  1. Djoric Like, consider it
  2. 23:10 Zolgamax I thought you were saying "Do Not Mention".
  3. 23:10 Djoric the Overseers have never interacted with a scip
  4. 23:10 KateMcTiriss little safe-class curiosities that mostly contain themselves, requiring a little bit of staff time
  5. 23:10 Zolgamax Which would've been odd.
  6. 23:11 Reject so the Foundation ought not to let infohazards run around documentations in case there was a second thing involved
  7. 23:11 Djoric how many directors have never been in direct contact?
  8. 23:11 Djoric how many of the higher ups have completely removed themselves from the actual meat of the job?
  9. 23:11 Roget Djoric: wow
  10. 23:11 KateMcTiriss is concurring heartily
  11. 23:11 Roget that's actually really interesting
  12. 23:11 Roget I've never thought of it that wat
  13. 23:11 Roget way
  14. 23:12 Roget but that might be why they'd risk having people exposed to anomalies
  15. 23:12 Roget because the alternative is people in the bubble
  16. 23:12 Djoric And they don't know
  17. 23:12 Djoric as information gets passed up the food chain
  18. 23:12 Djoric it gets changed
  19. 23:12 Djoric so as not to "burst the bubble"
  20. 23:12 Djoric someone learns how to fly using nothing but fish?
  21. 23:13 Djoric classify them as a Serpent's Hand eco-terrorist
  22. 23:13 Djoric label them CI
  23. 23:13 Djoric do anything you can to make sure that you /don't pop the bubble/
  24. 23:13 Riemann pops the bubble
  25. 23:13 KateMcTiriss Right! People portray foundation employees as these perfect automatons but, Christ, these people have lives too. They want to finish the giant inbox, report to Regional and go home to get ready for their date or their one night of drinking all week
  26. 23:13 Zolgamax Dangit, Riemann.
  27. 23:13 Roget Djoric: http://pastebin.com/5e5Ghz6B
  28. 23:13 Riemann muuuhahahahaha
  29. 23:13 --- Zolgamax is away (???)
  30. 23:14 *** djkaktus joined #rogetbox
  31. 23:14 +++ ChanServ has given op to djkaktus
  32. 23:14 --- Zolgamax is away (Fixing the bubble.)
  33. 23:14 KateMcTiriss howdy kaktus!
  34. 23:14 Djoric Roget: is this trying to say that the bubble exists or does not exist with the overseers
  35. 23:14 Djoric because if it says that they don't exist, I ain't buying it
  36. 23:15 Roget it exists less with people who have interacted with scips
  37. 23:15 Roget this is just a seed here
  38. 23:15 djkaktus Hey girl
  39. 23:15 Roget but I want to make your idea into a tale here
  40. 23:15 *** Vince quit (Quit: bedtime)
  41. 23:15 Djoric Indeed
  42. 23:15 Djoric But yeah, I would imagine that the Overseers are completely divorced from reality
  43. 23:15 Djoric they still think its the cold war
  44. 23:15 Djoric they're still using cold war strategies
  45. 23:16 KateMcTiriss i’m about to get into a part of my headcanon that I’ll probably *never* get to writing about
  46. 23:16 Djoric still using cold war logistics
  47. 23:16 Djoric KateMcTiriss: can't be any worse than mine. My headcanon is enough for a novel series
  48. 23:16 KateMcTiriss but i see O5’s as real world notable figures — retired Senators, university presidents emeritus, UN chairs
  49. 23:16 djkaktus Djoric: so I'm working on a thing
  50. 23:16 KateMcTiriss Like, Al Gore is O5-6 in my world
  51. 23:16 djkaktus Speaking of O5s being divorced from reality
  52. 23:17 Djoric Mmm
  53. 23:17 Roget KateMcTiriss: in my headcanon, JFK is 05-6. The assasination was his cover
  54. 23:17 Djoric I don't
  55. 23:17 djkaktus http://scpsandbox2.wikidot.com/djkaktusiv
  56. 23:17 KateMcTiriss Roget: marry me
  57. 23:17 Roget I also think Stalin is an 05
  58. 23:17 Roget :D
  59. 23:17 djkaktus Roget no Stalin is u
  60. 23:17 Djoric same with say, the 36
  61. 23:17 Djoric except one
  62. 23:17 Djoric the only Thirty Sixer who was a real person was Mister Rogers
  63. 23:17 Riemann o:
  64. 23:17 djkaktus Hah
  65.
  66. Have you ever heard about the bubble? It's a phrase used by democratic leaders, mostly because they're the ones who have to answer to people. When you're cut off from your constituants, surrounded by the yes-men and lackeys in politics, you get further and further disconnected from the reality of the world, until you end up with people like Nixon who aren't in it for what the job is there for. They just want power.
  67.
  68. We don't need tricky dicks in Overwatch Command.
