- [12:36 PM] Soro [DM]: You soar up, through your seventh gate.
- Going through it, you land on soft, grassy ground, looking forwards at a small, almost unperceivable crack left in the ground, chains anchored on each side of it.
- Confused consorts and underlings alike are standing around it, letting go of the chain.
- It's raining.
- "This is it. The last crack left in the world, our last chance to get inside."
- Are you ready? This is it.

- YouTube
- Jonny Atma
- Dark Pit (Kid Icarus: Uprising) - GaMetal
- [12:36 PM] Soro [DM]: @Eon [Johnny/G]
- [12:45 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "let's do this," you both say in sync before jumping into the cave
- [1:03 PM] Soro [DM]: The three of you approach the crack. It's so small, you're not sure how you're going to get in there.
- As you near it, a holographic image of a dark-skinned man wearing a suit pops up.
- "If this is coming up, I assume you are the Sylph, and my containment for the banished god is close to failing."
- "You were not meant to be in the Medium, and so it came to my surprise when you inherited my prison as a la-"
- His form distorts as a knife is slashed through him, and it disperses.
- Hermes shrugs, then puts his knife away.
- "Sorry. That guy was a bastard."
- "Anyways, your aspect powers are going to have a lot more hold here. If we turn into wind, we should be able to fit through there pretty easily."
- [1:06 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "So guessing that was Gordion," G looks back to where the hologram was "yeah he looks like a bastard"
- "Hermes, i understand your feelings towards him but it would be best to have all the knowledge we can. we trust you but we've also seen a lot of people pretend to be you recently" Johnny adds
- [1:07 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yeah, I guess."
- "Too late now. That guy can suck it."
- [1:08 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "true that" G says somewhat proudly, sibling pride
- "Fine, let's go" Johnny says accepting that reasoning
- you both haven't done this in a while but it should be a familiar feeling at least. you'll turn to wind and enter the crack
- [1:12 PM] Soro [DM]: The two of you turn into wind, Hermes following suit.
- You zip into the tiny crack, making your way down a small area that keeps narrowing, until suddenly widening to form a room, made of a weird blue-ish wood. The three of you turn back into humans.
- Whew. That was exhilarating.
- There is nothing in this room, except for a single door. The door is locked with a padlock, the handle absurdly thick. Looks like they didn't want you knocking it off? Psh, what was Gordion on, thinking this would stop you?
- [1:15 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "psh, what no boss key we gotta find or something."
- J: "Well we haven't tried picking a lock in a while so unless you have a better idea Hermes we'll just get to cracking it open"
- [1:15 PM] Soro [DM]: He shrugs.
- "Go ahead."
- [1:16 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Okay, time to try and crack this lock, shouldn't be too bad.

- [1:20 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "was just a hobby, related to a lot of puzzle stuff really"
- G: "also yadda yadda locking us in, it's in the past now"
- J: "come on, the door's open so let's get inside"
- you'll open the door and head on through
- [1:23 PM] Soro [DM]: You open the door, and head on through. On the other side is a large room, three creatures made of green scales and teeth and such crawling around inside. One of them has sharp claws, while the other two have heads like hammerhead sharks.

- The hammerhead falls into a pile.
- You won!
- Hermes sheathes his knives.
- "Yeah, there used to be an army of these things. Apparently Gordion stole some to act guard."
- There are two doors in here. One to the north, and one to the east.
- [2:00 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "Which way from here Hermes?"
- G: "you do know the way right?"
- [2:00 PM] Soro [DM]: "Not really. There used to be another way out from the prison, but it's not there anymore."
- [2:02 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G sighs
- J: "well that's fine, even if you can feel where the cage is the paths might not match"
- you'll head to the north door first
- [2:03 PM] Soro [DM]: You head into the north door.
- This room has four circular platforms, that look kind of like transportalizers, but slightly different. On the north wall, there are two doors, both without handles.
- [2:04 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "any idea?" G says looking to Hermes
- Johnny goes to look at the platforms for any clues as to what they might be, pedestals?
- [2:05 PM] Soro [DM]: "Maybe we each stand on one?"
- "But there are only three of us."
- [2:06 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny will go over to the doors, they have no handles but maybe they're just push doors?
- G: "i'm not even gonna question why there are puzzles here anymore, maybe we just gotta weigh them down with the scales?"
- [2:08 PM] Soro [DM]: "Let's try it."
- They're not push doors. Either that, or you're just super weak.
- [2:09 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G and Hermes will go into the previous room and collect the dropped scales to try and weigh down the platforms
- Johnny will test if weight is even a factor by placing an unlit bomb from his coat on one
- [2:11 PM] Soro [DM]: Weight doesn't appear to be a factor.
- However, as you step on one, it lights up with blue light. When you step off, it unlights.
- "Hm."
- "Were we supposed to be here with a fourth person?"
- [2:11 PM] Soro [DM]: "This is weird."
- [2:13 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Blue for me...
- J: "G, step on one"
- G: "i see where you're going"
- Johnny and G then step on and then off each platform separately to see if they get the same or different colour reactions
- [2:13 PM] Soro [DM]: They get the same color reactions.
- [2:14 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: so all blue no matter who?
- [2:14 PM] Soro [DM]: Correct.
- [2:15 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: and no reaction to dumping the scales on any?
- [2:15 PM] Soro [DM]: Right.
- :17 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "i'm not sure if we need a fourth, the only other one i can think of wouldn't be able to get in here through the crack"
- G: "actually Hermes, can't you just call up some of yourselves to help us out here?"
- [2:17 PM] Soro [DM]: "They're gathered at the prison right now. They might be able to backtrack?"
- "We should check out the other room while they figure out if they can do that, I guess."
- [2:18 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "Hopefully a clue in all this"
- J: "that is how this stuff usually works"
- you all backtrack and enter into the eastern room
- [2:19 PM] Soro [DM]: You head back and open the door into the eastern room.
- ...smog floats out from within. Screw this.
- [2:21 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: at this point you just bring out a spritzer bottle of the Water and start praying this stuff like an unruly cat
- [2:22 PM] Soro [DM]: You start spraying the fog. It's all gone within a few seconds.
- Heading into the room, the only thing of note here is a giant blob of minty green energy floating in air, bound in place by dark blue chains.
- "Oh yeah."
- "Whenever Gordion finds bits of me hanging around, he takes them. Guess this is where he puts their essence."
- [2:24 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "oh, so this should be our fourth then"
- G: "well guess we gotta break the chains, or like, slip them off of it?"
- you'll start to try and get the chains off of them
- [2:24 PM] Soro [DM]: How are you doing so?
- [2:25 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: how are the chains being bound up?
- honestly you could probably just slash them with the bond breaker, thing is strong
- [2:26 PM] Soro [DM]: ...yeah, you can just slash them with the Bond-Breaker.
- [2:26 PM] Soro [DM]: You slash the chains, and they fall off. The orb of essence flies into Hermes, who seems to... you don't know. It's like he's glowing brighter, but it's not visible on a visible level.
- [2:26 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yeah. I feel more full now."
- [2:26 PM] Soro [DM]: "You could probably... split me? I guess?"
- [2:28 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J/G: "but how though?" you both say tilting your head to the same side
- [2:29 PM] Soro [DM]: "Using your powers."
- [2:30 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "phew, thought you meant with the sword!"
- J: "that's kind of a new thing for us but, guess we can try it"

- Hermes 1 dashes up to the Talon, and starts attacking!
- [2:51 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+12
- [2:51 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+12 = (1)+12 = 13
- [2:51 PM] Soro [DM]: He trips halfway there, and gets up.
- The other one laughs at him.
- [2:52 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G wipes a tear of pride
- Johnny is confused again
- [2:52 PM] Soro [DM]: The blob points one of its remaining blobs at you, and it explodes, filling the room with a blue flash.
- [2:52 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+13
- [2:52 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+13 = (12)+13 = 25

- [2:52 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 2d12+9 = (1+1)+9 = 11
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: It sears your skin, but you manage to endure through it, only taking 11 damage.
- [2:53 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: (which me?)
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: (All of the above. It hit the whole room)
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: The Talon also laughs at Hermes. By trying to stab him.
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+13
- [2:53 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+13 = (11)+13 = 24

- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: Hermes takes 29 damage, but doesn't seem to bothered.
- "Shut up."
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: The second Hermes charges towards the blob.
- [2:53 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+12
- [2:54 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+12 = (2)+12 = 14
- [2:54 PM] Soro [DM]: He also misses. He doesn't trip, though, much to his relief.
- [2:54 PM] Soro [DM]: You're up!
- [2:55 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "guess they're still learning their footing?"
- G: "hope we didn't give them each other's foot"
- [2:55 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 2d20 #+14 Lotus (d10) Target Blob

- [2:55 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Eon [Johnny/G]: 5d10 = (6+8+4+9+1) = 28
- [2:56 PM] Soro [DM]: The blob sheds a few scales, wobbling dangerously. It's about to die, you think.
- [2:56 PM] Soro [DM]: Anything else?
- [2:56 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: nop
- [2:56 PM] Soro [DM]: Hermes 1 stabs at the Talon.

- [2:56 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+12 = (4)+12 = 16
- [2:57 PM] Soro [DM]: The Talon sits there and takes it.
- "You stupid thing, just die!"
- [2:57 PM] Soro [DM]: The blob pops two, shooting a volley of scales at both Johnny and Hermes 2.
- [2:57 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+13

- [2:57 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 2d8+9 = (3+4)+9 = 16
- [2:57 PM] Soro [DM]: He takes 16 damage. Not much, really.
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: The Talon continues trying to get Hermes 1.
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+13
- [2:58 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Soro [DM]: 1d20+13 = (4)+13 = 17
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: And misses.
- "Yeah, screw you!"
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: Hermes 2 tries to finish off the blob!
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+12

- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: The blob falls to the ground, and starts glowing.
- "And see, this is why these ones suck."
- [2:58 PM] Soro [DM]: You're up!
- [2:59 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: back up from the glowing blob now
- "Yeah..." you both say before attacking the talon
- [2:59 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 2d20 #+14 (d12)

- [3:01 PM] Soro [DM]: Anything else?
- [3:01 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: moved already so nop
- [3:02 PM] Soro [DM]: Hermes 1 tries to continue the beatdown on the Talon.
- [3:02 PM] Soro [DM]: /r 1d20+12

- [3:03 PM] Soro [DM]: Take 27 damage as it self-destructs.
- [3:03 PM] Soro [DM]: The Talon takes this damage as well, and crumbles into a pile of scales.
- "Oh."
- There's a door to the north, and one to the west.
- [3:06 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "Ow,"
- J: "you can say that ag-" "Ow" G interrupts
- J: "we're still fine, west probably is a good start if east was needed last time to progress"
- G: "damn you and your logic"
- West door it is
- [3:07 PM] Soro [DM]: You head west.
- This is a longer room, with another essence chained up at the end, alongside two of those circular platforms.
- ...hm. Roll PERCEPTION, there's no way there aren't any traps.
- [3:08 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 2d20k1+12 # minimum 8

- [3:09 PM] Soro [DM]: Yeah, there's an arrow trap on the way. It's not all to hard to just go around it, though.
- [3:09 PM] Soro [DM]: eon why do you crit so much
- [3:09 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: i'm rolling more dice than normal?
- [3:09 PM] Soro [DM]: okay but still
- [3:10 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: is the arrow trap like, a hole?
- cause if so G's just gonna stick a stick in it
- where'd he get a stick? Checkered Drake
- [3:10 PM] Soro [DM]: Yeah, a few holes in the wall.
- a ten foot pole would very much work
- [3:10 PM] Soro [DM]: You stick them full of sticks. Take that, dungeon designer!
- [3:13 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: well time to cut the essence free!
- [3:14 PM] Soro [DM]: You cut the essence free, and it flows into Hermes 1.
- "Time to split again?"
- [3:14 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "Yup!" You both say with a bit too much glee
- [3:14 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 1d20+24
- [3:14 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Eon [Johnny/G]: 1d20+24 = (10)+24 = 34
- [3:14 PM] Soro [DM]: You split him apart.
- There are three Hermes now.
- "Huh."
- "Huh."
- "Huh."
- 3:15 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "and only two platforms?"
- no door in here right?
- [3:15 PM] Soro [DM]: Correct.
- [3:17 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "we'll come back once we have an idea what these are for, probably a door up ahead"
- okay, you'll head back and through the north door on this left path
- [3:18 PM] Soro [DM]: You head through the north door.
- There are two doors on the south wall, one of which you just came through, along with one on the east wall. That one's locked.
- There are also six platforms in this room.
- [3:19 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: six here, 2 to west
- J: "let's circle back and check the right side, see what we can work with"
- you'll do just that, circling back around to the start of the right path
- [3:20 PM] Soro [DM]: You circle back to the right path. This room has two doors, one in the north, and one to the east. The one to the east is locked, and you suspect the one to north leads back into the six platforms room.
- [3:22 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "yeah i think i got this place figured out, Hermthrees you stay here,"
- J: "we're doing the west platforms"
- you'll go and stand on those platforms and await the arrow traps to all fail
- [3:23 PM] Soro [DM]: You go and stand on the west platforms.
- Nothing happens, that you are aware of.
- [3:24 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: you'll head back to the right path room and check if the east door is unlocked
- [3:24 PM] Soro [DM]: It is not. However, you do notice that the platforms stop being lit up when you get off of them.
- [3:25 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "okay, makes sense, can two Hermeses go and stand in the west room"
- J: "the traps have been dealt with don't worry"
- [3:25 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yeah."
- "Got it."
- [3:25 PM] Soro [DM]: Two of the Hermes head into that room, and get on the platform.
- [3:26 PM] Soro [DM]: The door opens, and you head in. Another long room, at the far end there's another essence. Between here and there, crushers are stomping down from the ceiling.
- "Ugh. Trap rooms."
- [3:26 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: constantly stomping?
- there a rhythm to it?
- [3:28 PM] Soro [DM]: Yes, there is.
- [3:30 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: how many 10ft poles does it take to stop one? :3
- [3:32 PM] Soro [DM]: They wouldn't last forever, but you could definitely stop them all for a few seconds or so with... six total poles?
- [3:32 PM] Soro [DM]: It'd make the run significantly less risky.
- [3:33 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: good thing you can put more down as you go!
- [3:33 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: you'll try and go for it with that strategy in mind...
- actually could you sever the chain holding the essence with a ranged wind slash?
- [3:34 PM] Soro [DM]: Roll GT. You could try.
- [3:34 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 1d20+24
- [3:34 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Eon [Johnny/G]: 1d20+24 = (1)+24 = 25
- [3:34 PM] Soro [DM]: That doesn't cut it.
- [3:34 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "Eon, why do you crit so much" god damnit
- [3:34 PM] Soro [DM]: AHAHAHA. Humor 100.
- [3:35 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: you'll just try it using the rods to help it not crush you
- [3:35 PM] Soro [DM]: Alright! You run across, placing poles, and make it to the other side safely. They all snap as you reach the other side, and the crushers continue.
- [3:35 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: cut the essence free and then make it back the same way
- [3:37 PM] Soro [DM]: You release the essence, which goes into Hermes 3, and make it back the same way.
- [3:39 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "splitting time"
- [3:39 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: /r 1d20+24
- [3:39 PM] BOTsidekick, destroyer of hope: @Eon [Johnny/G]: 1d20+24 = (14)+24 = 38
- [3:41 PM] Soro [DM]: You split them one more time, making another Hermes.
- "Huh."
- "Huh."
- You swear you can hear the other two saying "Huh" from across the dungeon.
- [3:42 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: heh, that's pretty good,
- you'll check out the north door in this right path now that the Hermeses are on the west side plates
- [3:44 PM] Soro [DM]: You head north, and enter into the six-platform room.
- [3:44 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G will go and grab the two Hermeses on the platforms
- "why do you keep going 'huh' whenever we split you?" he says leaning into the doorway of the west room
- [3:49 PM] Soro [DM]: "Because it's weird!"
- [3:49 PM] Soro [DM]: "Huh," another one adds.
- [3:52 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "well come on, we got six of us for the next room"
- [3:52 PM] Soro [DM]: "Oh yeah."
- [3:53 PM] Soro [DM]: The six of you head into the next room, and stand on the platforms. The door opens, and you head through it.
- This next room is perfectly circular, with a staircase up to a large, elevated circular platform in the middle.
- [3:53 PM] Soro [DM]: "Huh."
- "Stop saying that."
- "Why?"
- "Because this situation doesn't warrant it!"
- "Huh, okay."
- [3:54 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "heh,"
- J: "don't you start too"
- G: "hehe"
- you'll start heading up the stairs to the platform
- [3:55 PM] Soro [DM]: The two of you head up the stairs. The Hermes try to follow, but are repelled by some sort of barrier.
- "Hu-"
- The offending Hermes is slapped.
- [3:56 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J/G: "huuuh?" mirrored head tilts looking back
- [3:56 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yeah, we can't follow."
- "It's probably a player thing."
- [3:57 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: Johnny confused meme good times
- J: "Oh, kay, we'll see you guys in a sec then once we're done"
- Johnny drags G who is still flabbergasted up the stairs "But you're the denizen here!"
- [3:59 PM] Soro [DM]: You make it up to the top of the platform.
- There are two small circular indents, but nothing else of note.
- "Yeah, but this place was meant to contain me, so it probably wouldn't just let me waltz wherever."
- "It's not very good at it."
- [3:59 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "You can say that again!" G calls down, waiting for the huhmeses to go at it again
- >:3c
- [4:00 PM] Soro [DM]: "It's not very good at it."
- "He didn't actually mean to say it again, you dolt."
- "Huh."
- "I hate all of you."
- "Hating yourself isn't healthy."
- "Aaaaaaa."
- [4:02 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny just gives G The Look
- G smiles :3
- Johnny gives a thumbs up
- G fist pumps
- they then step on the indents like other times
- [4:03 PM] Soro [DM]: You step on the indents.
- Nothing happens. They're a bit too small for that.
- One of the Hermes yells up.
- "Hey, these places like music!"
- "It's a dungeon, how does it like music?"
- "SCratch shit."
- "Oh."
- "Don't you dare say huh."
- [4:04 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "HUH!?"
- J: "okay, you're stepping into troll territory, and not the race of violent idiots that might/might not deserve a hug but could also get offended by that"
- G: "i know"
- does it look like the indents could fit the foot of a cello?
- [4:04 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: (the part that touches the ground, idk what it's actually called)
- [4:04 PM] Soro [DM]: (me neither, but yes)
- [4:05 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: well you do have two cellos at this point
- you'll both set up at one of the indents and start playing

- YouTube
- 2CELLOS
- 2CELLOS - Thunderstruck [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
- [4:10 PM] Soro [DM]: You put your cellos down, and start playing.
- It's been a while since you've played this song.
- In fact, if the narration remembers correctly, it was one of the last things done before entry.
- How we've come full circle.
- The stone starts to rumble, and the entire room starts to slide downwards.
- The song continues.
- One by one, the Hermes jolt, like they just received some sort of information.
- They all say something, but you can't hear it over the music.
- The room continues to fall.
- As the song wraps up, you see that you've come into the center of the planet. A large, hollowed-out space. In the very center, there's a large blue orb, made of chains and a weird rocky material. Surrounding it is a group of twelve Hermes, various humans in different shapes and forms. Around them, a huge horde of other Hermes float, too many to count.
- "This is it. The prison."
- The song finishes.
- Lightning arcs around the whole hollowed-out space, sparking across the surfaces of the walls and rooms. Clouds form above the prison, and a bolt of lightning comes down, and strikes it.
- The sound of thunder resonates through the room, and the crowd of Hermes surges at the prison.
- "This is it."
- [4:13 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: J: "where'd that lightning come from?"
- G: "just get ready for the negames, Hermenamies, Bad side of Huh"
- (also get the bonus from Last gift?)
- [4:15 PM] Soro [DM]: (Yep)
- [4:15 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: (also anything else happening with this whole situation?)
- [4:15 PM] Soro [DM]: (Not really. Hermes fighting Hermes, weird electricity arcing up and down, that's about it)
- [4:16 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: you'll both start rushing into the centre of the entire situation, to the cage itself and what might be inside still
- [4:17 PM] Soro [DM]: You rush into the center of the situations, to the front lines.
- It's a mess up here. Attacks flying every which way, from both sides.
- Roll three attack rolls instead of engaging in an actual, drawn out clusterfuck of a fight.
- [4:18 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: GT also okay?
- [4:18 PM] Soro [DM]: Yep.

- [4:23 PM] Soro [DM]: The two of you engage in battle with the Hermes fragments. Using your GT powers, you manage to batter them with wind, and tear weapons out of their hands, leaving the crowd to surge upon them, taking them down.
- Eventually, they've all been defeated, though your side has sustained casualties too. The bottom of the space is filled with unconscious fragments, and dead fragments.
- One of the Hermes tries to attack the sphere, and is repelled via the same barrier as before.
- You almost lose your hearing as about seventy Hermes all go "Huh" in sync.
- 4:24 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G smile fucking expands at the resounding Huh
- "i love these guys"
- Johnny and G then rush to the sphere because they can pass through the barrier
- [4:25 PM] Soro [DM]: You rush to the sphere.
- It pulses, breathing in and out, like a heart. Now that you're closer, you can see that thin blue strings extend out from it, going to the walls of this places and most likely beyond.
- "Cut it open."
- "Free me."
- "We're ready."
- "Do it!"
- [4:26 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: does it smell of mint.
- [4:27 PM] Soro [DM]: It does.
- [4:28 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny and G fuse back together and draw the Bond Breaker
- feet firmly planted on it and sword raised high, they SLASH!
- [4:31 PM] Soro [DM]: You raise your sword high, and slash at the prison.
- It scrapes against the surface.
- What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
- You push harder. This thing was made to break this, it can't be that hard!
- In a flash of light, two things happen.
- First of all, a small crack appears in the prison. It's small, but it's enough. All of the Hermes around turn into wind, and start flowing towards it, zooming forwards as fast as they can.
- Second of all, the Bond-Breaker snaps.
- The blade snaps in two, and the entire thing starts glowing a bright green. When you grab it back, in two pieces, you discover that the broken pieces have refined themselves, into a pair of sharp blades.
- You've freed Hermes. Take a level.
- The wind stops flowing into the crack. Looks like they're done merging.

- [4:34 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny leans down to the crack to look inside and put his ear to it
- "huh?"
- [4:34 PM] Soro [DM]: "Huh."
- His voice sounds much more... full. Before, it was kind of tinny and weak. Now, it sounds a bit deeper, and with a lot more mischief built in.
- "Thank you, Johnny, G."
- [4:35 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "No problem!" you yell into the crack
- "it cool if we pop in or you planning to come out of the big cocoon?"
- [4:37 PM] Soro [DM]: "There's the issue."
- "Normally, a Denizen would give you a Choice about now. I am not a true Denizen, so I do not have the power to do so."
- "But, there is one thing that I have neglected to tell you about."
- "This land depends on there being an occupant of this prison."
- "It takes my Breath energy, and transforms it, using it to maintain this pseudoplanet you call your land. Without anyone in here, your land would float apart, and be lost forever."
- "I cannot leave, to help you win."
- "I must stay here. Whole."
- "Unless."
- [4:38 PM] Soro [DM]: "Unless one of you decided to take my place."
- "I could buy you enough time to Scratch. I am powerful, and the grimdark would crumple like paper under me."
- "But it is a steep price to pay. I understand if you wish to walk away right now."
- [4:45 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: you sat down on the cage as Hermes began to talk but when he gives you that option,

- J: "G don't you dare even think about it!"
- G doesn't meet Johnny's eyes,
- J: "we've been over this! you're worth more than you think you do!"
- G: "...I know but, i love everyone in this session that if i had to be here, i'd be okay with it"
- J: "G people do car-"
- G: "I know, i'm not saying no one cares about me, hell P would kill me right now if she heard me talking about this but, if you could all be safe while scratching. i'd be okay with that."
- J: "What if i did it?"
- G: "No you dumbass Lavira would kill me for letting you do that, then come here, somehow break this thing open somehow and drag you the fuck out. that goes double for Plutia!"
- J: "Same logic at you buddy, it's just be me doing it thrice over."
- G: "Then... Hermes. someone has to be in there right? And this isn't a choice so, could we tag in and out later?"
- [4:46 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yes."
- "You could tag in and out as you wished."
- [4:50 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "See, I tag in, Hermes goes and wrecks face and pushes them back then before the scratch he just has to make sure he's here right? everyone wins"
- Johnny punches the sphere, knuckles hurting, "When did you get so logical dumbass" a tear hits the unbreakable sphere,
- G: "a lot of Phoenix Right and Layton games"
- the two of you start to chuckle before full on laughing
- J: "hehe, you here that Hermes! You owe us on this, don't be an idiot out there! it's a rental"
- [4:51 PM] Soro [DM]: "Yes. I'll do my best to come back."
- [4:52 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny and G both cup and ear and put it to the crack
- "Huh? we couldn't heeeear yooooou?"
- [4:52 PM] Soro [DM]: "I'll be back."
- [4:55 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: G: "i'll be back too,"
- J: "we're both player 2,"
- G: "i'm the cooler alt though"
- J: "oh screw off!"
- G/J: "..."
- you both hug each other, it's a long pause, a needed one.
- before G steps up and is ready to take Hermes' spot, for a bit at least.
- G: "Later Johnathan"
- J: "Cya around, Johnathan"
- [4:59 PM] Soro [DM]: G, you bid Johnny farewell, and turn into wind, flowing into the crack, and into the prison.
- You come back, looking at the dark inside of a prison sphere. It's going to be a familiar sight from now on, you feel.
- Johnny, you watch G go. As he leaves, another burst of wind comes out, consolidating to Hermes, wearing his doctor's outfit. He's much larger than he was before, and more confident too, it seems.
- "Huh."
- [5:00 PM] Soro [DM]: "Before I go. There's a grist cache at the bottom of this place. Take it, you can use it for alchemy and house building."
- [5:01 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Johnny levels Hermes a very serious look
- "Do not. Fuck. With my brother."
- [5:01 PM] Soro [DM]: "Of course not."
- "I've grown, since those days on LoPaP. I would never do that."
- [5:02 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: Do i need an insight check?
- Is it mint scented?
- [5:03 PM] Soro [DM]: You don't need an Insight check. He's telling the truth.
- It's mint scented. Stronger than ever before, really.
- [5:05 PM] Eon [Johnny/G]: "Okay, good luck out there"
- G: " you know I'm not dead right! And can still hear you!"
- J: "...somehow I, huh"
- G: "get that grist horde and start sending me stuff to make this into the best game room ever! We decorating this place Goldstein style!"
- [5:06 PM] Soro [DM]: He nods.
- "See you around."
- And takes off, flying out of the dungeon.
- [5:07 PM] Soro [DM]: You've beaten your land quest. You've freed the Denizen, saved the people of your land and the underlings alike from two types of possession, and total dissolution.
- Take another level. You deserve it.
