Privacy Policy

Collection of Information:

NoVirusThanks and our Online Virus Scanner do not need a registration to be used/browsed/visited, we are not interested in your name and other personal information related to you.

We may log some information that can help us to make some statistics on the visitors that browse our site, such as IP Address, Browser, Operating System (for example Windows or Linux).

As far as we use this information, it is done anonymously, for example we can use your IP Address to create a statistic of how many visitors come from Italy, or we can create a statistic of how many users visited our website with a certain Browser (such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc).

1) respond to abuse of our service, for example, we can block certain IP Address from visit our site if we discover that the IP Address tried to damage the website/server;

We may store (temporarily) the files that you send in our online-virus-scanner and the files that you submitted can be shared with Anti-Malware and Security Companies that participate in our project generally if the file is detected by at least one Antivirus Software that is present in the list of the engines.

We cannot exercise control over the actions that these Anti-Malware Companies take. The files are not shared with entities that are outside the Antivirus/Security Industry.

If you do not want that your file will be shared or distributed because you think that can contain sensitive data or for other personal reasons, you can check the option
"Do not distribute the sample".

We cannot exercise control on what kind of files an user upload in our service or how an user utilize the Scan Web Address option.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website.
