Born from a Korean mom and an American dad, she moved away from the United States when she was pretty young. Despite this, she considers English her first language. She grew up with older siblings who liked to tease her a lot but with whom she had a very close bond with. Being the youngest she received most of the attention from her parents, which is why she always expects to be the center of attention. Despite them being very busy with work, they tried to give her everything. While growing up, she always wanted to be in a girl group. She took singing, dancing, and even acting clases. Yet her parents never showed up to any of her dance recitals or singing shows.
