- A bunch of things are putting me off from really starting going deep into tasing hunters yet.
- The first is movement. Slight changes in direction can slightly increase the distance gained in a frame, but it might appear that this comes at the cost of speed over time? I'm still trying to figure it out. Another thing is that hitting a slant or the lip of a ledge at a high z-speed will result in a lot of that speed being converted to x/y speed. There is a clip in the arcterra landing site where you clip through the ice floor by hitting the edge of the snow floor at a high speed that takes advantage of that sorta. I don't think
- Another thing is RNG. I'm still not sure on how to really go about finding out how it works. I might just have to resort to trial and error in the end.
- I'm not quite sure about which etank to pickup (if any tbh).
- The last thing is that there is potential for a few more skips and that is receiving a lot of priority.
- I'm thinking about doing a test tas first without heavy movement optimization and without a lot of RNG manipulation to figure out potential problem spots and then go back and do a better TAS afterwards. Doing 2 TASes sorta helped me with BIONICLE because I didn't exactly have the best idea of how everything was going to fit together at first before I made my second one. It'll probably be the same for Hunters.
