JOHN STRIDER - HEIR OF TIME
His handle is etherealBaphomet (formerly ghastlyTormentor); his patron is Karkat.
He wields Hammerkind and all of its variants; Post-Scratch John invents a new weapon and Specibus, HmrGunkind.
He lives with his Sis in a large apartment in Texas, where she invents odd devices designed to make life easier at home; this has made her very rich, and so she uses some of the profit to keep them living nicely in between her going to college.
John himself is an overachiever-wannabe; in truth, he can't really multitask that well and is a bit of an ass if he fails too often. Despite it, he is extremely dedicated, and even admits that he isn't that good with other people; he does have some very logical insights, though, and actually has some decent relationship advice despite never having dated.
He also really unironically loves bad movies, and hates when Rose attempts to provide torrent links for them; he prefers finding them himself, but he ends up finding the same links that Rose posts anyway.
Post-Scratch John is the ultimate tactician, it is him. He led the rebels in secret in between being a comedian who hid subliminal messages in his acts. He later met with Jade and the two became close partners, but disappeared after killing the President of the United States (undecided who it'd be, but it'd go along with religion + blindness).

JADE LALONDE - WITCH OF LIGHT
Her handle is gaiasGreed; her patron is Equius.
She wields ToyRiflekind, but later alchemizes Riflekind; Post-Scratch Jade uses both Riflekind and Bowkind.
She lives with her Dad in a huge mansion; most of the time, though, her Dad is gone because of business
opportunities abroad. She's perfectly fine with it, often scouring the house and putting reminders for him to get rid of unused things upon his return. She later uses some of these unused things to alchemize.
Jade herself is a very organized individual, keeping rubber bands on her wrists just in case she forgot anything. She's a little detached, having lost her dog Bec several years before, but still retains her sense of humor and dry sarcasm. During the game, she grows more frustrated over time due to how "disorganized" the game seems from a player's perspective. She loves animals and wants to find the perfect robot pet, but most of the time, she finds them a bit of a disappointment.
Post-Scratch Jade is a wonderful ranged combatant, although she'd met John at one of his shows because she'd been told that a great organization's leader was there. She killed the High Champlain of Earth-Space Relations (who is undecided in these notes, but would be themed on hypocrisy and self-destroying purposes).

DAVE EGBERT - KNIGHT OF BREATH
His handle is terrorsGodhood; his patron is Tavros.
He wields Pankind at first, before alchemizing Swordkind; Post-Scratch Dave uses Swordkind.
He lives with his Dad, although the stuffed corpse of his Pops lives in the living room. Despite his Dad being a 1950s fellow, Dave knows that his Pops was the coolest guy ever known, or so he likes to believe. He doesn't really know that much about his Pops.
Dave himself is a very rebellious sort, wearing sunglasses and messing up his own hair just to look cool. He likes bad movies and artists nobody's heard of, and he likes to talk--a lot. Tavros often has to tell him to shut up.
Post-Scratch Dave was raised by His All-Seeing DualIIty and Lord English, taking a special interest in music and growing to be a fine musician and inventing the art of orchestral rap.

ROSE HARLEY - SEER OF SPACE
Her handle is threadedThorns; her patron is Aradia. Her "fairy god troll" is Vriska, who's working with Tavros as a team effort to beat the Derse siblings.
She wields GrdnToolkind at first, before switching to MgcStaffkind and Wandkind; Post-Scratch Rose uses Staffkind.
She lives with her cat Jaspers, although her dead Grandmother also "lives" there, technically speaking of course.
Living on an island allowed Rose more time to study, although she does get tired of the same old books over and over.
Rose herself is more studious than her counterpart, although her dialect can sometimes be simpler due to habit. She attempts to manipulate others through psychology, which usually ends up working. She meets her somewhat-of-a-match with Nepeta, although the two share game tips even as Rose herself is being used as a pawn.
Post-Scratch Rose was raised by His All-Seeing DualIIty, but had run away once the seatroll killed their cat. She raised Roxy before being attacked in the library, leaving Rose dead. She'd been a very good defender of their island before that, but now it's been overrun by nature.
