  1. Jodenstone FAQ
  2.
  3. Q: Where are you from?
  4. A: I was born and live in Sweden.
  5.
  6. Q: What is the World Record for OoT Any%?
  7. A: [18:07](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwoFb1zS3B0) by me, Jodenstone.
  8.
  9. Q: What do you capture your consoles with?
  10. A: A Plexgear Moviesaver 220
  11.
  12. Q: Where can you save the most time in your PB?
  13. A: I lost 1 second on the Ganon fight right at the end, as well as a small amount of the time on the WESS to Kakariko.A fractionally faster escape is also possible and there is a YOLO WESS which can save roughly half a second. Besides minor improvements and possibly RNG, there is no other mistakes. (http://jodensoundboard.site88.net/JodenSplitsOverview.htm)
  14.
  15. Q: Why are you still running OoT?
  16. A: I want to see how good my splits are. I know there are mistakes in this PB and if I can still save time I would love to push the WR lower. However this may only be temporary and I may move to other games, Majora's Mask Any% in particular.
  17.
  18. Q: Is Ocarina of Time dead? Is Any% done?
  19. A: No, eventually someone will beat this time. However if I plan to continue running this category I am aiming for an 18:05 with these current strats.
  20.
  21. Q: Is Cosmo coming back to running OOT Any% now Joden has beaten his WR?
  22. A: Cosmo has stated before that he will not come back to OOT Any% unless new glitches are found so probably not.
  23.
  24. Q: Is sub 18 possible?
  25. A: Sub 18 is just about possible. However, it would be extremely difficult and it is unrealistic that anyone will get it with current strategies. My sum of best is so low for a few reasons. Firstly, all sum of bests are always at least a bit better than what they actually are. This is because you are bound to eventually get a better best split due to slightly incorrect splitting (splitting early/late). Also, I usually do hard strategies that save extra time when it is impossible for me to PB, that I would otherwise not go for in a normal/PB pace run.
  26.
  27. Q: Are you going to AGDQ?
  28. A: If I had began running swordless something like 2 months earlier, I would definitely have loved to go this year. However, everything has been happening so quickly that I just didn't have the time to plan to go to AGDQ this year. I would love to go next time.
  29.
  30. Q: What is YOBO?
  31. A: YOBO stands for You Only Backflip Once. This is a risky strategy that can be done at the Wrong Warp glitch. At the Wrong Warp glitch, usually a strategy is used that involves backflipping three times. The YOBO strategy only uses one backflip and saves about half a second. I usually do this when I am behind or need it in order to PB.
  32.
  33. Q: What is YOLO escape?
  34. A: YOLO escape is a method of doing the escape glitch at the beginning of the run faster. Usually, you would go to the corner and do a backflip strategy to get in the correct position for this glitch. With the YOLO escape, that backflip from the corner is skipped. This saves about 1-2 seconds but is a lot harder. I use this in all my runs now as my escape split is extremely fast.
  35.
  36. Q: Does Cosmo know about you? Will he be mad if you get the World Record?
  37. A: Cosmo knows about me. He has tweeted about me a few times and even donated to me. Cosmo wasn't mad when I beat his time and is likely happy that someone was able to push the time even lower.
  38.
  39. Q: Are you illuminati?
  40. A: Certainly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiJbyEG-UQE
  41.
  42. Q: Have you ever played a game so much that you feel like you've run out of replay value?
  43. A: Some people choose to come up with additional challenges such as beating a game as fast as possible, scoring as many points as possible or pushing a mulitplayer game to its competitive limit.
  44.
  45. Q: Ocarina of Time has no scoring system. It's not multiplayer. It is a singleplayer journey through an epic world. So; how fast can someone beat it?
  46. A: My name is Jodenstone and this is my speedrun of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in 18 minutes and 7 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwoFb1zS3B0
