  1. 01[23:21] <Botherer> When the children had been rescued from the innards of the Grue, they had also been shocked to discover a Mewtwo within her seemingly interminably large belly. Even more unusual was that she seemed to bear the ability to... Conjure up beautiful clothing out of thin air. Be it that he was left amazed, perturbed, or simply curious by her powers, Lawrence sought to seek out the fairly bullshit overpowered Legendary for his own purposes.
  2. 01[23:25] <Botherer> He finds Miss Myuu, oddly enough, standing before a green backdrop, spotlights aiming down on her and a fan blowing the silver dress she wears as a... Scyther, somehow, despite his lack of opposable thumbs, tries to take a picture of her with a camera he holds within his two claws.
  3. 01[23:26] <Botherer> The only reason this is even remotely plausible is because the camera's attached to a strap that hangs around its neck.
  4. 06[23:26] * LawrenceXavier steps back for a moment to just watch, sketching the strange sight down.
  5. 02[23:28] * Arae ([email protected]) Quit (Ping timeout)
  6. 03[23:28] * Lecia ([email protected]) has joined #Dreamscape
  7. 01[23:29] <Botherer> Lawrence is able to get a decent sketch, what with Miss Myuu staying still for the camera poses, as the Scyther takes shot after shot of her from various angles. By the time Lawrence is finished, Miss Myuu's just about finished herself, and gives the Scyther a hug and a kiss on the cheek as best as she can while the Scyther begins to pack up his equipment.
  8. 01[23:30] <Botherer> Miss Myuu takes notice of your presence, and waves over to you. "Oh, why, hello there, sweetie!"
  9. 06[23:31] * LawrenceXavier raises his hand in a short wave. "Good evening. I"m glad to see your....experience...inside the Grue hasn't had any major side-effects."
  10. 03[23:33] * Lecia is now known as Arae
  11. 01[23:33] <Botherer> "Any adversity can be overcome when you have companions to help you persevere through it, dear~"
  12. [23:37] <LawrenceXavier> "That's a good way to look at it. So, I brought my sketches." He holds up his book, and then presents it to the Mewtwo to take a look. "Let me know what you think."
  13. 01[23:40] <Botherer> "I'd be delighted to take a look, dear!" She takes the book and starts flipping through the pages, and you can tell she's soaking up every little nuance and detail of your sketchwork. I know you had the jetwings drawn up in your sketchbook, but is there anything else of note that she would come across? Any "generic" stuff?
  14. 06[23:43] * LawrenceXavier had also included some designs for formal suits, armor, and even a few casual outfits, as well. For both humans and pokemon. In fact, most of the armor seems to be made for pokemon of all shapes
  15. 01[23:46] <Botherer> A smile creeps up on Miss Myuu's face as she looks over the drawings. "I see... Practical, yet stylish... Elegant, yet functional..."
  16. 06[23:49] * LawrenceXavier smiles, glad that she seems to like it. "Why thank you. I haven't shown many people these, and certainly no one who would actually know enough about fashion to give much feedback."
  17. 01[23:50] <Botherer> She closes the book and looks to Lawrence, giving him a reaffirming nod. "I see great potential in this sketchbook of yours, dear! The question now, though, is how do you plan to go about bringing such works of art into the world?"
  18. [23:52] <LawrenceXavier> "That's where I'm running into problems. I don't have the machinery capable of making them quickly, and I've never done much work with a needle. Although I suppose that's less of an issue in this world, isn't it?"
  19. 01[23:56] <Botherer> "It most certainly isn't!" Miss Myuu brings a paw to her face as she lets out a small chuckle. "All you need is a fine eye for detail, a creative vision, and just a tiny bit of imagination! And from the look of your sketchbook, I don't see concern of either of the first two being in short supply!"
  20. 01[23:59] <Botherer> Miss Myuu raises her other paw, palm upwards, to about Lawrence's chest, heightwise. Floating over it is a small floating ball of light, all colors of the rainbow swishing about as a gust of wind, blowing past, causing ripples to form like a raindrop hitting a puddle.

  22. 06[00:00] * LawrenceXavier starts to think over Miss Myuu's words, when she brings out that strange ball. He stops and looks down at it, wondering exactly what he's looking at.
  23. 01[00:02] <Botherer> "Beautiful, isn't it, dear?"
  24. [00:02] <LawrenceXavier> "It is. What is it?"
  25. 01[00:05] <Botherer> "It's a mass of pure, undiluted creative energy... The building block for the manifestation of all Imagination, sweetie!" A rainbow forms in the sky behind her as she says that, a disturbing amount of emphasis and prolonging on the "naaaa". You are now reading her voice in the dialogue of Spongebob. Or not. Hopefully you're not. 'cause that'd just be weird.
  26. 06[00:07] * LawrenceXavier watches the spectacle in front of him with the Imagination block, and has to rub his eyes to make sure he's seeing all the colors right. But after look at it for a few moments, he stops, and looks down at his own hand. He holds it up, as well, and begins to concentrate...
  27. 01[00:09] <Botherer> Roll an INT check as you focus, Lawrence.

  32. 01[00:14] <Botherer> Lawrence closes his eyes and focuses. His mind becomes clear, an empty, blank slate. With this state of focus, he can feel his mind become light and clear, and his palm shakes as a spark of light goes off before him.
  33. 01[00:15] <Botherer> This spark turns into a crackle. Then a burst of lightning shooting out before him as a sphere of energy, easily three times the radius of the one Miss Myuu held in her palm, floats before him. He can just feel the whole thing brimming with unfathomable amounts of energy as it floats in front of him.

  35. 06[00:18] * LawrenceXavier keeps his eyes shut the whole time he's concentrating, letting all of the energy flow from him and into the air, his whole body forming a sort of glowing aura like had formed from that single spark. He slowly brings his other hand up, touching the very tips of his fingers against the massive ball.
  36. 01[00:19] <Botherer> Miss Myuu's tail swishes with excitement as Lawrence's venture proves to be far beyond successful. "Wonderful! Simply wonderful, dear! You've proven able to bring forth your creative energies... Now it's time to make use of them!"
  37. 01[00:19] <Botherer> You touch the tip of the ball.
  38. 01[00:19] <Botherer> It feels...Surreal. Like you're touching liquid silk.
  39. 01[00:19] <Botherer> You move your finger around, watching as it carves a trail into the side of the mass.
  40. 01[00:20] <Botherer> As you do, you feel your arm beginning to move, almost on its own. Do you choose to let it?
  41. 06[00:20] * LawrenceXavier lets his body move as it will
  42. 01[00:24] <Botherer> Your hand takes up the pointing position as, slowly, it begins to carve out a shape within the ball of energy. This sensation slowly begins to consume the other arm, which joins in the process. You begin to mold the ball, soon becoming much more involved in molding the shape that appears before you, the ball spinning as you work to accomodate your motions. Roll perception, Lawrence!

  48. 01[00:29] <Botherer> As your hands craft the ball, you begin to feel hard nubs forming within the mass of energy. Diamonds begin slowly to appear on the surface as the thing hollows out, thinning to the density of little more than paper, and takes on a blue hue. Small pieces detach from the mass. You also notice Miss Myuu's tail swishing about. It's not merely that fact which bothers you, though... It's that it seems to be in tandem with the motions of the mass as it swishes about.
  49. 06[00:35] * LawrenceXavier opens his eyes to look at the ball, at this point not quite sure where his subconscious is leading him in creation, but whatever it is, it's quite unique. He can definitely he say he doesn't remember ever drawing up something like this. Noticing Miss Myuu's motions, as well, he keeps his eyes moving between the two.

  51. 03[00:36] * Lecia ([email protected]) has joined #Dreamscape
  52. 01[00:38] <Botherer> Aside from the swishing of her tail to the rhythm of the mass, Miss Myuu seems to be relatively immobile, engaging in only the rise and fall of her chest with each breath while watching your hands intently as they continue to sculpt this... Thing.
  53. 01[00:40] <Botherer> Before long, you come to realize exactly what this thing is as it begins to take more accurate dimensions. And it is most certainly not anything you ever sought to create. It's a dress. A massive, blue dress with a single strap falling over one shoulder, the whole thing looking as if it were bedazzled with radiantly shining diamonds.
  54. 01[00:42] <Botherer> And really, bedazzled is probably an understatement. You have trouble seeing the actual dress at points for how completely rocked out this dress is!
  55. 06[00:42] * LawrenceXavier sees the finished product, and, through some application of willpower, keeps the dress suspended inmid-air,turning it around to get a good look at the dress in its entirety. "Whoa..."
  56. 01[00:43] <Botherer> "Truly wondrous, isn't it, dear?" Miss Myuu tries to stifle a chuckle as she, too, admires the finished product.
  57. [00:44] <LawrenceXavier> "I've always heard about a piece of art taking on a life of its own. I guess this is what they meant..."
  58. 01[00:48] <Botherer> "Such moving words..." You slowly feel your hands moving forth towards the dress to hold it, though it doesn't seem quite such a subtle and fluid motion as before. It feels almost as if someone or something were exerting a powerful force upon them in an attempt to manipulate them. "If only they were true!" Miss Myuu literally bursts out laughing into a hysterical gigglefit.
  59. 01[00:48] <Botherer> Roll a Strength Check, Lawrence!
  60. 01[00:49] <Botherer> ... Assuming you want to oppose this force.

  65. 01[00:50] <Botherer> You feel your hands gun out for the dress. Try as you might, you can't pull your hands away to oppose the force you feel exerted on them. You find yourself... Being forced to put on the dress.
  66. 01[00:51] <Botherer> Not even kidding, your hands are forcing you to put the dress on your own body.
  67. 06[00:51] * LawrenceXavier tries to resist it the best he can, and shouts. "Wait! I have someone else who could try it!"
  68. 01[00:51] <Botherer> Within far too little time, you are now wearing http://www.digitalgirlgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/goddess-paillette-dark-blue-prom-dress-with-sleeves-for-2012.jpg THIS. Well, most of it, anyways.
  69. 01[00:52] <Botherer> ... Wait a second, is that Selena Gomez wearing that dress? ... BAAAAAARD!!!
  70. [00:52] <LawrenceXavier> (Is it really?)
  71. 01[00:52] <Botherer> (I think so.)
  72. [00:52] <LawrenceXavier> (Interesting)
  73. 06[00:53] * LawrenceXavier curses his combination of very high Dex and Charisma, surely combining to make a very attractive person!)
  74. 01[00:54] <Botherer> Look on the bright side, you're not wearing the earrings or sleeveless arms... Yet.
  75. 01[00:54] <Botherer> Miss Myuu has fallen to the ground, holding her gut in an uncontrollable fit of laughter.
  76. 06[00:55] * LawrenceXavier shuts his eyes again, trying to exert his will on the dress!
  77. 03[00:56] * Arae ([email protected]) has joined #Dreamscape
  78. 01[00:57] <Botherer> Even hrough your closed eyelids, you see the flash of lights and hear the click of a shutter. If you open your eyes and turn to the light, you'll see the Scyther from before taking a picture. Thankfully you can exert your will on the dress, and it flies off from atop your clothes with minimal mental effort.
  79. 02[00:58] * Lecia ([email protected]) Quit (Ping timeout)
  80. 06[01:00] * LawrenceXavier GLARES down at the laughing Mewtwo, and makes the dress wrap itself around the Scyther while he still has control of it.
  81. 01[01:03] <Botherer> The Scyther's taken completely aback, and ends up wrangled real good in the dress. It wriggles about before falling to the ground.
  82. 06[01:04] * LawrenceXavier thinks for a moment, then manipulates the dress again, having it drape itself around the Scyther more properly this time. "You don't mind if I borrow your assistant for a moment, do you, Miss Myuu?"
  83. 01[01:05] <Botherer> She's still in a fit of laughter, wiping a tear from her eye as she rolls on the ground. "Oh, no... Not at all, dear!"
  84. 06[01:06] * LawrenceXavier seems to have let the whole humiliating picture issue slide as soon as its over, more involved in some RESEARCH, and concentrates on the diamond material of the dress, manipulating it around the Scyther, trying to find just the right shape...
  85. 01[01:08] <Botherer> The diamonds sparkle with a brilliant light as you focus in on them! Roll an INT check to exert your will on the dress, Lawrence! And state your intentions!
  86. [01:08] <LawrenceXavier> 1d20+5 Diamonds are even stronger than steel. And with a Scyther as the subject....
  87. [01:08] <DiceMaid-9001> LawrenceXavier, Diamonds are even stronger than steel. And with a Scyther as the subject....: 9 [1d20=4]

  89. [01:09] <LawrenceXavier> (Figures! Any goodwil left over from the crit earlier? :P)
  90. 01[01:12] <Botherer> I... I kind of really REALLY want to do this. That and I feel a little bad about sticking Lawrence into the dress. So yes, there is indeed goodwill leftover, as the diamond dress takes form over the Scyther, melding into its skin. Some seep into its blades, giving them a radiant shine, while others coat its exoskeleton, which becomes rock hard.
  91. 01[01:12] <Botherer> The dress, bereft of all its diamonds, falls to the ground, leaving a diamond plated Scyther standing before you.
  92. 06[01:16] * LawrenceXavier strokes his chin at seeing the changed Scyther, looking happy with the results, but still with a critical eye. "That's definitely a step in the right direction."
  93. 01[01:19] <Botherer> The Scyther looks at the plating set upon it. And its shiny new blades. Curious, it props up one of its lightposts and strikes it with the blade. It's chopped cleanly in two.
  94. 06[01:19] * LawrenceXavier strokes his china few more times, then looksback to the laughing Mewtwo. "Would you mind if I hang on to this one for a while longer. I've got some good ideas here."
  95. 06[01:19] * LawrenceXavier grins wider after the slash. "Some very FUN ideas..."
  96. 01[01:23] <Botherer> Miss Myuu gets off the ground eventually after her fit of laughter subsides. "Of course you may, dear! If they're willing, I suppose."
  97. [01:26] <LawrenceXavier> "How about it? I imagine a change like this might only be the beginning if you stick with me."
  98. 01[01:26] <Botherer> Scyther look. And Scyther is impress.

  102. 01[01:38] <Botherer> It holds the camera to itself and takes a picture.
  103. 06[01:39] * LawrenceXavier sketches the new scyther, trying as best he can to capture its shine
  104. 01[01:41] <Botherer> You get a good sketch of the Scyther as it's taking pictures of itself with the camera.
  105. 01[01:44] <Botherer> Miss Myuu speaks up. "I do apologize for the trouble I caused you, dear... It was simply meant to be for fun... But I must say, this is quite the unusual development..."
  106. [01:45] <LawrenceXavier> "It's alright. We made something good out of it. And that ball...was that really all my making? I couldn't believe the feeling it gave coming out..."
  107. 01[01:47] <Botherer> Miss Myuu nods. "That was indeed of your own creation, dear... Your hands, however..." She giggles as you feel a tugging sensation on your hand. "I simply thought it to be a fun endeavor~"
  108. 01[01:48] <Botherer> "I hope you don't mind too much..."
  109. [01:49] <LawrenceXavier> "I'm quick to forgive. Especially with these kinds of results."
  110. 01[01:55] <Botherer> "The abilities you possess here are great and many, dear... With time I have no doubt they will turn into something wonderful." Her whimsical smile, while still being a smile, turns into one more serious. "However, I would love nothing more than to see that talent blossom into full bloom as soon as possible. If you would be willing, I can grant you a bit of power to help you better exercise it."
  111. [02:03] <LawrenceXavier> "I would love any way you can help. And if it can help t\he others, as well."
  112. 01[02:05] <Botherer> "I am certain that with the potential you wield already, the only limit to how useful this gift will be is how often you exercise it. Now, if you would allow me to lay arms upon you..."
  113. 01[02:05] <Botherer> Miss Myuu raises her two front paws up into the air, holding them forward facing downwards at just a little bit above the shoulder level.
  114. 06[02:14] * LawrenceXavier allows her to make contact, eager to find out what gift she has for him.
  115. 01[02:16] <Botherer> Miss Myuu lays her hands upon Lawrence's shoulders and closes her eyes. Accept her blessings? Y/N?
  116. [02:18] <LawrenceXavier> y
  117. 01[02:19] <Botherer> Miss Myuu begins to glow with a blue light. It slowly creeps off of her, slinking towards your own body.
  118. 01[02:19] <Botherer> The energy slowly trickles into you, and it's overwhelming.
  119. 01[02:20] <Botherer> Each and every muscle in your body trembles and shakes, some feeling as if they were about to give way to the power she vests within you as it flows over them.
  120. 01[02:21] <Botherer> When the feeling subsides, and the glow fades, you feel a faint ringing in the back of your mind.
  121. 03[02:26] * Lecia ([email protected]) has joined #Dreamscape
  122. 06[02:27] * LawrenceXavier feels the back of his head at hearing hte ring, and looks down at his hands, concentrating on his aura.

  125. 01[02:31] <Botherer> With the overwhelming power having subsided, you feel a warm, almost nurturing energy flowing within you.

  127. [02:35] <LawrenceXavier> "It feels....inspiring. Thank you. This has beena great help."
  128. 01[02:36] <Botherer> "Think nothing of it, sweetie. My only hope is that you use these gifts to bring wonderful creations within the Dreamscape~"

  131. 01[03:15] <Botherer> Miss Myuu gives you a little curtsy. "I look greatly forward to seeing what works of art you bestow this world with."
  132. 01[03:15] <Botherer> She smiles before waving you off.
