People with right-wing minds have stricter conceptual boundaries, as they usually have less overall variables in their worldview, and so they don't subclass or make a continuum out of what they consider discrete variables.
This is part of the reason why they will insist transgender people really *are* whatever sex they were born.
They don't do nuance and complexity.
It's also why they care more about physical boundaries, e.g. between 'races' and religions.
