Personality: Indecisive and constantly busy, the group finds it odd that she's able to read the messages so quickly. Granted, Kat does need her phone in order to live, but it's still shocking when she responds when they know she's extremely busy. Katherine, with her 1000 mph brain, is the type to always change what she's thinking. She's full of thoughts and opinions and always has the right thing to say - albeit, it takes time for her to say it.

She's a cares about grammar (sometimes) and one of the main reasons she types so slow is because she actually thinks about what she's going to text. Katherine is the type to easily get bored of the same old thing and often changes the group picture and chat name to fit her ever-changing need for originality.

She's intelligent and curious. Her curiosity leads her to taking on roles or trying out new things. This leads to her being extremely adventurous and is often the one to suggest dangerous and thrill-seeking activities for the group. She's surprisingly hyper and eccentric in the group chat, often the one to type in all caps or use American Internet slang, Tumblr speak, and an excessive amount of emojis. She also sends random things and videos that she finds hilarious.

Kat is a very motherly person. Growing up with two irresponsible brothers, she's learn to take control of a situation and care for other people's well-being. She can a bit overbearing and nosy at times, but she usually means well. She's the type to confront a problem immediately and the one the group goes to for advice. In the group chat, she's very attentive to each of the people active and talks to them equally. She's the best at multi-tasking. Kat is the one who usually plans the activities the group does. She's also very affectionate with everyone. She initiates a lot of skinship and takes to calling those close to her 'babe' or 'sweetie'. However, not everyone can be chill and nice every time. Katherine is the queen of roasts (after Ew, You) and uses a lot of profanity when she's worked up or excited. People are surprised to find that she curses a lot and she isn't afraid to cuss out someone in the group chat who's annoying her. Katherine can be condescending due to her ego being big and people can get easily annoyed when she starts reprimanding people for things that they don't know. She can be sarcastic, along with being a straight up bitch.

After midnight or 11 o'clock, Katherine starts to get very poetic and philosophical. Her and Namjoon often talk about stuff that no one really cares about and rant to each other about their problems. She doesn't trust a lot of people to talk about deep things. Sometimes, the stress gets to her and she doesn't respond for a few days, which makes everyone extremely worried for their admin. She was once silent for an hour and the others got so worried. Kat hides her stress and struggles with time to herself. Her hyper persona on the group chat is to mask that so as to not make them worry.

Background: Katherine was born in Louisiana to her Korean mother and father. She is the oldest and only girl out of three children and was ultimately responsible for her younger brothers. She was born in New Orleans while on a trip with her mother. Throughout most of her life, Katherine was raised in San Fernando Valley in California where her parents owned a known Korean restaurant.

After almost failing her classes and not being able to pass her sophomore year, Katherine was sent to live with her grandmother in Jeonju, North Jeolla, South Korea at the age of 14 years old. Immersed with the Korea culture, she asked her parents if she could live in Korea with her grandmother for three years and come back to California for college.

As a student in California, Katherine was often overshadowed by her intelligent peers. She was only good at soccer and the language arts, which she was made the team captain of her local team when she was 12 years old. She had a limited amount of friends in school and relied more on her electronics and the online world to get her opinions out. She was often left at home with her two younger brothers while her parents went to work and was basically responsible for them.

In Korea, Katherine decided to improve herself. She studied for days on end and got smarter. When she returned to the United States for a few months and attended summer school (at the request of her parents), people were surprised at how vastly she improved. The compliments sometimes gets to her head and she can be a little egotistical and condescending. However, it's just a way for her to relieve the stress that comes with being responsible.
