- Jim's Action PM 1
- setup
- examine my room
- might as well while he's just sitting around and shiz
- it's pretty bare, so shouldn't take long
- under the futon, in the little compartment, anything up by the lights, etc.
- remove the pillow case from the pillow
- it is now a makeshift sack for holding stuff
- things to bring:
- pillow case (hold on to it)
- Caltraps (in the pillow case)
- Ponyo (in the pillow case)
- Stage Assistant (in pocket)
- Bowie Knife (concealed on person in his pocket, waistband, whatever)
- leave his trumpet and pillow in his room
- apparently, Isabella and I are getting something special for saving the hostage
- "special guest"? hopefully something to help me guard the area
- quickly explain the gist of this to my allies if I ever see them
- Game Plan (part 1)
- go with Matthew to the Dorms
- draw my Bowie Knife for initial room scouting
- Hoss said this was a dangerous room. "8 little doggies"
- there are 8 dorms. Something bad in each one? beds, dressers, idk?
- i dunno. Either way, take warning
- Hopefully Matthew will have a weapon too
- escort Matthew to the shower, I'll search the Dorms
- keep the Bowie Knife ready while surveying this area
- if everything's cleared, Jim will sheathe it
- go to the Dorm Mother's room (it has a door and posters inside)
- scan the room, look under the bed
- if possible to do quickly, take the posters
- tearing down, cutting down, whatevs
- roll them up, shove 'em in the sack
- Big Hoss said they're important
- then look under every bed on the male side (Jim's not a perv!)
- don't bother with the dressers and anything extra unless i'm still waiting on Matthew
- as soon as Matthew finishes (hopefully before Ordeals unlock), go into the ordeal room for the dorms
- check for Caltraps when entering
- someone else has them too (since Jim got some from the Hoss shop)
- logistics be damned, this is the only time they'll screw Jim and Matthew up so be careful about this
- if someone else is already starting / trying to do the Ordeal, threaten them away
- if that person seems to have serious backup, probably follow Matthew's lead on this
- might mean cutting our losses and going to Classroom
- might mean standing and fighting
- if that person is alone and refuses to leave, it's fighting time (gotta get Carnage points somehow)
- drive them out or unconscious
- my Service perks are too good to pass by and Jim's got 3 Death Marks
- he needs this
- if we get there early and there's no threats, suggest to do the mutual Major injury now
- get it out of the way early
- might as well use my Bowie Knife for it, it's already drawn and ready to go (rip durability)
- do the Ordeal
- Matthew will stand guard (hopefully)
- if for some reason he's not and Giovanni, Ulricha, or Enzo is in the Dorms, release the Caltraps on the floor just inside the door
- that way if someone comes in, Jim's got a chance to fight
- once again, either drive them out or "kill" for the unconscious
- take the marks off of himself and Isabella
- if for some reason he can only remove one, prioritize Isabella
- Game Plan (part 2)
- this is where things get fuzzy
- since this is the Ordeal of Tardiness, Jim may have to waste time for it
- if so, suggest for Matthew to go on ahead to the Classroom
- he mentioned wanting to write that essay
- if Matthew splits up:
- if either of us still need to complete it, do the mutual Major injury on each other before he leaves
- tell him to find some pencil and paper, or any suitable means of writing
- stick around in the Dorm room for that Masterwork item, the Sleep Mask
- something about admiring the art?
- just wait the rest of the round in there looking at the (perhaps stolen) posters
- maybe a clue, maybe just wasting time. Who knows
- if Jim does get it:
- use it ASAP if things feel dangerous
- losing it right as he gets it would be embarrassing as hell
- if someone attacks me in the Dorms or things seem dangerous
- priority is to run
- if i successfully took them, throw the posters up in the air and run away
- hopefully that'll be a sufficient distraction
- if I get the Masterwork item or leave early for some reason
- if there's still plenty of time, meet up with Matthew in the Classroom
- follow the instruction for that room later in this Action PM
- if time's running out, go to the Northeast Stockpile room
- take whatever looks good (hooray for the makeshift sack!)
- continue looting Stockpile rooms clockwise until Action Phase ends
- at Jim's last room, leave the Ponyo DVD
- if the round ends
- just go back to his room
- if Matthew doesn't split up, or Jim doesn't have to wait around:
- after the Ordeal, follow Matthew to the Classroom
- search for paper and pencil, or some kinda writing instrument
- even a whiteboard and marker lol
- anything to communicate easily with Isabelle
- just kinda guard Matthew, break up fights i suppose. Maybe go for a kill if we're clearly winning
- near the end of the Action Phase, Matthew and I stab each other in the arm with my Bowie Knife
- enough to be Major, that's all. Just to clear the global objective and not get a death mark
- if there's a quick minute to spare on the way back to my room
- run to the southwest storage room
- throw Ponyo in it
- return to my room
- overarching guidelines:
- if things go fantastically off the rails:
- do the mutual Major injury with someone else ASAP
- that's the highest priority this round
- if Jim hasn't cleared that objective and he's all by himself:
- go to his room early but hang out outside the door
- try to find someone willing to help as they return back home
- like Matthew, Isabella, or Pipete
- try to tell Matthew (or perhaps an ally like Isabella or Pipete) to find some paper and pencil if they can
- especially if visiting the Classroom
- if Jim ever knocks out someone, don't forget to loot an item
- in priority: Masterwork, Augmentation voucher, weapon, whatever else
- if pressed for time, just take whatever's quickest to make off with
- if the lights ever go out:
- bust out my Stage Assistant. It's got a spotlight feature, so it can be a jank flashlight in a pinch
- Player relationships:
- Allies:
- Matthew
- seems loyal, perhaps not dependable. We'll see
- he's going with me to Dorms
- he'll do the shower, i'll do the ordeal and searching
- then the plan's to visit the Classroom
- he'll try to write an essay, time allowing
- i'll just kinda hang around
- lastly, we'll mutually Major wound each other to avoid the failure Death Mark
- all in all, Jim's placing quite a bit of trust in him
- Isabelle
- got a good partnership going with her
- muteness may be a problem during Action Phase
- she's planning to stop by all 3 rooms
- might run into her at some point
- Pipere
- on good terms with her too
- she's an acrobat, so Jim's confident she can escape any sticky situations
- she's planning to look around for an empty room
- Questionable:
- Young Moolah
- not much to know about her
- she seems formal, so she sounds open to cooperation?
- Jim estimates good odds of getting along with her
- Enemies:
- Giovanni, Ulricha, Enzo
- these 3 voted Jim to take the Death Mark
- so their teamwork is anywhere from "on speaking terms" to "a well-oiled unit"
- and Jim was either "unlucky target" or "specifically gonna fuck him up"
- none of these options are good
- plus they just seem angry in general
- if any of them are in the general vicinity, be on high alert
- Miscellaneous
- Dog / Roomba
- ???
- really dislikes Pipere???
- April
- actually the host???
- but *actually* an AI controlling a random girl???
- Hoss
- chill! super cool and helpful
- Galatea
- weird and foreboding
- apparently gone for good?
