  1. Noemie: <i> Walking up in the women's truck still in her dress from the night before. Having the mask off to the side on the passenger seat, she lightly groaned from how much she drank. Seeing that she had a message on her phone and what was there was a picture of her and Val. The she wolf was smiling in it and Val had kissed her cheek while holding champagne. Giggling to herself and read the message below it, 'Thanks for a good time. Btws, you are a good kisser." Realized that they had kissed while drunk, she smirked and laughed whole heartly. It was the first time in a long while she fully let loose in some time. Saving the photo and closed it shortly after. Removing her makeup with a wipe and changed into a normal grey tank top with wornout blue jeans. Turning on her engine and the first song that played made her eyes soften in delight as well as heartache. "When a new moon shines through your window, or you hear a sad song on the radio. Then you don't know why you but just start to crrrrry....or your driving round on a sunny day, and outta nowhere comes the pouring rain. Then a memory hits you right out of the bluuuuuuue. That's just me........thinking of yooooou." ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wlc_PlLd0bE ) Having her strands down after taking it down when changing, she sighed when her first thought went to that first meeting with Colt. Remembering that sweet voice. How gentle he was being. Running her digits through her strands and closed her gaze, using every bit of strength not to get emotional. He was the one person she could trust, that was outside of her pack and besides Alyissa along with Val. Stephen, however, she never got to know him outside their first meeting and she had off feelings about him. Having watched him at the party last night only confirmed that for her. He never truly love Alyissa...not in the way she had hoped so she left. Quite frankly she didn't blame the former Beta. She would have done the same thing. Once she had opened her gaze again, the song had finished and went to a different one. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SniMv8EGiY) It was something calming and there was something about the country twang that just spoke to her. All she ever wanted in her life was to have a home, a pack, and someone to love her. It wasn't too much to ask for. Though with her trust issues, it made it hard to love or trust so easily. Shaking her head of the thoughts and straightened her posture, staying in her car outside Regan's Grill parking lot. Regan didn't really mind that she was there as long as she didn't cause trouble. Jacques was still looking for a pack house as far as she knew so she chose to stay in her ol' Betsy. 82 crimson Chevy. After a few minutes, her inner wolf ears perked up and caused her to get out of her truck. The women had caught the sounds of trees shifting in the forest near her. Going towards it to investigate, Noemie would put up her guard making sure to be prepared for what was to come. Within seconds she'd look around. What the hell? There's nothing around. Was she going paranoid? Or where they or it hidden?
  2.
  3. Jamie: Jamie had just ducked behind the nearest building when he heard the slam of a truck door. He braced himself against the back of the building and calmed his breathing, making sure that he was quiet as he stood there and waited... Waited to see if whoever was out there was coming any closer.... Waited to see if they walked off. The thick oak branches and foliage from the trees and bushes made a decent cover enough to stay hidden and watch out for anyone and to get dressed. Nothing more satisfying than a early evening run to loosen up the muscles...' Jamie thought to himself as he pulled on a pair of black slacks that conformed to his toned legs. A pearlescent white shirt that was probably a little tight in the arms but once he rolled up the sleeves half way, everything was good. Having no idea where his tie went, he kept it a open collar so it looked more natural. Tucking in, smoothing out and running his fingers through his dampened hair, he really didn't have a mirror nearby in order to make sure things looked good. ( https://iv1.lisimg.com/image/9972409/580full-stuart-reardon.jpg ) In this case, he would just have to wing it. Dusting off his pants, he ducked his 6'2 broad frame under the trees and looked around, trying of course to be inconspicuous, but failing in some regard or other. He spied a truck that was parked on the other side of the street. "That must have been the sound I heard..." he muttered to himself as he shook his head before walking down the street towards this place called the Three Muses. He slipped the mask from his pocket and slid it over his face, having tied it before putting the mask on. ( https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41YXSsjwEKL.jpg ) Jamie walked inside the building and looked around, standing near the entrance in a dark corner. Watching.
  4.
  5. Noemie: Catching the view of a six foot two male that had sifted from some sort of form, she made sure to keep quiet and watched him. As he had started towards the Three Muses, the women's lips slightly curled into a smile. How interesting. Someone new. Being swift and made her way towards her truck once more. Going into the bed of her truck and got her brand new dress that was there. Val slightly convinced her that she should get this when they were traveling through the french quarter. Snaking out of her original clothes and slipped into her satin emerald green halter dress, that had a slight jewel band around the waist. ( https://i.pinimg.com/564x/ab/95/5f/ab955f8ef025b4e8efa5d167553b4ead.jpg ) Having the same mask from the night before still from Val and her date, ( https://i.etsystatic.com/5689275/r/il/7c14d4/416992672/il_794xN.416992672_o33x.jpg ) And had put it on her face. Not really caring that she had no make up on. Not like she needed it either. Having her locket peeked inside chest line and hide the charm on the golden chain. Deciding to be barefoot, it was much more comfortable that way. Grabbing her phone and slipped it beside the zipper side of her dress to have a place for it since she didn't bring her bag with her. Having her caramel strands hanging against her shoulders while her light brown eyes followed the path to Three Muses and went into the establishment. Her scent was masked since she didn't wish to be found so easily. It was more fun to make it a chase.
  6.
  7. Jamie: Jamie looked around the place and nodded. It was fancy, that's for sure. Certainly different from what he normally would see at a party. Not that he ever went to outlandish and crazy parties like this one. The ones he was used to, more formal. Black tie, cocktail gowns for the ladies.. Maybe something more for the ones that liked going all out. He was happy though, to get out for a while. Maybe meet some people that lived around here. Not that he was going to go out of his way to shove himself in people's way. That would be uncalled for. And not very flattering. He stayed in his corner, watching the people in the room, with a glass of champagne in his hand while the other stayed in his pocket. He had just happened to look towards the entrance when a woman entered. She was breathtaking. The way her dress flowed so easily on her body. The color of the dress, the dark emerald tone to it, it did wonders for her skin. He watched her. He was intrigued. He stayed in the darkened area of the corner, allowing the shadows to hide him. Hr didn't make a move, not yet. It wasn't the right time.
  8.
  9. Noemie: Taking note that the same man, she had followed, saw her but didn't engage in her. Quite the opposite actually. He stayed in the darkness and shadows that was the establishment. Taking a seat at a near by table next to a window and sighed to herself. Suddenly the female would get a text message from her phone. Yipping softly to herself and pulled her phone out near the zipper. Flipping it open, and read the message that wrote, 'I found a pack home, we are moving the pack tonight.' Soon finishing the message, a smile curled onto her lips. Finally a home. No more living out of her truck, no more being in trees. She could finally establish a bed, and a room to call her own. Putting the phone back into her dress after writing back, 'I'm at the Three muses, none of the pack is here aside from me. Do you wish to meet me here, or do you want to meet somewhere else?' Finding what seemed like a bartender around, she'd order herself a tumbler of whiskey with two rocks as usual, like she would at Regan's. Before its name was switched. Using her telepathy to speak to the man that she was following, "I'll probably be leaving soon, to go to my packs new home, if you wish to follow then go right ahead. We are kind, so don't cause any trouble. Oh, and I'm Noemie." Once the whiskey was brought to her, she sipped on it to savor it's taste.
  10.
  11. Jacques: It was over. The land was beautiful. One of a kind. To the outskirts were the woods, untouched and dense, full of livestock. The water was nearby as well, great for fish and an occasional swim. The land was quite flat, therefore it was almost ready to be built on. Jac envisioned a large mansion with many rooms but was not sure how many stories. Under the mansion would be another underground meeting place, bar perhaps, gym and training ground for new pack members trying to harness their power. It was going to be both posh and functional. That's what this pack deserves. He wasn't short on money therefore he wanted to give them a proper place to dwell not that they are in New Orleans. Of course, these were just plans of his that he was going to bring up to the rest of the pack once he has gathered them there. He had not seen anyone lately, aside from Gis, making sure she was ok. He knew Noemie was out travelling elsewhere so he sent her a message first. He did not recognize the place she spoke of but he replied with 'meet you there, I'll find it.' He'd summon his sleek black Tesla before racing back towards the popular strip in New Orleans. He had only ever spent time in the pub. Jac pulled up his phone and sent a message to the pack members to meet him and Noemie at said area. He wasn't going to make the move until everyone was in the same page. The tyres from his Tesla screeched as he cut corners. Wearing a black jumper and dark grey denim jeans along with white sneakers, he'd check his phone for any replies.
  12.
  13. Alyissa: Alyissa hand't been in New Orleans in awhile. She had left to catch some 'air' as she had put it, only every checking in with Noemie every once in awhile. Just to see how things were going. But other than that, she had fallen out of contact with everyone. Just to get her mind together. To... She honestly didn't know. She just knew that she needed to get out. At least, for a while so she could get rid of the overwhelming feeling that would constantly wash over her and never seem to go away. But she was back in town, and a little birdy had told her that there was a ball going on. Seemed like a good time as any to drop in and have a little fun. See who was there. All the good stuff. So she that was where she found herself. Sitting in her hotel room, staring at herself as she slipped on the dress she bought last minute. It was almost like two pieces of the dress.. But the dress part was connected to the top. And the bottoms... Well they almost looked like a pair of panties. It gave that illusion, anyways. She stood and smoothed out the dress, her fingers running over the bead worked as she smiled to herself. Hair loose and curling down her back. No real make-up save for some red lipstick and mascara. ( images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com (hover) ) She slipped on her mask, the bead work almost matching the one on her dress. She pursed her lips, admiring herself before turning away and leaving her room, heading down stairs and out the lobby doors towards the Three Muses. ( cdn.shopify.com) She took her time. She was in a relative good mood, and her mood was even more lifted when she arrived. Spotting one or maybe two people that she didn't know, she managed to catch sight of Nomie sitting at a table, alone. Unaware that someone else was watching her. She made her way over, her heels making little noise on the concrete floor.
  14.
  15. Jamie: Jamie's gaze never wavered from the exotic looking woman. Not even when another person came through and walked right over to the female in question. He watched as she pulled out her phone and started to text on it, the sound she made causing him smile. Just a mere twinge of his mouth. He found her very interesting. Though that had not spotted each other, her voice sounded in his mind. It was like she was standing there in the shadows, speaking to him. 'I'll probably be leaving soon, to go to my packs new home, if you wish to follow then go right ahead. We are kind, so don't cause any trouble. Oh, and I'm Noemie.' He tasted her name on his lips before speaking. It wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear. He just wanted wanted to know how it would feel. Saying her name. "Noemie..." The way it sounded to his ears... It sounded like heaven to him. He continued to watch her, and the woman that was approaching her. Though he said nothing and was still in the corner, the light and the shadows casting a contrast on his frame. He waited. Not sure what to say. But started with something simple, in the end. 'A pleasure Noemie. You can call me Jamie.' was his reply to her words after a moment. Though not spoken aloud, she would be able to hear the accent in his words, echo around in her mind.
  16.
  17. Noemie: She felt her phone ding again, she'd pull her phone out and reply back to her alpha's message. 'Alright, sending address.' Once she sent it to him, she'd replace it in her dress and continued sipping on her drink. Once she heard heels clicking near her, she'd turn her head to see Alyissa, knowing her scent anywhere and the only one that she kept in contact with aside from Jacques. Getting up from her seat and went to her with that same smile. "My forever beta..." Practically tackle hugging the women and held her closely to her own form. The one women she missed the most from the pack, aside from her alpha. In all honesty, the she wolf had been broken, even more than missing Colt, with Aly gone. Slightly gasping quickly once she heard the voice in her mind of the male that she had kept a close eye, and there was a very faint rose tint on her cheeks listening to his British accent echoing in her mind. "As you wish, Jamie." Replying back to him and had that smile hint in her voice.
  18.
  19. Jacques Blackwater: ♚ He was about twenty minutes away from the address Noemie had sent him. Programming it on his car navigation system, he'd step on the gas as he raced through the highway. It was a great city, but he missed home. Jac often wondered about the North and how they were going without him. He sent the message not only to the hunters and other pack members he made here, but to the rest up north. Jac planned for them to migrate out of the harsh cold conditions that they lived in, into the land that he had prepared for the pack. Checking his rear view mirror, he'd notice some cars keeping up with him. Upon closing into him, he'd recognize the scent of his hunters. 'Hopefully this meeting place had enough space to fit us all into.' he used telepathy to send to Noemie. He was keen to move them all tonight. To their new place, where they would thrive as a pack and logistics can be up and running again. He owed them that much. He also messaged Gis as he sped through the exit of the highway. The cars would race through the intersection, only ten minutes away from their destination.
  20.
  21. Alyissa: Before she even got a chance to say anything, she watched as Nomie turned around and practically tackles her to the ground with a hug, her own arms wrapping around the female's small form. Returning the hug tightly. She smiled down at the woman and held her close. "I missed you too Noemie." And she had. She had missed the female more than she could say. It had been too long since she had last seen her... And she felt horrible for leaving the woman alone.. Even though she knew that she was still in the very pack she left all those months ago. She tried to keep her emotions in check, try not to cry. But she ended up sniffling. She pulled back from the woman and gave her a genuine sweet smile, releasing her and holding her at arms length to get a good look at her. " You look amazing sweetie.." She led Noemie back over to her table and took a seat, grabbing a glass of champagne before sitting down. She looked around the place and nodded her head, spotting a pair of glowing eyes in the shadows before looking back at Noemie. Grabbing her hand, she motioned to the very corner with a tilt of her head. "Someone has an admirer of some kind..."
  22.
  23. Jamie: Jamie couldn't help but chuckle at her. She was something else entirely. He watched as Noemie almost tackled the woman that walked by, catching the words ..."beta..." at the last second. He rose a brow and glanced at the other woman. She was a beta? 'Hmm... Interesting..' he thought, watching the exchange. Noemie seemed exceptionally happy to see the lady in question. He gazed around the room. It seemed fairly empty for a ball. The music was playing yet no one was dancing. Maybe he should change that. Looking down at his glass, he saw that it was almost empty. To either dance... or to get another drink and linger around, watching the room. His gaze always came back to Noemie though. He was captivated by her. Even as she sat there talking to her lady friend... Her beta it seemed.
  24. Her response still echoed in his mind, his mind trying to picture her smile. And it was nothing compared to what he saw. He was about to move, growing a pair and going to walk over to her and asking her to dance. But he stopped in his movement when he say that the other woman was looking over in his direction and smiling. He rose a brow, even if she couldn't see it. But he kept moving. Out of the shadows and into the light, an empty glass in one hand and his other in his pocket. Dusting off the front of his shirt with his now free hand, having put the glass down at a nearby table; he made his way over the only occupied table and held his left hand, his calloused palm up and facing her. "Care to join me for a dance?" He asked Noemie, a smile playing his lips as he waited for her answer.
  25.
  26. Giselle: With her gaze cast down to her phone she would loft a brow. Where in the world was this place? Oi, she was going to end up lost. With her phone being shoved into the back pocket of her black skinny jeans; hurrying out of the little cafe' she had found herself in. Luckily she hadn't forgotten the vanilla latte' she had ordered just minutes prior to getting a text from Jaq with the address on where to meet. With wavy tresses cascading down passed her shoulders, swaying with the movement she made at a fairly fast pace; surprised that the Three Muses was so close to where she had been just moments ago. All in all she didn't need a vehicle to get there. With her arrival, her hand reaching out to snag the knob, pulling the door open and stepping in, she would breathe in lightly. Air conditioning. It felt so nice compared to outside where it was a bit hot and muggy.
  27.
  28. Stephen: 'I'm coming. Check your rear view mirror here in a few minutes or so.' That was the response he gave to Jac's group message, and after a few or so minutes, there was the familiar roar of Stephen's 2011 Black Dodge Challenger engine that was probably the loudest out of all the other car sounds that were nearby, specifically 'cause he was going equally as fast as the others were, even if he was somehow lagging a little bit behind. Yes, he had been a little late leaving the area he was in, but that was thanks to stupid New Orleans traffic. Wearing just a simple black Champion hoodie with a muscle shirt underneath it and a pair of Under Armour black Sweatpants with white Nikes, he practically screamed past the intersection that they had just crossed, all four tires jumped off the ground for a brief moment before landing back onto the ground as he kept moving. As he approached the line of cars, the other members, who appeared to be the Hunters of the pack, saw him approaching, they veered off to the side a little to give him a clear lane to pass as he approached behind Jac. Making sure not to be too close, but close enough to where he could easily follow him, he gave a little smile as they traveled along the road, the other cars behind them forming back into the line they had initially formed. 'Feels great to ride alongside you, Jac..' He thought to himself, keeping pace behind him for the time being as they raced towards the destination.-d-
  29.
  30. Noemie: Listening to Jacques and sighed to herself. 'I'm sure we do. It's a large establishment. Even so, we can all talk in the forest if need be.'She was unsure what her alpha had met by that but made sure to stay alert in case chaos was to enter. She had hoped there were no hunters or any conflict were to happen but she would be ready. Once looking back at her beta and heard the sniffle. She'd smile still and rub her cheek caringly, to assure her things were going to be okay. "Thank you Aly." Following the women to a table and took a seat with her whiskey. Once they were seated, the she wolf nodded while her hand was grabbed by the other. Acknowledging that Jamie was looking at her and that she had an admirer of sorts, the smile turned into a smirk and giggled a little. "I know, speaking telepathically, he says his name is Jamie. Seems rather reserved." Even though she didn't wish him to be reserved, the women kept her gaze on the other lady. "He's rather..." Pausing and turning her view to that very man once a hand was offered. Being thrown off a tad and heard his question, for a brief moment she was speechless. A handsome man actually asked her to dance. Noemie's copper irises pierced into the males, while her breathe slightly picked up due to being nervous. Taking his hand, she would lift herself from her seat and went towards him. Once she was out of the seat, she'd look at Alyissa and speak through telepathy the rest of her sentence before being interrupted, 'He's rather a mystery.' Fixing her view to Jamie and gave a small smile. "I would like that."
  31.
  32. Jacques: ♚ The speed of their cars would cause a lot of attention, but they were nearing their destination. The hunters went ahead as per protocol to clear the way out and Stephen stayed close riding alongside Jac. 'Good to have you here. You'd love the place.' he send telepathically to him as they slowed down. The cars reached the outside of the area and the hunters were already positioned by the car park and the entrance of the Three Muses. "Hmm yeah not bad.", Jac thought to himself. The doors of the black Tesla opened as he ordered two hunters nearby to look out for Gis and escort her here safely. She was nearby. He could feel it. The hunters went along as Jac closed the door behind him, fixing his casual black jumper before turning to see Stephen approach in his Dodge Challenger. "Kid's got good taste" , he thought to himself as he nodded in his direction, acknowledging his effort to catch up and be on time. Jac knew Noemie was already in there so he signalled for his hunters to walk in before heading in himself. Jac only ever visited Ryan's Pub but he didn't really have time to check out the other cool places his hunters rave on about. Looking at his watch before scanning the area, he took notice of Noemie and what looked to be Alyissa as well as another individual. He would whisper in a hunter's ear before he ran off. Jac closed his eyes and connected to everyone telepathically. This wasn't something to be broadcasted out loud, not here at least, he respected the place enough to host a bunch of wolves. His stomach growled a little, a hunt wouldn't be too bad right now he thought to himself, forgetting he was connected telepathically with everyone.
  33.
  34. Daci: The former Alpha of the Vieux Carre pack was no less former as she was Alpha and as much, she was aware of a number of things. Despite the ball and it's subsequent chaos she had shifted and darted off toward the woods that surrounded the City. It was with ears pinned back and nostrils flared that she inched close to the treeline to gauge and listen. To hear what might be a problem and what might be a hinderance. Black fur rippled in the wind, the gentle breeze blew across her back while topaz hues peered to see far beyond. The Three Muses where the Ball was occurring was a source of contention with the woman. It irked her and forced the beast within to rise and oh how it prowled. She was not Pack anymore though. Not subject to their rules or emotions - she was a Rogue and could do what it took to fill that aching need for blood. Vengence was her name and it was with some regard she knew Colt had been the right Wolf for the job. Learning his secret, understanding the man had given her insight into the Wolf and that was key. He was the best choice to watch over those she cared for while she, fought the battle and would ensure their freedom. As a wolf, she would lay in wait, bite when it was necessary and then let it bleed slowly until it could bleed no more. For that was the way of her kind. It was the way of the Wolf.
  35.
  36. Alyissa: Alyissa rose a brow and smiled. "Well, he is certainly easy on the eyes. That's for sure.." She watched with some amusement as this... Jamie stepped from the shadows. She gave a once over and nodded, her gaze going back to Noemie. "Well, Noemie. You would be to if you were in a possibly unfamiliar place. Surrounded by people you do not know. Where two packs currently. reside and not seeing hide nor hair of them. Wait till he gets a hold of that.." She sighed... Probably not the best time to bring up the pack.. Her old pack.. She missed it. Being apart of something. Little did she know. The hairs on the back of her neck and arms stood up. Looking up she saw a bunch of hunters stand around the outside of the Three Muses. She saw Jacques. She saw Giselle. And she could bet anything that Stephen was right behind them. She didn't see him, but she got this feeling that he was nearby. She felt odd, seeing them all again. That wasn't to say that he didn't miss any of them when she left. She had her reasons. But that was the least of her concerns. Sitting there with all of them standing in the room, and her being the only one left out. Save for Noemie's new mysterious friend, Jamie. Nothing was worse than seeing people that she considered family standing there, and her feeling like a stranger, like a outsider who didn't belong anywhere. She got to her feet and stepped back from the table, leaning away. It was different this time. And she didn't like it.
