cortex', a piece of our being unique to our kind. It is what fuels our evolution. And yet, unlike our cousins, our growth is limited. We are incapable of progressing beyond the state of Archon due to the shackles of our cortex and soul, placed there through unknown means assumedly by the cataclysmic gems."
  77. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [16:48] This was...An interesting concept for the Kaor to take in The demon had to first process the information as quickly as it could. " So..There's a possible evolution beyond that of Archon. I have not imagined it possible to reach a higher state of ascension it makes me wonder if I have not been truly imagining beyond my limits.. " As the Kaor searched its own memories confounded by what it had heard and what the Archon had been briefing them on the demon came to understand some what of what had needed to be done.
  81.
  82. " So if we were to remove this portion of our souls that restrains us you believe it is possible to evolve beyond Archon? Such a force to manipulate not only the soul but the soul of an Archon that has been forged in demonic magics would require....Immense magic something upon the level of Divinity or perhaps even a method could be divulged from Death Magic? " Even if there was no true method the chance to reconfigure a soul would take levels of magic and experimentation unheard of in this realm the thought of it made the Kaor express not only excitement but a profound sense of dread.
  83. (Ra'Kamel)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85.
  86. [16:57] On the mention of divinity, the archon's last bit of clothing fell away, a fine linen undershirt. Of course, there was absolutely nothing appealing about the nude body of a sexless being: Alazauq was thin, pasty, and white, the skin seemingly close to the bone. Yet what did certainly stand out was the strange thing lodged in its chest.
  87.
  88. A plethora of scar tissue surrounded a mithril device that sat uncomfortably in the center of its torso, taking up a surprising amount of space. It was concealed, yet there was a dangerous amount of power ebbing from it, of a sort that Ra'Kamel would utterly detest.
  89.
  90. It was the most pure of holy magics, the most raw sensation of 'justice' possible- hatred made holy through the smiting desire of a paladin. It was at near divine levels, yet something even stronger sat within.. perhaps past it.
  91.
  92. "As I said. The tools are at my disposal- I must merely complete the act."
  93. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [16:57] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  97. [17:08] As the Archon stripped bare there was no slight sign of sensation from the demon that was until it had sensed the very sensation it would no doubt loathe. The blinding array of Holy magics that to an Umbral demon even more so was retched and far too pure for its tastes. The Mythril contraption that stood to center the construct was something to marvel for a moment as well yet still the demon could not but feel fouled when feeling the holy magics.
  98.
  99. "You...To fight off this amount of holy magics constantly it must consume an immense amount of power from you...What is this? " The Kaor was truly puzzled unsure exactly how the Archon could let such magics dwell within its body un harmed. Unless of course they separated it form their form which as they stated would require constant suppression through their own magic power.
  100.
  101. " How Curious...You'll have to explain in greaterdetail what this contraption is for and what exactly I could do...but from my understanding if you were to evolve such levels of Holy magic would rip you apart from the inside..." Clearly the demon was annoyed by the holy magics that glowed through the 'tool' and was rather more so off put by the whole spectacle now.
  102. (Ra'Kamel)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [17:11] Though she knew it was likely worse for Ra than herself she still couldn't say she liked the feeling of being around such potent holy magics.. how was he not torn apart internally from this..
  106.
  107. "So how will you do it?"
  108. (Coraline Invidia II)
  109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  110.
  111. [17:18] It certainly made very little sense as to why the demon was still alive with such a tremendous amount of exorcising magic imbuing its being. Alazauq turned its head upwards with a curl of its lips and a light chuckle.
  112.
  113. "The price of rebellion. Of knowledge. For when you rebel against the divines, they themselves will seek to extinguish your spark."
  114.
  115. The archon's fingers rose to thrum lightly against the surface of the container. There was a stinging ever present, yet it had long ago grown used to the pain.
  116.
  117. "A chosen of the creator struck through me a killing blow, their so called 'justice.' Naturally, keheh.. I refused such a fate, but the wound lays here, ever eating at me. Yet it is the key to my unshackling, for the essence of angels, divinity itself, sits within my very being."
  118.
  119. Lugonqi turned its attention to the arcanium bound tome. It flipped through the pages, ever searching: as if there was always something to be found.
  120.
  121. "When dark and light meet, they nullify one another; that is what I have learned. With this wretched energy cursing me, I can use it to dissolve the shackles on my soul. That, mm.. my theory, at the very least- and what I wish for you two to attempt to aid me with."
  122. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [17:31] For the first time in...Ever there was an expression of shock upon the Kaor's visage. Not only shock but pure and unrivaled distain not for the Archon in truth more so for the plan it wished to do..It was pure insanity.
  126.
  127. "You...would be utterly destroyed...Its already impressive the fact that you are able to suppress so much Exorcistic magic that repels us.. Yet you want to allow that magic to defile your soul as well. You would not survive it! Even if I could I would need to break past the barrier of your soul a process that isn't even certain if you'll withstand that! Its...suicide." From the Demons understanding it was beyond its comprehension..Although the Kaor did formulate the plots and points the runic formulas that could be drawn up to do so there was a lot missing from the equation that could not be done easily or on a mere whim.
  128.
  129. "Archon Entropy not only you but possibly any who have bonded to you" A faltered and hesitant look towards Coraline" Would no doubt be changed by this...If the holy magics aren't strong enough the shackles will not be broken..If they are too strong your soul will dissolve and be exorcized...If the Demonic magic that is to be supplied to you isn't perfect enough for you to sustain yourself during the process you won't be strong enough to endure it...And...The barrier of the soul if that cannot be distorted doing any of this is impossible.." The Kaor was in a panic almost it couldn't imagine doing this to an Archon not merely tampering with its soul it would be out right killing them..The risk were plenty but to achieve a goal would there need to be a sacrifice...Ra understood the journey they had all went down would be one where morality need not be used in fact Ra had none more so this was something more harsh than that.
  130.
  131. "but...from your silent confidence I could only assume you've anticipated such a thing.. Even if you are not proficient in runes I shall enlighten you more so on the basics of the art. First I will say this. Such a thing is not impossible. However the risk and precision needed are plenty. If we erode to much or too little of your soul there will be nothing left behind or the shackles risk binding you even tighter.. "
  132. (Ra'Kamel)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [17:43] Its lips curled ever wider as a smugness settled firmly in- the Kaor's distress was evidently amusing. "There are but only a few things that I have firm belief in, kin, and this is one: I refuse to live as a slave. I will cast off any shackle upon my being or perish in the process. There is no other reason for my being."
  136.
  137. There was a light shake of its head.
  138.
  139. "But you most certainly underestimate me. I have long thought upon this and there is much I have gleamed from the past- much I have learned from our ancestors." On that, the archon offered a light wave of its tome. A compendium of lost and forbidden knowledge that seemed to ebb with depraved energies.
  140.
  141. "There is much I have laid in the way, and even this is but a stepping stone to something more. But I tire of complacency- I desire growth. Will you aid me, kin? Will you step into the realm of progress; of evolution?
  142. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  143. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  144.
  145. [17:49] Although there was some hesitation and much reluctance to do so..." I do not understand why this important to you but I am interested in it enough to aid you. Still recklessness will accomplish us none. We Will and must succeed. Otherwise I fear of our enemies knowing a ritual that could completely seal the power of an Archon entirely from our methods." The demon crossed its arms more so there was something beyond that the Kaor wanted to learn. If it would be able to experiment on Lugonqi to learn levels of occultism that effected even the soul of an Archon then it would find some substance in this work.
  146.
  147. Not to mention the attempt at transcendence was something it would aim to do itself if possible. Even though it would need to conceptualize a less Altruistic approach Entropy was rather distilled with its own life while Ra valued life only when it was useful.
  148.
  149. " Where do we beginthen...If you have plotted for so long I am eager to view your work."
  150. (Ra'Kamel)
  151. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  152.
  153. [17:52] Having watched the entire exchange carefully she grew curious, though she was bonded to him and she had some concerns as to what would befall her should this fail she wasn't all that worried enough to ask. Instead she was more curious as to what her part in this would be if any,
  154.
  155. "What.. am I contributing to this?"
  156.
  157. If nothing else she may be able to aid Ra somehow, the essences of dozens of non-magi and two strong magi at her disposal.
  158.
  159. (Coraline Invidia II)
  160. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  161.
  162. [18:02] It replied first to Coraline.
  163.
  164. "I have granted you my blessing, and with it the power to bestow unto me sacrifices. The energy and emotions stored from those you have asundered. I will need this sacrifice of mana for this operation."
  165.
  166. Enthralled servants laid flat an operating table, with a tray of surgical tools and miscellaneous magical supplies at its side; whatever a magical surgery might need.
  167.
  168. "I will need etchings to slowly allow the magic to seep into my being to break away the shackles of my soul. This will not be an immediate process operation, but the beginning of a, mm.. process. Another ritual will come after this, but this is to be the primus."
  169.
  170. With vague reluctance, Alazauq handed its book to Ra'Kamel. It was covered in symbols and letters that made absolutely no sense, written in an ancient and largely indecipherable language. Yet within it there was to be gleamed some pictures and images that might aid the process. Ancient rune writing techniques of Illyotha.
  171.
  172. The ram laid itself onto the table. Its jaw clenched.
  173.
  174. "I must leave this to you, kin."
  175. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  176. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  177.
  178. [18:03] Lugonqi Alazauq says, "'"An arcanium-bound book forged by the Blacksmith Iosefka. An ancient tome carrying notes on N'lok, and the lost annals of Illyothan scripture that once were lost to time. The entire tome radiates energy, and even just flipping each page is enough to release the power hidden within. Penned and gathered by the Archon Lord Lugonqi Alazauq."'"
  179. [18:06] She summons all of her absorbed victims the screams of rage and hate filling the area and reverberating off of the walls, there was nothing she could do about the noise so hopefully it wouldn't interfere.
  180.
  181. She looks to Ra and Lugonqi awaiting for the moment of when and where her assistance would be needed but is ready to do so.
  182. (Coraline Invidia II)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [18:35] As the Kaor was handed the book by the Archon it allowed the page it was rested on to be the only it laid eyes on for now at the very least. While its knowledge of runes was extensive even a few from the void had been traced within its mind these were of no understanding to them. Although the composition of the runes was somewhat easily understood to a degree.
  186.
  187. " Blood runes...tricky work you know... "But this did not dissuade the demo, in fact, it was a newly explore the territory. Runes carved not only from blood but within the blood of the victim. Enchantments that changed the very design of what was forged in.
  188.
  189. The difficult part of it was the sequencing this touched slightly into magical theory compared to runic theories and to explain it all would take some time...Even the Kaor was dumbfounded for a time although its intelligence peaked higher than most and was able to at the very least comprehend what was needed of it.
  190.
  191. " I shall begin then. From what I gather these runes will filter the holy magic into your soul. Please refrain from moving or otherwise any unfavorable motion. If I fail the design of the rune it could have the opposite effect and cause an explosion of said magic." Ra began first with the scalpel a quick enchantment made it sturdier and sharp enough to carve through the flesh of an Archon without breaking. There was no doubt that the Ra would have to cut deeply for this method if it wasn't deep enough that blood was drawn then there would be no point to it.
  192.
  193. As the carving of the flesh began the purplish-black blood would ooze from the Ram-headed Archon. The lettering and pictures expressed much detail and were not easily depicted yet Ra focused as best it could.
  194.
  195. From a detailed cut came more details intricacies underlined with various patterns and dramatic flares. When all the runes carved into the flesh were completed as depicted there Ra'Kamel would have to move to do so deeper.
  196.
  197. A rune to empower dark magic and a rune that empowered light magic. As unsubtle as it was creating a mana flow of two of these things would cause what is known as an 'aberration' or cancelation of two nonexistent mana sources. Usually, it would create a new element in the case of Fire and Water magic while naturally, one is capable of dousing the other if they are amplified it would create steam magic.
  198.
  199. However when there is no such third defining element what results are...Well in most cases an explosion in other cases merely the two magic feed off of each other until one is determined stronger. However, Ra'Kamel could sense the holy affinity within the chest piece the Archon wore. Not even if all three occultists gathered here could extinguish it by sheer will.
  200.
  201. The demon would then prepare for the final setup the victims or sacrifices enthralled by Entropy would be marked with runes similar to the one Coraline had received at one point although slightly different these would give no benefits or blessings. They would take them. The final step, of course, was to activate the runes simultaneously while weakening as best it could the barrier surrounding the soul of the Archon.
  202.
  203. Only if the barrier was destroyed would they be able to reshape their soul. The very first chain-link in this puzzle, although The Kaor could indeed focus its Demonic source upon the barrier crushing it entirely, was beyond them...Yet it would still attempt this. If they failed...No they could not fail...
  204.
  205. " All the preparatory steps are completed Entropy...All that is left is to tempt the very fate of the creator something I am sure you are prepared for. In this first stage, we will be removing the Barrier around your soul...Runes I've carved around that contraption from your blood will serve as a dampener and filter most of it into the cracks I create."
  206.
  207. " Coraline you will need to supply the Archon with life essence. These mortals are all branded similarly to yourself and extracting it from them should be simple. As they have no will to resist you any longer. "
  208.
  209. "My part is...To force my way through to the Archons soul without damaging it...Although this is risky in and of itself...Death magic teeters on the destruction of the soul entirely...I will need complete and utter control. It is why I placed the rune of darkness and light upon your body as well. It will increase any dark magic flow into your body while also weakening any dark magic flow into your body and the same effects will occur for light magic...This will not be easy but I suppose you wouldn't do so if you didn't trust us. "
  210.
  211. As Ra prepared to channel the runic symbols on, They would create a swirling vortex of dark magic that hovered like a swirling rift just above Lugonqi's stomach. It was clear what the Voidling had intended. To reach deep within the soul for the archon and rip the shell asunder with extreme dark magic. " At your word Archon please prepare and again do not move. "
  212. (Ra'Kamel)
  213. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  214.
  215. [18:43] Doing this in the only way she knew how she hoped her Creator wouldn't be angry at her for this.
  216.
  217. She opens her hands palm first towards the Archon roughly a dozen tendrils of Occult leaving her hands to sink into the Archon's flesh in places where runes were not placed. She used these to gain access to his mana circuitry even more of his ichor leaving from these holes but she had no other way.
  218.
  219. Being as gentle as she could with the process she finally enters the entirety of his circuitry at the Kaor's final word she would begin to pump him with all of her gathered essences.
  220.
  221. Until then however a palpable presence gathered around her, her own mana circuitry filled to the brim even as the essences gathered fed from her own vitality to sustain themselves.
  222.
  223. She didn't go as far as to touch the Archon's soul directly given the nature of what they were doing though it would still work this way... in theory.
  224.
  225. "Let me know when."
  226. (Coraline Invidia II)
  227. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  228.
  229. [18:47] The demon was utterly numb to any sort of operation on its chest. It had runes engraved many times, while the overwhelming amount of scar tissue covering its torso simply rendered it nerveless. Alazauq laid back with a vague eagerness; yet aside from that, the demon was calm.
  230.
  231. It had little fear for what was to come forward: merely hope as to what might be produced.
  232.
  233. "Within this container is not only the 'righteous' magic of a guardian, but the condensed essence of one, something similar to a shard of the spires in power. Call upon this for its divine miracles- it will ensure this operation is a success," instructs Lugonqi before shutting its eyes.
  234.
  235. "Begin."
  236. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [19:18] Taking note of the shard of divinity the demon had never once worked with such a thing and perhaps would use it as a safeguard against destroying the demon's soul entirely. This would require Ra to infuse dark magics unlike any they had done before. As the Archon spoke the words to begin Ra would give a slight not to Coraline knowing that she would have to begin as they did.
  240.
  241. Why did the Kaor do this? To eventually break past their own limits. While it did not trust in the idea Entropy had it had purpose in not only expanding its arsenal of rune crafting as well as sharpening its own Dark Magic and reaching beyond the soul something only One has done before them.
  242.
  243. No words could be spoken as the runes lit up one by one their commands the runes were spelled to do broke into existence. Coding into one algorithm that formed a program and that program started to run. "NOW! An extreme burst of Demonic magic was exhausted in a flash bang like attack. This was without a doubt magic made to kill. it could not be used any other way and the demon took aim at no one other than the Archon of Entropy. As the Demonic Enchanter did their work they would begin speaking a mantra into existence even for an Archon this type of magic undefended would cause them to suffer surely." I will Raze your flesh. Tear apart your skin, Powder your bones...consume your blood, Relish in your fluids...Give onto me the magic that transcends beyond the limits of mortality...and that extinguishes the limits of immortality...Allow me to reach deeper...Into the souls of those who are not worthy of it...Give me DEATH!" As the mantra continued more and more dark magic would be expunged the chaotic heart that channeled the Ra'Kamel's chaotic power began to vibrate erratically the relic still brand new in the hands of its master began to relinquish arcane gifts to its holder.
  244.
  245. Ra would not let up not only did the demon need to have no hesitation it could had to have the intention to kill the Archon entirely. It was up to the efforts of Coraline to safe them while they were on the bring of death. Not only from the magic Ra was expelling to break the barrier to the soul but from the holy magics that attempted to devour the very soul that was being set free.
  246.
  247. What effect could've come from this as the Enchantment magic did its best to filter the extreme exorcist magic as well as the rising levels of occultism that tilted on the very thin edge of Death magic the Kaor would give their all in one final and desperate push. To destroy the barrier to the soul it had managed to Crack open a Dryads yet this was by far the strongest and most dense one they had come across yet.
  248.
  249. Ra' wanted to succeed it wanted nothing more than to do so...With the aid of the spire shard as well as the aid of Coraline and the sacrifices they would hope to pull out what could otherwise be known as a horrific miracle. Something that was only spoken about in rumors and legends and something only one Archon was capable of within the very existence of Agartha. The barrier of the soul shattered to pieces as the demons occultic magic quickly violated the atmosphere of the tower turning it into Death Magic. Although it wasn't a controlled source of power it was enough to nearly shattered the confines of the tower in an explosive force killing any weaker lifeforms unable to carry magic within their souls. It was not only the day Archon of Entropy had been refigured but on this day Ra'Kamel had been born a new.
  250.
  251.
  252. (Ra'Kamel)
  253. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  254.
  255. [19:24] At the Kaor's call the essences of dozens of non-magi and of two far from weak magi would flood the Archon's mana circuitry back tracing it to its orgin.
  256.
  257. The soul.
  258.
  259. Waiting for the barrier itself to break before unleashing the full force of things acting like a safety net for the Archon's own soul after the barrier itself was broken.
  260.
  261. She would add her own scream to the mix using her own mana as a shield also. Doing her best to maintain this shield of sorts she also notes the shift in Ra's magic memorizing the feel of it. Hoping to soon mimic the level of Occultism for herself.
  262. (Coraline Invidia II)
  263. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  264.
  265. [19:42] From the demon's mind poured unadulterated static: as runes found themselves engraved into occultic flesh and divine magic was pushed through to mingle with the archon's soul, Alazauq's will power was put to the test. This being was one that had spent its entire life seeking to master the mind.
  266.
  267. And certainly, this would not be the first time it willed itself to remain alive in the face of death.
  268.
  269. Emotions poured freely into the minds of the duo, as if to glimpse into the soul of the Lord of Entropy. It was a shattered psyche seemingly glued together, a frail existence that had been stomped on time and time again. A being that clung tightly onto life by its very finger nails, surviving only through an immense hatred for all that had wronged it.
  270.
  271. Brief glimpses of images of the past flashed into their mind's eye. Families burning in a snowy mountain top. The visage of a blessed being staring directly into their own, eye to eye, holding within that stare a terrible hatred.
  272.
  273. And then, there was blackness: an infinite void of darkness that had no escape.
  274.
  275.
  276. It was the trauma of a life of grief and defeat the rolled up together into one fractured soul, one mind which stood the many tests thrown at it. Lugonqi convulsed on the table as a natural instinct from the great amount of energy flowing in, as divine energies tore at the chains of its soul.
  277.
  278. But it was through hatred that it lived. A scorn that gave life, that allowed its soul to remain tethered just enough.
  279. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  280. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  281.
  282. [19:57] Ra continued to pour pure death from its being, Existence ambient Death magic flowed from the creature them being unable to control it so instead the flow of death was inverted upon itself. Ra would aim to target its own soul while also targeting that of Lugonqi's if it was able to recreate the shape and make up of it...Something that was perhaps overstepping its bounds but this power was truly beyond Ra's control..
  283.
  284. As a concussive force of divine magic began to surge the black sheen of death was reversed and the flow of the magic turned back upon Ra'Kamel's own body Forcing the shell of its soul to be shattered completely as well. Ripped out of its body.
  285.
  286. A flood of memories that were not their own surged into the mind of Ra'Kamel memories that belonged to Lugonqi, Hardship, struggle. Near death countless times the Archon had known suffering the black hatred that boiled the very hell flames that covered its morose wings were burned with full purpose. Even the Kaor came to understand the shattering blows the Archon had faced. Ra'Kamel had knew shame plenty of times but to the Archon of Entropy his wounds were trivial.
  287.
  288. The Kaor was reduced to nothing for a moment only keeping control of its of sanity through sheer will. The divine burst of energy made it difficult for a soul to exist without shackles yet something attracted the Kaor's power back into its body. The chaotic heart vibrated with immense force like a magnet it drew back Ra's soul back into it their body. As the demon manifest back into their body pulled back in with the spire shard and the chaotic heart another burst of death magic surged unlocking more darkness within itself.
  289.
  290. " GAAAAAAAAARHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAa " The expulsion of dark magic began to cease and the demon drained of its resources fell to its knees. A faint stare towards the Archon to see what had became of them...This was no doubt trying for Coraline as well...Seeing as Ra could no hold back its intention to kill...Anyonewithin the room she would've had to survive on her own wit and talents.
  291.
  292. (Ra'Kamel)
  293. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  294.
  295. [20:27] The sheer amount of magic she was dealing with caused great strain to her, especially channeling so much mana through her newly replaced arm.
  296.
  297. When the Archon's barrier broke and the memories flooded her mind she screamed once more the sound shrill. Though if anything in the end, it would only add to her own hatred of the Divine. She felt when the Death Magic lashed out to Ra, though she could do nothing to prevent it.
  298.
  299. Her method was so out of the way she only felt the briefest of lashes against her own soul barrier, and it was able to withstand it even if it caused her great pain.
  300.
  301. As the absorbed essences were all consumed and her own mana drained she fell to her own knees a sheen of sweat covering her body... the tendrils of Occult simply fading to non-existence since she didn't have the energy to remove them.
  302. (Coraline Invidia II)
  303. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  304.
  305. [20:36] It was a violent process, horribly so: but it wasn't merely destruction. It was a combination of divine magic and death, of holy and dark; opposites mixing together to alter the demon's very essence. To free its limits. Life was sought to be destroyed through exorcism, while it was given through occultism.
  306.
  307. Holy magic broke away at dark shackles while the power of the divine worked at the very base of Alazauq's being. While Ra'Kamel was working his own magic, Lugonqi was forcing the magic through its frame with a mixture of willpower and mental incantations which it had long ago mastered. Mana was flowing wildly through its being.
  308.
  309. For a second, yet again, it stared into face of death.
  310.
  311. And it brought nothing but joy to the demon.
  312.
  313. The energies of Coraline were greedily sucked at: a mana that was nearly akin to the demon's own, given that the Invidia had taken in the flesh of the ram. With the three working in tandem to force this process along: the magic of accursed, rune writer, chaos, holy, dark, and divine, a putrid ritual had taken place.
  314.
  315. Purple ichor dripped freely from the archon's chest..
  316.
  317. ..and the bright glow of gold that once sat in its torso was now anull, the container and seal utterly empty.
  318. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  319. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  320.
  321. [20:37] Coraline Invidia II asks, "Did... it work?"
  322. [20:37] Ra'Kamel says, "..urhg..."
  323. [20:37] Ra'Kamel asks, "Archon...Entropy Coraline...What happened ?"
  324. [20:38] Lugonqi Alazauq says, "Khhh..."
  325. [20:43] There was an unfathomable pain.. and yet it meant so very little to all it had felt before. Pain was nothing new to the near century old Agarthan.
  326.
  327. It made no immediate noise or twitch. But an oppressive aura of occultism ebbed freely from its body, basking the two in its vile power. Regardless of the outcome of the ritual, the holy magic had been seeped away to allow Alazauq's innate magic to flow all the more easily.
  328.
  329. Ever so slowly, like a doll, the archon rose as if pulled by invisible strings. There was no flexion of muscles or movement of innards to cause motion, but its limbs did still move.
  330.
  331. Off the table, the ragdoll like Agarthan slowly fumbled with returning its clothes back on. It was a strange sight: its being controlled entirely by some invisible force.
  332.
  333. And naturally, that same force pulled at the tome it had given previously to Ra'Kamel, stealing it away from him to be returned to the infernus.
  334. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  335. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  336.
  337. [20:49] While the concept of the arcane had eluded the Ra for many years there was no doubt a resurgence of the power within itself once it hold possession of its heart once more. As the book flew from its hand and it watched the Archon stand merely from the sheer will of its power the Kaor could do not but begin to understand more of what the power enveloping the world was capable of.
  338.
  339. As if the very fibers of the lifestream bend to the will of the Archon and flowed through them to aid it in moving its body. A phantom like sight. Had the Kaor's soul not been fractured and still admits repair they would've paid more attention although this power could not be seen even scarcely felt it could only be only silently be understood.
  340.
  341. Yet still the Kaor was interested to know what had become of them had they succeeded in breaking past the limits of the Creator? Or perhaps were they merely oppressed by the legacy left behind by their ancestors...Even so with Death magic idling within the Kaor's soul it wondered if it could contain it for longer... It had to ascend to fully grasp this power...to truly control it there would be much more that need be done.
  342. (Ra'Kamel)
  343. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  344.
  345. [20:49] Ra'Kamel asks, "Entropy?"
  346. [20:51] She would laugh as the Archon rose, more a laugh of relief than anything. She was glad they hadn't killed him.
  347.
  348. Though now she had seen some semblance of Death Magic, so she would have some reference to go on for herself.
  349.
  350. Then the tome flew back to his hand and she rose first to her feet and then softly into the air as her own mana began to replenish slowly.
  351.
  352. "Was it a success?"
  353. (Coraline Invidia II)
