Started my account in Cata because some high school friends got me to do recruit a friend with them, then did only heroic dungeons and mostly Tanked. (at this point I was a keyboard turning clicker, and had no clue what I was doing). I did one wing of LFR and then stopped playing (LOL)
Around MoP I got into League and didn't really play that much wow, I meet some friends who I still play with to this day and they got me into MoP so I played a few months of the end of the expansion casually doing only dungeons and some LFR and no actual raiding ( was still keyboard turning and clicking and didn't care to not do that.)
WoD- My friends told me I could tank for their guild if I got into wow seriously but never fully committed. I leveled to about 93 or 94 and then stopped playing entirely.
Around when Antorus came out the same friends I met in MoP were in a pretty deceant semi hardcore guild and got me a chance to raid as a DPS (even though I wanted to tank). They told me they already had 2 really good tanks on their roster so My best chance at a raid spot was as a dps. So i began playing a Havoc DH. After getting my BIS legos for DH, My raid leader told me we could use a Ret Pala and at the time We didn't have one for Antorus mythic prog. I was super willing to shift mains and did and got pretty lucky too, and since then played ret all the way til about BoD. When BoD was going into EP I started learning brewmaster Monk and became OBSESSED with it. I again found a huge interest in tanking and started to mostly tank lower keys til I met some new friends who taught me a lot about M+ and Raid tanking. I joined a casual AOTC guild and Helped them get AOTC while tanking. Few weeks went by and my main guild (<cosmere) Which i am still in today) needed a tank because our main tank quit, so i stopped playing DPS For <cosmere> and swapped to brew for most of EP. It really really energized my prior interest with tanking and got me re-hooked on tanking. So I kept tanking M+ to learn more and more about tanking. I got ksm on my Brewmaster monk in season 3 and 4. Then in season 4 i got a 3.6k IO on my monk and started playing a lot of Prot warrior. Between Nzoth prog in <cosmere> I trialed with a guild on Area 52 ( a much higher populated server) and got CE for the first time and as a tank (brewmaster monk).

really close to ksm on my monk as well (but didn't get it on my monk for season 3)
