  1. He was born to die. Born to serve the legion, born to fight, born to earn glory on the battlefield, and born to die. He was told they were fearless, all he saw were fools too blinded by their own lust for glory to recognize battles they couldn't win. Caution, patience, timing, these were the skills he found value in. It was no surprise when he exalted as an earth aspect. It was no surprise when he completed his training in the House of Bells, a dragon with his maturity and discipline raised by the Cathaks would make a fine commander.
  2.
  3. He took them by complete surprise when he went private. A dragon opting to work as a sellsword wasn't unheard of. A Cathak Bell's Graduate was a hot commodity on the market of bodyguards as well. Hyoh could have cared less about his name, but there was little he could do about the influence it brought him and the work offers it brought in. He strove to prove that it was his skill that should convince people to hire him, not his name.
  4.
  5. Cathak Hyoh thought he would spend the rest of his life in the shadow of his name. Cathak Hyoh had never expected that he would find what he was looking for in Alain Albain Greil. He was a cantankerous old man that wanted the strongest bodyguard he could find. He was reckless beyond all belief and had a temper shorter than a match. He had no sense of honor outside of loyalty to his men and a belief in discipline. Alain Albain Greil was the best friend he had ever had.
  6.
  7. The two of them butted heads almost constantly at first. The two were near complete opposites. When Hyoh championed caution, Greil charged in. When Hyoh kept his cool, Greil's temper flared to rage. When Hyoh remained patient, Greil refused to sit still. Yet it was these contradictions that made them an unstoppable pair. They perfectly balanced one another, with Greil spurring Hyoh to action when the time was right, and Hyoh convincing Greil to exercise caution when hidden danger's lurked behind them.
  8.
  9. Hyoh was not a Cathak when he was around Greil. The old man called him "Sunshine", claiming that it wouldn't kill him to smile. Hyoh called him "Gramps" as a crack at his age. They shared a tent. They ate all of their meals together. They polished their armor, and maintained their weapons together. In many ways, they had formed a hearth of their own. The Solar and the Dragon, He had been born to die, but perhaps he was fated to a longer life than his kin. Then again, with how Greil lived his life, he might have been less annoyed dealing with the Legion.
