  1. In orthodox theology, the ordo theologiae has as the head of the hierarchy, that which we would call Person, followed by Essence and the other elemente of the Godhead ( attributes, energies, will, etc. ). With this mind, the moment of conception of man in the christian genesis states that man was made in the image of God - " Let us make man in Our image " - which shows us that, the order and fundamental structure of a human being starts also with something that could be called Person, for which I am going to argue.
  2.
  3. Let us consider the act of depersonalization and its effects of human consciousness. What happens is that, by letting the sense data be undefined by not applying THOUGHT on it, we get to a state of abnormality and uncomfortableness due to how unnatural it is. Yet, this would be the force, or name it for the case BRUTE CONSCIOUSNESS, that every living being partakes of, as in animals and human beings. In this sense, animals are also conscious, and this is the basis for sentience - BRUTE CONSCIOUSNESS, or SELF IDENTIFICATION. When it comes to human beings, we have a special property, that amplifies and makes emphasis of the speciality of PERSONÁ, a new word for our system. In that sense, Personá is therefore the "force" that lets us be reasonable, have thoughts, and have reflection both of the external world and of the internal being.
  4. Ergo, every living being, insects included, that would have, to say, a function of something as a brain, have the BRUTE CONSCIOUSNESS basis for life, including humans, only that the effects of PERSONÁ are special and UNIQUE, just as the Bible states. Therefore, human consciousness is not the brute part of consciousness, that every living being disposes of, but the speciality of Personá, that could be hardly related to the Person idea of the Godhead.
  5. Personá therefore IS that which we call consciousness - that which allows us to have reflective thoughts of that which exists, reason, idea of sentiment and expression, the basis for our capability to enjoy arts. But, Personá is something special in the universe - so you could argue for no God, but you still have to accept the complexity of Personá and what it gives to human beings.
  6. Thought, as it is, can be expressed or rather develops Personá, and so a baby slowly is being sort of enhypostatized - disposes of Personá - slowlier and slowlier, through that which is LANGUAGE or WORD or LOGOS. This is why the Word is God - language is of GOD, not only in the sense of basic words like tree or image, but also that which helps the Personá to be able to refine thought, making the case for any type of language in human beings - verbal or non verbal ( deaf people ). Personá is so in a process of symbiosis with language, as in they both complete one another and are also, both of em, dependent on God's providence.
