- Princess Celestia, Goddess of the sun and ruler of the empire known as Equestria, a land populated by multicoloured pastal ponies that all loved her and saw her as a living God, which in many ways she was, considering the fact that one of her many duties was rising the sun in the morning, and then lowering it again when night came.
- That, and the fact that she was much larger then most of the other ponies, towering over them with her ethereal multicoloured mane flowing dramatically behind her.
- Then there was her sister, who was a princess called Luna. She was much like her sister, only instead of having an ivory body, she had a midnight blue one, and instead of raising the sun, she was responsible for raising the moon.
- This might not have sounded too bad, but considering the fact that the sun was responsible for pretty much all life, gave warmth, food and light to all the ponies, Celestia seemed to be much more liked then her sister considering the fact that all the moon provided was some light, some of the waves that came from the ocean, and a pretty sight, it became clear why the two of them had their differences.
- Once upon a time, these differences had led to her and her sister having a falling out, leading to her sister becoming evil, which had forced Celestia to banish her to the moon she had been responsible for raising.
- Now her sister had returned however, and the two of them had begin trying to repair their frayed relationship. One of the many ways in which Celestia had made it up to her sister was by allowing her to pull whatever prank she desired for April Fools for the next one thousand years, the number of years that she had been banished to the moon for.
- Today was April fools, and somehow Celestia had managed to forget that. She had been exceptionally busy tending to the inner workings of her kingdom, meeting people that were responsible for keeping the various parts of the kingdom running and trying her best to keep them sweet and on side.
- Because of this, she had been so spent when she crawled into bed that she did not know what day it was when she did finally awaken. And when she did awaken, something was most certainly off. She could not feel her ivory body any more, and everything felt really off.
- She stared at the roof of her bedchamber in confusion, blinking slowly as she tried to make sense of what was happening and what was currently off. Her bedsheets felt like they were crushing her, and as she struggled and kicked in an attempt to get away from them, she realized the first thing that was off.
- Normally she had four limbs. She was quite sure that she normally had four limbs, but now she only had two. Her wings flared out to either side of her, and she quickly realized what it was that was wrong.
- This body was most certainly not her body, her wings were far too large compared to her body, and her body was still the perfect shade of ivory that it had always been, but instead of being covered in soft fur, it was covered in a layer of feathers!
