  1.
  2. You are Nordius, a peasant living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pitchfork and a nothing else. You wake up and begin working in the fields. You see your brother lying dead on the ground and you rush to him
  3.
  4. > You check his pulse.
  5.
  6.
  7. Your hand goes straight for his chest. Your fingers brush against his heart as he lies there motionless. He is dead. His eyes look into yours and they say everything you need to know about this world.
  8.
  9. "What happened?" you ask.
  10.
  11. He doesn't answer
  12.
  13. > You keep trying to get the corpse to answer.
  14.
  15.
  16. "I don't know".
  17. "I'm sorry..".
  18. "It's okay," you say. "Let me help you".
  19. The corpse begins to move, its body moving towards you. It moves closer until it is within arm's reach
  20.
  21. > You hold his hand.
  22.
  23.
  24. His hand slowly comes up to your face, resting on your cheek. Its cold, but not unpleasant. The touch feels good.
  25. "Are you alright?" you ask.
  26. "Yes".
  27. "Do you want me to call out for my mother?"
  28.
  29.
  30. > You don't answer.
  31.
  32.
  33. "No".
  34. "Good", you reply.
  35. You feel like you should be crying, but you aren't. Instead, you just sit down next to him and close your eyes. You can't sleep. You're too scared. Too upset. Too tired
  36.
  37. > You try to make sense of what happened.
  38.
  39.
  40. You stare at the corpse. You can see that it isn't human. It has no flesh or bone. It looks more like some sort of fungus or mold. Its skin is black and wrinkled. Its mouth hangs open and its teeth are missing
  41.
  42. > You jump back in surprise.
  43.
  44.
  45. You jump back from the corpse, staring at it with fear. The corpse suddenly grabs your wrist. You scream and pull away, but the corpse keeps holding on. You scream again and it lets go. Then you scream some more and it lets go. Finally, you let go completely
  46.
  47. > You rub your eyes and look at the corpse again.
  48.
  49.
  50. You look at the corpse once more. It stares back at you. It seems to understand you. It seems to be enjoying your fear. It smiles at you. You smile back. It seems to understand you. It seems to be enjoying your fear. It smiles at you. You smile back
  51.
  52. > You compose yourself.
  53.
  54.
  55. You stand up and walk over to the corpse. You grab its hand and place it on your forehead. You feel a cool sensation run through your head. You nod and fall asleep.
  56.
  57. When you wake up, you find yourself lying on the ground. A man stands beside you
  58.
  59. > You look at the man.
  60.
  61.
  62. You look at the man who was standing beside you. He wears a long coat and pants. He holds a spear and carries a bow. He is tall and thin. He is also naked.
  63. "Who are you?" you ask.
  64.
  65.
  66. > You wait for an answer.
  67.
  68.
  69. "My name is Nolazir".
  70. "How did you get here?"
  71. "I walked".
  72. "Where are you going?"
  73. "To my home".
  74. "Why are you naked?"
  75.
  76.
  77. > You look at him strangely.
  78.
  79.
  80. You look at him strangely. He shrugs and says "Because I am naked".
  81.
  82. > You say "What do you want?".
  83.
  84.
  85. "I want to live".
  86. "Well then, come with me".
  87. You follow him to a house. Inside the house, you see several other people. They all seem to be naked. One of them walks forward and speaks to you. She looks at you and smiles
  88.
  89. > You introduce yourself.
  90.
  91.
  92. "My name is Dorna".
  93. "Nice to meet you".
  94. "So, how do you want to play?"
  95.
  96. > You say "Play? What do you mean?".
  97.
  98.
  99. "We're playing a game called 'Dwarven *** Game'. We'll take turns ******* each other while we talk about our lives".
  100.
  101. > You say "Did I hear that correctly?".
  102.
  103.
  104. "Yeah, that's what it's called".
  105.
  106. > You say "Why is it called the 'Dwarven *** Game'?".
  107.
  108.
  109. "It's because the first person to pass out gets killed by the dwarves".
