You cant concert in the rain

Covet: Kelsey was sitting on the couch putting dates into a planner, getting herself organized with a binder she'd decorated with a bunch of stuff, all scrapbook style, titled '2019 Tour'. She also had her notebook sitting near by checking off a list of things she'd completed.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Brad was sitting in the chair beside her with his feet kicked up onto the coffee table, his laptop resting in his lap as he answered some of the emails Evan had pushed along that he'd needed to answer himself. "How many days are in March?" He asked her absent mindedly, his fingers moving over the keyboard typing.-
Covet: "Thirty One." She told him finishing writing the dates from the email on her phone. Look at them doing the responsible adult things. "Okay... Now, I can relax for a second." She said allowed to him.
Alexithymiaa: -He paused in his typing, glancing up from the computer to look over at her. "You're all finished?" He asked, finishing typing up his own email before speaking again. "What tour plans do you have locked down so far?"-
Covet: "Well finished with that." She told him stretching and pushing the glasses on her face up her nose. " Mostly just the dates in June, July and August. I need to get that schedule and Connor's schedule put together so I know when he and Holly will be on the bus, and when my mom's going to have him."
Alexithymiaa: "Gotcha." He said with a nod. "Where are you headed over those three months? Anywhere cool?" He asked sort of ambiguously because anywhere can be cool.-
Covet: "The major cities mostly. Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, LA, bouncing across the midwest, New York City, and down the east coast. then back up through Atlanta and Baton Rouge, Dallas and Houston, then back home."
Alexithymiaa: "Sounds like it's going to be a pretty cool tour. Have you brainstormed any of your visuals yet? Because I think I might have a couple of ideas for you depending on what kind of resources they're making available to you."-
Covet: "I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to help with some of that. Especially if you wanted to get some of the footage to use for any future music videos?" She asked him, with a smile. "I know you'll have your other work with directing too, but this would be something kind of exlcusive."
Alexithymiaa: "I've never done anything like this before, but I was thinking about it and I definitely think some crazy laser lights would be fitting for the tone of your new album and this sort of futuristic feel of a tour. Lights are kind of everything."-
Covet: "Mhhm. I want to be able to encoporate a lot of different images and set up with some large LED screens." She told him, grabbing her notebook. "I figured, I'd ask you first because We were talking about you branching out a little bit here and there. It'd only expand you experience as a director."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh I'm definitely in, I just think I need to do a little research since I'm not as familiar with it." He paused, considering his thoughts and then starting to google some references. "What about something like this where it's like a bunch of them in all shapes and sizes to complete a whole look?" Covet: "Hmmm, Sort of, but I was thinking more vertical, with interchangeable sections. And Tall, but accomodating for the stadiums." Kelsey told him.

Covet: "Yes! But not spaced out like that, but the ability to space them out like that to change up the stage." Kelsey told him "Also save that link for me please."
Alexithymiaa: "Well yeah, I was also imagining more of them and them to be a bit more narrow. Maybe on a moving track so they can transform between individual images and one cohesive visual." He said, copying the link into an email to send over to her.-
Covet: "Yes, exactly. There should be fire too...." She said softly thinking to herself.
Alexithymiaa: "You can never go wrong with fire. That does mean you need to start researching some pyrotechnicians because that's very out of my element. Not to mention the safety aspect is pretty over my head." He said with a smirk because safety is definitely not his forte.-
Covet: "I'll get it to the Project manager. They've got a list of them they can call and see who would be available for tour." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "Good, that makes it easier on you then." He said with a nod, leaning back in his chair. "Were there any other special effects you had in mind?"-
Covet: "Hmm, not that I can think of right away." She said writing down the note to talk to the project manager. "It's definitely going to be edgey though."
Alexithymiaa: "I think with your new album, edgy is the way to go. It's a good transition from that America's Sweetheart thing you've got going on. Which you can still maintain, but cooler."-
Covet: "Mhhm. But going all out on that, I definitely want to keep costume changes simple. and layerable if needed." She said still writing.
Alexithymiaa: "That's not really my area of expertise, but you should show some leg. It'll go over well." He winked at her because he didnt know much about costume, but he did know her legs were one of her best features.-
Covet: "I was planning on that much at the very least. Plus it will be summer so I'm going to want something that's going to keep me a little cool."
Alexithymiaa: "I think regardless of the season, you're going to be hot on stage. All the lights and the dancing and the moving around and singing... it's a lot. Even in the dead of winter, you'd be sweating."-
Covet: "Mhhm. But more so in the summer." She said with a laugh. "Maybe I'll get lucky and there will be a thunderstorm. "
Alexithymiaa: "I think you might be cursing yourself, depending on the venue. Pretty sure they pack up ourdoor type of places if it rains or anything. That kind of equipment doesn't do so well with the water thing. It's not these newage phones." He said with a grin, remembering their electronic conversation at the pool.-
Covet: "They can't stop it if it rains in the middle of the concert." Kelsey said. "And I can dream, we'll just make sure to keep what we can out of the rain."
Alexithymiaa: "Eh... they kind of can. It can be a safety hazard and they don't really care about people being upset the concert is cancelled." He said with a shrug. "It's happened to me a few times that they made bands get off the stage because of the weather."-
Covet: "Okay fine.. a light spontaneous rain shower. " Kelsey said rolling her eyes and Brad continued to dash her dreams.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm just saying... you need to be prepared for if this sort of stuff happens. You don't want to be blind sided." He retorted, closing his computer and setting it down on the coffee table.-
Covet: "I know, I know." She said waiving a hand at him, "But I'm giong to do my best not to cancel a single show."
Alexithymiaa: "Well yeah obviously." He stood up and grabbed his computer to tuck into his backpack, zipping it up. "I feel like by the time you get back from this tour you're going to be like the cruise director of America."-
Covet: "Ooh, Cruise.. maybe we can go on one after the tour, before classes start back up." Kelsey said getting her things put into her bag so they could head out.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey I'd be down for that. Someplace sunny with nice beaches." He said as he swung the backpack up onto his back, heading out with her to head home.-
