- GV3 demo report (1/2)
- Y is sword, B is jump, R is talismans
- If you get the talismans to multi-hit, the marker's color changes from yellow to red
- When it's red, there's no contact damage
- Currently, when you bump into a foe, the Kudos will momentarily remain as they are (for 3 seconds, aprox?) but they won't reset to 0; whether this will remain as it is, it's unknown
- The foes don't get stunned as they were in the trailer
- The sword can make up to 3 slashes, but there's a bit of lag before the 3rd slash is complete (since she makes a huge swing)
- There are two stages in the demo: "winter Christmas" and "oil refinery" (if I remember right)
- The first one is the one in the trailer, and the latter seems to be the one being made in the Aizu + Tsuda livestream
- Many choose to play the winter stage, obviously enough.
- The stage has soldiers, dogs, hover robots, totem poles, big robots
- The dogs are like the ones in the Zero 1 factory stage
- The big robots are as big as the flame thrower robot from GV1, and they attack by charging at you and mowing down with the sword
- The totem poles are like the things in Z1 that re-spawn endlessly, or the GV1 shutters; obstacles to hinder your path
- The boss is the scythes boss shown in the livestream, and the bike is part of his sure-kill move
- In terms of image, guess it's close to Gibril or the bat (Hellbat Schilt) from Zero 3? It tends to stay in the air
- At first it flies outside the screen but it's too high for attacks to hit it
- Attack patterns are below:
- . Stays at mid height in a corner of the screen, infuses bits with grim reaper aura and directly attacks the middle or lower rows of the screen
- They probably can be guided by the player, and can be avoided by jump. Maybe they cannot be destroyed?
- After attacking, if it's to the right, it thrusts to the left and below, and viceversa
- . Appears from the top in the middle of the screen, deploys bits (they hurt when hitting them), covers them in air, and they track you
- Their path feels like the Plasma Legion-like thing of the trailer, bullets shot at your, and can be bounced back with the sword before they hit the ground, when they do they generate aura for a moment (hurts when hitting it)
- . Moves from left to right or viceversa while being in the upper zone of the screen, tosses 6 auras during that, can be bounced back
- . Thrusts to lower right, lower left, right or left from the middle or bottom row of the screen; lands in either of these 4 spots, and throws scythes horizontally
- In terms of image, the mantis (Deathtanz Mantisk) from Zero 3 is closer, I guess?
- Once you trim down 2/3 of the health bar, it uses its "Death Procession" move; it uses a drawing and verse like in GV1
- The verse reads "the co-stared banquet (scythes are) / cannot be resisted / (was unable to read the rest)"
- Warps while targeting the player, and then rotates the scythes once (as seen in the livestream), repeats that 3 times, then summons a bike in middle row of the screen and moves horizontally to outside the screen
- It reappears from the direction it disappeared, can be avoided by jumping
- Report on the other stage will be coming once it's done.
