Vanilla FM route changes (March 2022)

To be used for sub-3:20 attempts, and especially sub-2:45 attempts.

1. Take more Raigeki decks, reset more Dark Hole decks
2. Leave Rex at 5/4 or a very strong 4/4
3. If at 4/4, generally buy Wicked Dragon first instead of LaLa Li-Oon
4. If going for a good WR time, generally blitz to Meadow with 11 dragons/thunders/fields (6/5/0, 6/4/1, 5/5/1, or 5/4/2). If deck lacks dragons/females/rocks, farm Isis to get deck ready for Meadow
5. If you win a 2nd equip and you have time to continue farming, generally farm Meadow Mage if you can A-POW him 55% of the time. With many decks, Meadow is even better than A-TECs!

Rationale (#1-4): A time of 2:20-2:30 is significantly more valuable than a time of 2:40-2:50, and the former becomes possible with an early MBD drop. Farming Rex for longer allows you to leave Farm 2 earlier on average if you win an early equip. Also, 5 dragons makes the rest of the game so much faster for some reason (cleaner duels, faster duels, more star chips, fewer deaths, fewer dragon walls).

Another way to look at this is "The fastest way to beat the game is to win an early MBD from Meadow Mage. It is not reasonable to farm Meadow Mage with fewer than 11 dragons/thunders/Umi/Mountain. The fastest way to obtain 11 dragons/thunders/Umi/Mountain AND unlock Meadow Mage is to farm Rex until you have roughly 5/4."

Rationale (#5): 2-equip decks don't get a lot better with a 3rd equip drop, since your monster count is too low to fully take advantage of the 3rd equip. 2-equip decks often just need Umi to move on. Umi can be purchased quickly using the extra star chips from Meadow farming (only slightly slower on average than farming Isis for it). 2-equip decks also benefit tremendously from MBD, and they work well with big dragons such as Curse of Dragon when you draw both equips.
