- 16 Man Nightmare EV Guide
- -Annihilator-
- Things to be aware of:
- - Will cast targeted DoTs throughout the fight
- - Storm Protocol will spawn red reticles randomly beneath the raids feet
- - Overwhelming Swipe will cast cleaves infront of the boss doing damage and knock back during the fight
- - Missile Salvo will cast Missles which do damage to entire raid
- - Shockwave will do an AoE effect that hits all nearby melee units
- - Will aim a single targeted missle which will do damage to that target and all surrounding targets while also knocking them back.
- High priority classes: Snipers and Sith Sorcerers.
- -Turret Phase-
- The Annihilator droid is the first boss in the Eternity Vault. Before the boss fight even begins, you must first destroy the 2
- Turrets at the top of the cliff. You must assign your main tank and off tank to seperate turrets and healers must be ready to
- throw heavy heals on the tanks since the turrets do a heavy amount of damage. Tanks should not be afraid to pop any of their cooldowns
- for this phase. During the turret phase, adds will spawn. Have one of your tanks pick these adds up while dps continues to focus down
- the first turret. After the first turret drops, all dps should immediately switch to AoEing the mobs down and then switch to the next
- turret. After both turrets are down and adds have been dealt with, the boss will fall from the sky.
- -Annihilator-
- To start off, take a moment to observe the 2 pillars which have been placed in the boss's fighting area since I will be referring to them
- for points of reference throughout the guide.
- The key to this fight is positioning. Begin by setting your raid to the left of the left pillar. You want your ranged classes to be
- spread out around this area so the healers can target both ranged and melee classes without much difficulty. You want your melee classes to
- be placed behind the boss. The boss's torso can be rotated. So if the tank chooses to turn the boss facing the door, then the melee must be
- behind the boss's torso to avoid his cleave.
- Phase 1: After your ranged classes have been positioned the main tank and melee dps can begin the boss fight. During this phase he will
- cast time based skills. The first skill he will begin casting is Missle Salvo. At this time all ranged dps should stack on top of the
- melee group and one of your snipers must immediately cast Ballistic Shield as soon as he gets into position. Having 2 snipers in the group
- will make it so you never have to stand behind the pillar since they can swap off cooldowns. Sith Sorcerers are extremely
- useful in this fight since they have the best AoE heal. After the Missle Salvo phase(which lasts roughly 15 seconds), the raid should immediately
- spread back out to the original positions since he will cast his cleave a few seconds after the missles are done casting.
- Soon after his cleave has finished he will begin targeting individual people with a reddish target. It is imperative that whoever is targeted
- with this skill moves AWAY from the group and toward some structure on the map. The single target missle will knock you back and the only way
- to avoid getting knocked back 30+ meters is to line up infront of a structure. He will also cast a single target nuke which he will face and
- aim at the person he is going to attack it with. While healers should always be vigiliant in healing those with the DoT on them, DPS should
- call out their name when they have the DoT on them since it ticks for a heavy amount of damage.
- Phase 2: This will begin at around 50%. He will begin adding Storm Protocol to his rotation of skills. When he begins this all dps must begin
- moving when they see a red dot beneath them. It is possible to DPS standing still during this phase if you move as soon as you see the target
- appear beneath your feet. This skill will last roughly 15 seconds and then DPS can go back to normal.
- Phase3: The boss will go down into a never ending Missle Salvo. This is a burn phase. Everyone in the raid should stack up for AoE heals
- and Snipers should blow their ballistic shield to mitigate damage. All raid members should blow their cool downs to aid the healers as best
- as possible.
- When the boss gets down to 1% he will stop taking damage and collapse to the ground.
