chapter starts with mina, thinking how this is what she always wanted and no more of that feeling of loneliness. then she thinks how all the feelings of resentment and anger she had till now, have melted and disappeared. mc wakes up moaning and mina kinda asks 'what's going on'. mc implies that his head hurts a little and mina asks if he's okay and mc says how it's okay and how it's only a small thing. mc then asks if she can hear him out about smth he wants to tell her and mina asks 'what about'. mc says how it's smth he should have told her yesterday, but never did and it's not smth that important, just his own story.

narration how it might have sounded like an excuse, what he was saying, but he wanted mina to listen to him. mc then details how he told mina the story of how his mother died because of his playful acting and the story of yuna/fmc and all about his amnesia and headaches. then about gf/yeon-su and douche/donghan, till the point where gf left from his life.

mc x mina walking down the streets holding hands and she thinks that she now knows the reason why gf left from mc's life, cause she did the same thing before(dropped her love for mc in favor of gf) and how having everything that you want/desire, it's not love and breaks the hand holding with mc and tells him that she will go back to the library. mc is all 'what ..no mina' and tells her not to do that anymore, that he will now do everything that she wants(he think she will hoe herself again).

mina then replies how now, it's okay and thanks him for telling her his honest story and how that story of his wasn't smth easy to talk about. then she confesses that she likes him and she will now go back to her studying, cause it's what she wants to do. how she doesn't have any regrets and she's glad that she is able to laugh again. then she tells him not to worry about gf, because is what she chose to do. then, how she will let him know if gf gets in touch with her. mina then tells him 'see you next time ..bye~' and walks away.

mc at home and sees the diary and says how, it's the first time he see it and wonders who it belongs to. then he remembers a talk that he had with fmc, where he asked about why is she is still awake and perhaps fmc told him how she was writing in her diary and mc then expressed how she was 'writing hard' there. mc then kinda realizes who's is it and says 'yuna?!' and 'yuna's diary?'.

he starts reading and laughs, wondering what is that about and how most of it, it's about his story. then he reads/sees smth that triggers him and and it's a hand note on a picture, that says 'do you remember? the promise?'. then it's mc and a flashback where young fmc tells him 'you know .. when we meet again, then, we ..at that time, let's get married. promise! you cannot forget it!'(might be about the location too). fb over and mc gets triggered seeing the old pic of a rough looking him and a lovely fmc.

mc then makes a run for it at that lakeside view location from the picture and finds fmc sleeping there. mc then asks fmc if she was hiding here, not wanting to see him and if not, was she waiting for him and complains how girls can be so difficult. fmc wakes up and on a tsundere tone, says how she expected mc to come back here much later on and kinda ask if mc is having other issues, yet again.

mc then tells fmc that gf left and she gets triggered. mc tells her more, that fmc doesn't have to worry about it and everything is fine now. fmc then says how, coming here to get fresh air, makes ones mind all clear(mcs) and how she honestly did not expect mc to come down here, since she thought he would not be able to remember the location. mc then says how the tree grew up a lot and fmc asks if he remembers it all. mc says 'no' and how he only remembers small partial images and how in fact, he doesn't care that much if those memories of his return to him or not, but he remembers one thing for sure and when fmc goes all '?' faced, mc says how he remembers how much he loved her back then.

fmc then blushes and is all 'what?' and mc then tells her that he wants to make good on their promise. mc all blushed, kinda asks fmc how, 'it's the first time?' how, this is the first time that he tells this to her and laughs. then, fmc all shy and with tears in her eyes calls mc 'baka!'. mc then gets closer to fmc and wants for fmc to honestly tell him, if she was waiting here for him and kinda says that she was, but she tells him 'go away..you baka!'. tbc...
