“You know, when I first got here to this magical land of talking ponies, it was confusing and terrifying. I was alone, and afraid, but most of all I was sad I would never see my friends and family again. Day by day that slowly changed, and I found myself talking more and more with these mares and stallions. They were so nice, and I felt so at peace with them, they seemed pretty normal and I found myself thinking less and less of home, and seeing this one more like it. There were many differences sure, but the biggest was that each one had a talent and power I was unable to understand, Pegasi could fly and control the weather, Unicorns could perform magic, and Earth ponies were excellent farmers and some of the nicest things I ever met. As for me, I was so bland compared to them, I had no talents, no powers…or so I thought.”

>The door swings open as you and a light purple and pink mare come walking in laughing.
>”I can’t believe you actually did that!”
“Yeah well..the guy was a dick.”
>”Nobody’s ever stood up to that bouncer before, everyp0ny’s afraid of him.”
“I can see why, that motherfucker was huge!” You laugh sitting on the couch, “But that’s one of the good things about being me, most ponies are terrified of me and think I’m some badass fighter, so they often back down.”
>”Are you?”
“Hell no! That guy would have kicked my ass.” You chuckle as she laughs and rests her head on you,
>”Oh I haven’t laughed like that in a while.” She sighs “I’m glad we went out.”
“Glad you finally came around.”
>”I’m sorry, I just didn’t..you know.”
“Nah I understand, if a dog came up to me asking for a date, I’d probably turn her down, PROBABLY.” You say leaning as she laughs again
>”Stop that.” She says giving you a slight nudge, locking eyes, she gently kisses you on the lips as you get hard and nervous at the same time.
“I’ve..I’ve never done this before.” You comment placing your hands on her flank
>”Me neither.”
“Guess we’ll learn together right?”
>”Yeah.”
>She lied, because the next week, she just broke up with you in tears. Apparently she found a stallion so good; it was worth breaking up with you.
>At first you thought it was just bad luck, but then came along Butter Milk, and the same shit, have awkward sex once, and she breaks it off for the stallion of her dreams.

>After that it was just mare after mare, different towns, different cities, even different creatures. All left after that one night of passion, it took a while but you figured it out, turns out, you did have a power you can’t explain or understand, and it’s ruining your love life.

>Present Day
>Sitting at a park on Hearts and Hooves Day, you look out at all the lovey dovey ponies. Jealously has long since been overcome, now that you’re aware of this power.
>Why get upset over it anymore?
>”Sitting alone as always, huh Anon?” Rainbow Dash says from above as she lands next to you, “You know, even if it’s with just a friend, I don’t mind spending the day with ya.”
“Nah, no point.” You reply before looking out into the crowd, “Today is just another for me” You chuckle
>”All right.” She says getting up, “But don’t say I didn’t offer.” Getting airborne you call out to her
“Hey.” You say as she looks back “It doesn’t have to be the whole day, but you wanna grab some chow?” You ask as she smiles
>At the restaurant, Rainbow digs into her sandwich and gobbles up some fries, “You know, you really gottta get yourself out there, it’s been like what, 6 months since you had a marefriend?”
“5 actually.” You reply causally before biting down on your burger
>”I don’t know how you do it.” She says shaking her head, “I’d go stir crazy after that long without some kind of attention.” She yells while stretching her body out and sighing
“I guess.” You say looking down
>”Hey Anon, me and Soarin are going out this weekend, why don’t you come along?” She smiles over at you,
“You know I don’t like hanging out with your friends,”
>”What? You love hanging out with Twilight.”
“Your MALE friends, they’re too rowdy and noisy, I prefer calm and collected.”
>”Well sorry to hear that, but I LIKE my male friends, and I know that you and Soarin got into a little spat the last time, but he’s willing to bury the hatchet.”
“He finally admitted he’s wrong?” You groan
>”We’re dating, and he wants to be cool with ALL my friends.”

>With an irritated sigh, you look away rolling your eyes.
>”And there it is,” Rainbow says tossing her fry on the plate and laying her back onto the chair “Why can’t you two get along? Or better yet, why are YOU so stubborn as to not give him a chance?”
“I just don’t like the guy, we don’t get along.”
>”Like Cloud Dust?”
“Jerk.”
>”Aurora?”
“Snob.”
>”Spite Fire?”
“Pretty cool girl.” You nod as she gets airborne
>”Ya see?!” She snaps “You only have problems with my guy friends, what’s the deal?”
“You pick crappy guy friends; that’s not my fault, I have no problem with Big Mac, Braeburn, and Mr. Cake.”
>Rainbow calms down and descends onto her chair “Look, I’m gonna leave this Friday at 6, if you wanna go, meet up with me, if not, then whatever.” She says before getting up and walking away.
>Its Friday evening at the Train station in Ponyville, Rainbow waits patiently for Anonymous to show up. Looking over at the clock its 5:50.
>Deciding to wait, she sits at a bench and thinks about random thought and events that have gone on in the week. After what seems like an eternity the conductor pony calls out for the passengers to board.
>Looking around, Anonymous is nowhere in sight.
