One off production - This is where one single product is designed and made to meet a specification to the clients standards.
Continuous flow - This is where there is a setup of machines which are working for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Products are always in required by the customers so there is a constant supply of them being produced.
Batch production -This is where different workstations are setup in order to make a batch of the product in different stages.
Mass production - This process is similar to continuous flow as many hundreds of products are made however, the process is not continued on for 24 hours each day and 7 days a week.
