  1. [19:43] Clay moved up from the lobby toward Astrologian and stopped at attention. "Ma'am. If you're departing to aid those in the slums, count me in."
  2. [19:47] Jackson Sylvia made his way to Astro while over hearing the cadet he turned around looking them up and down as he wondered who they were. "Sounds good cadet, we are heading out now so get your ass ready." Jackson would flash them a thumbs up and look to Nanko. "Keep an eye on him, i would but i'll be in the thick of it."
  3. [19:48] Astrologian turned her head and saw the Cadet approach her and raised a brow as he was in attention to her. But now wasn't the time to speak on formalities. She would discuss that with him later. "Just call me SFC or Astrologian. And glad to have you aboard Cadet. We're going to need all the help we can get to save our Shin-Ra personal." She then looks to MSG Hawk and nods at him. "Team's gathering Hawk if you are ready to move out. I'll be glad to keep an eye on him after all I am a support." She said smiling at him.

With his gunblade in hand he figured the man would already know who he was dealing with so Jackson pointed the barrel of the weapon at his opponent. "You really want a rematch that bad huh? Jackson remarked not wasting a moment as he rushed at Ark taking the fight to his new found rival.[10m Movement | Basic attack]

Though as Jackson launched his assault, Ark's weapon left it's sheet in a flash of steel! The sparks flying off both weapons having Ark keep his gaze on his opponent, nothing but contempt on his face as he'd push off against Jackson, and return fire with a swift double strike!!

  38. [20:52] Clay was bathed in a shield of light, which was a warm, comforting feeling for the time being, and not one he expected to stay with him. Cleighton pushed for cover, rushing around Astrologian's back and making for the shop wall nearby. He felt sweat already collecting on his brow and he could feel his heart beating through his collar. Partially terrified, and partially thrilled. The cadet felt a powerful urge to throw out everything he had. Given what he'd already experienced, despite all he'd learned that told him to not be beholden to that urge. The air electrified behind his barrier as he focused on his bracer. The focal point of his effort had to be on his fellow MPs, and he internalized that by forcing a cascade of verdant light to rain down over Hawk. [Cura > Hawk:] +8 HP

[21:09] Jackson Sylvia pushed back against Ark as the grinding of the metal trying to force the mans hand Jackson managed to get a reaction from him as Ark made his counter Jackson found himself getting forced back as the the first attack struck him though with enough time to guard Jackson clashed with the weapon once again though the impact started to screw with his still screwed nerves. "It won't be that easy." Jackson said his voice low and intimidating as he jumped back away from Ark the Gunblade quickly getting put away freeing his hand for the hilt of the katana he carried. Taking a deep breath Jackson focus on his target the warmth of the curative spell washing over him he lashed out quickly at Ark with a pin point attack. [Switch Hitter | Laijutsu]

Ark moved to hop back as he turned into the attack, protective barrier losing one of it's shields in a shattering of magical power, the Red Head's eyes opening up a bit more, seemingly taking things a bit more seriously now. He'd hop back another few feet, but not before turning and unleashing a pair of rapid strikes against Hawk, Ark pointing the weapon down at him. "Come."

  54. [21:26] Clay felt the pressure continue to build as he cooled down from the moderate usage of curative magic. This was tough. As much as he'd expected it to be. He scoured the battlefield from between the support struts and found himself wanting for a battlefield scattered in debris or something that was a little less barren than this. (+2 MP) Thumping his fist against the pillar in frustration, Clay's bracer crackled to life again and seared the air as he focused on putting Hawk's injuries to bed while he could. This wasn't the opportunity they needed. Once again, the Master Sergeant was bathed in glowing verdant light, and then Cleighton looked to Astrologian. Mouthing the words, "He can't charge in there," Clay backed further around the corner, eliminating any sight the enemy might have had on him. [Cura > Hawk: +8 HP]
  55. [21:28] Mom: darts for cover in the converted cargo container as her materia lights building flames into her hand. As she skids to a stop and turns a small arrow of flame is sent streaking towards Hawk. [+2MP, 8m move, fire->Hawk -2MP (4dmg if hit)]

  58. [21:32] Astrologian held her throat as she gasped for air. Tears would form out her eyes under her helmet as she couldn't breath through Bioga. Her materia would glow green as she trying to breathe while getting some more distance from the fight. Finally being able to breathe again, she would nod her head to Clay. "Y-yea.." She said quietly replying to him. "let's play it safe." She whispered to him. [-4 hp due to Plague|regain +3 mp|Esuna Lv 3 @Nanko|-6 mp|8 movement|protect 2/3]

  62. [21:39] Jackson Sylvia grinned as the rush from the battle gave him the ultimate high, fighting someone so skilled as so much fun to him. As the battle raged on the clashing and wounding of one another would come to a stop as Ark moved away, the words the man spoke Jackson could tell it was to bait him thus Jackson put even more room between the two of them linking back up with his comrades for now.   65. [21:59] Clay heard the on rush of footsteps that was coming their way and assumed it to be Hawk until his silhouette coming around the corner confirmed that to be the case. It seemed like they needed to buy their time and regroup already, that was until Cleighton watched as the Master Sergeant was buzzed by a throwing knife while trying to retreat back to them. Cleighton reeled, stuffing his hands down the baggy pockets of his standard issue blues and grappled with a green canister. He stepped out and toward Ark before pinching the key off. He lobbed it roughly between Ark and the rebel in white directly behind him after pulling the pin. The can bounced across the battlefield as Cleighton looked back to the Sergeant First Class and pointed her toward the shop door. There was a sharp pop, and then there was smoke. [Item use: Smoke Grenade > Blind to those effected for 1 turn (Designated by green cylinder)]

  78. [22:13] As the smoke seemed to bar Ark's vision following his successful strike against Jackson, Ark seemingly seemed distressed... ... Only for him to leap high into the air, smoke trailing off of his body, the Red Wolf coming down on top of the Cadet from above with his blade like a bolt of lightning! Ark lifting himself up off the ground after the attack, leaving Cleighton to wonder what just happened.... Only for him to turn, pointing the blade at him, and pulling the trigger, the gun recoiling and an explosion of power happening on Cleighton's position!

  84. [22:21] Clay attempted to scramble backward to make for the door into the shop, but his ambition was cut painfully short as the Guardian dove at him like a bat out of hell. The crash of the weapon firing was almost the most jarring part, if it wasn't also accompanied but sudden searing pain as the slash was accompanied by an explosive blast that tore the wound wide open. It went from laceration, to sucking chest wound almost immediately. Blood spilled out of the gash as he stumbled back into the shop support and fell onto his back. There was a moment where his bracer began to flicker in retaliation, likely to attempt to stymie his bleeding, but before he could manage anything he succumbed to the intense pain and fell unconscious. [KO]

It was certainly a difficult fight. And with the approaching threats from all around, the Woman found those Demonized Tri-optic Lenses focused onto Ark Angel right from the Distance, it was hard to tell the woman's expression, but as that Gun was brought up against her holster, keeping that Bracer Tightened, She was prepared to Engage in Combat. ''Astrologian!'' Soma offered out. She needed to try and close the distance to the other Fellow MPs. [Arrived!]
  125. [22:44] And... There it was. The call out of the warzone having drawn Gene's attention. The sound of boots coming down upon the shop's upper level, the black-clad insurgent looming overhead to survey the battlefield. Without so much as a single word, his hand rose up to pull Splinter from their bindings, signaling the Raven's intent. [Gene has arrivedethed.]
  126. [22:49] Illyana begins to slowly creep around the ledge, moving quietly, trying to get a better position to view what's going on. She curses softly to herself. Most nights were quiet. Why hadn't tonight been quiet, too? She'd just wanted to come down and get a drink, not wind up in the middle of a warzone. Some days it didn't pay to get out of bed.

With a turn of her boot, she would make a run for Soma. Her bangle would glow green as she felt happy to see help had come.

[23:00] Ark didn't waste any time, with the MP charging their way towards Soma, he gave chase, the Red Head not wanting to give her the freedom to escape him as he'd slide into position behind Astrologian. Ark hated that he was about to do this, but it needed to be done. He aimed to thrust the blade up, and into the MP. If Ark succeeds, he'd slowly move to hoist her up, and into the air above him, before Ark turned to slash them off the blade, and into the pavement at his side!
