BACKGROUND ; Having an interest of being a famous idol as a youngster, Calyx insisted on being educated on dance and rap. She could've chosen the vocal path her mother took when she was younger, but she wanted to try something else for a change. She chose rap because she admired female rappers like CL and Hyuna, and dance was something that came naturally; she just wanted to have proper training in order to enhance her dancing ability.
