Sracri decides to follow him, donning his hat again in the process.

DM_TZIVOS: Before you can begin to follow him, two knives sail right past your head, one of them just barely missing you by a few inches

DM_TZIVOS: you can hear someone cursing under their breath behind you

Sracri turns around, and pulls out his shotgun.

Sracri: "*I*'M SORRY, D*I*D *I* MOVE OUT OF THE W@Y?!"

DM_TZIVOS: You turn around to the startled face of an assassin wearing very dark clothing, holding a variety of knives in their hands

DM_TZIVOS: roll initiative

Sracri rolls 1d20+3 = 15

DM_TZIVOS rolls d20+3 = 19

DM_TZIVOS: The assassin makes the first move and tries throwing another knife at you

DM_TZIVOS rolls d20 = 18

Sracri: Hit.

DM_TZIVOS rolls d4+2 = 5

DM_TZIVOS: he follows it up with a second knife

DM_TZIVOS rolls d20 = 5

DM_TZIVOS: but his shot goes wide

DM_TZIVOS: he backs up 10 feet

DM_TZIVOS: your turn

Sracri: "WELL DON'T YOU TH*I*NK TH@T W@S @ L*I*TTLE RUDE?!"

DM_TZIVOS: he remains silent

Sracri: "*I*F YOU'RE GO*I*NG TO K*I*LL ME, @T LE@ST DO *I*T R*I*GHT!"

Sracri steps into range, and fires his shotgun.

Sracri rolls 1d20+5 = 9

DM_TZIVOS: miss

Sracri: Nuts.

Sracri: Wait.

Sracri: That's below a 5.

Sracri: The gun explodes and Sracri takes Td4 damage.

Sracri rolls 1d4 = 2

Sracri: Minor action to reload, end turn.

DM_TZIVOS: some of the debris from the scrapshotgun's misfire hits the assassin and he recoils slightly before throwing another knife

DM_TZIVOS rolls d20 = 16

DM_TZIVOS rolls d4+2 = 3

Sracri: "H@H@H@ TH@T W@S GRE@T!"

DM_TZIVOS: he decides to back up 15 feet this time, into the slightly more open space outside the tent

DM_TZIVOS: your turn

Sracri: "@W C'MON, KEEP PL@Y*I*NG!"

Sracri rolls 1d20+5 = 19

DM_TZIVOS: hit

Sracri rolls 1d10+3 = 11

DM_TZIVOS: all it takes is a single shot to bring the assassin down

Sracri: "SEE HOW FUN TH*I*S *I*S?!"

DM_TZIVOS: the shot hits him head-on and leaves a plethora of holes in his torso

DM_TZIVOS: gain 20 exp

Sracri: "*I*'M H@V*I*NG @ BL@ST!"
