- Gajin walked along the center carpet, red of hue and always alight with the fires and embers from the nearby magma pit. Were it not for the numerous enchantments upon the material it would have burned away long ago. Yet, here it was a burning walkway into the temple. Those who came would always be reminded from the very first footfall into the Temple that they stood within a realm of fire and heat. It was a place of Dragons, not mortal man.
- His gait took him to the edge of the lava pit turning back to face those who'd arrived for the Sermon. Mostly faithful seeking direction but he had hopes to see those genuinely interested in the faith. Softly glowing sienna hues looked across at those gathered before him. "You stand within a Temple of Garljing! Can you not feel the heat of that great primordial god? Can you not sense the divine magics that seep from the very walls of this grand temple!?"
- He didn't wait for an answer of those questions as he brought his fists together. "Of course you can! Because unlike the lowland faiths our god is alive! The Great Wyrm perches atop the Tarian like a King upon his throne and watches us below. Looks for those who embody the tenets and virtues he has passed down by work and actions! The Saga's tell of Exalted such as Seneca V. Shar! First Dragonlord of Theria and whose actions brought Garljing to our lands! Thorgil, primary founder of the Fireblooded faith and bringer to use of the primary tenets! Dun Task, Overlord of Theria whose machinations kept our great city strong and filled with strife more than enough for our foes for over a hundred years! Sythaeryn Vartuul, whose zealous dedication brought our foes to their knees and served as a bulwark against Therian stagnation!"
- He named off those deemed by time to be exalted in a quick slew of passionate speech. Not focusing on any one of them but rather glorifying all of those to come before. "These Exalts are not untouchable! One need only look to our own Dragonlord Varceal Vartuul, whose path has led to personal blessings from Garljing and the reclamation of the Dragonslaying sword Balmung!" As he spoke he'd wave a hand to the side. From the west wing two acolytes carried two mighty red scales. Each of which burning with a blazing heat. The sweat on their brow and small fires that licked the wooden palanquin they carried the artifacts upon.
- "Scales from Garljing's own coat! One of the gifts given unto us for our zealous piety. Each one a relic and piece of divinity! Though these are not the only ones, three have been utilized by our esteemed Dragonlady Duniya Vartuul for the resurrection of a Dragon egg! Which will allow us to bring a new divine to life!" There was a passionate zeal in his tone, a manic motioning of his hands as he added emphasis to the great works of their own temple. Truly in his eyes they were and had been doing Garljings own work. Then his gaze trailed back to those who'd arrived.
- "Now! Let us cover a faith that is alive and offers true guidance for your lives!" As he spoke he reached down to his hip, where a bundle of scrolls could be seen held in place by a basket. Pulling from them a scroll that radiated with raw power, whose runes scrolled across them hinted at knowledge long held close to the Dragons and lost to mortal men. "As brought to us by the Exalted Thorgil! Garljing's words had this to say upon good and evil! 'There is only Desire and Restraint. Selfishness...is seen as sin, but this is wrong. It is your kind's nature to want. The angels will tell you to be merciful, be good. Shackle and limit yourself, when a man is only as great as his ambition.' These words are the foundation of what it means to be a Dragon, what it means to reach your full potential!"
- As he spoke he'd rapidly shift through the scroll, speaking in a booming voice. "He also gave unto us a series of tenets to aid in your choices. Never outnumber your enemy! For to do so brings onto you the dishonor of cowardice! You must never shy from violence for you are a Dragon's faithful!" As he spoke he'd offer a vicious smile to the crowd that had gathered. "Find a passion, a want, a desire, a need that you would crush nations for and follow it!"
- As he thrust a fist outwards, turning it upwards he'd slowly uncurl his hand and as he did so a burning flame floated above his palm. "It is known that fire brought life to the world! As the Red God has spoken that same fire remains in the souls of all of us and the greater the stakes for which you scratch, and bite, and struggle for! <BIG>The brighter that flame will be!</big>" As the priest worked himself into a zealous passion over the words twin horns of ivory burst from his crown, as mighty ever expanding wings of emeralds spread from his back, a great saurian tail coming to wrap around his feet. The Dragonic heritage on full display for those present to witness.
- 19:10] The dragonlord would lead everyone to a seat, and then start what he needed to say. "Gajin - it is time that you join us on the seats of dragonlords… - You will be the fourth seat replacing Minerva.. during you sermon you can mention that you will be looking for someone to take your place as lore keeper."
- He would say while placing a hand on the desk. "You have been nominated by my self and duniya for this - and now it is rightfully yours.... however it comes with one condition... Duniya and I both thought it was best that we pay our respects to ryujin."
- With that being said he would place his hands behind his back. "We are enlisting the help of vesper to bring us to Helheim to take the fight to Ryujins own enemies... - and taking a relic.. if we can to be brought as payment for a new blessing for us - or a boon to help us sway the war in our favor."
- It was the only right response after all - they hunted down a phoenix and have been blessed by it - gaining numerus items to help them fight us.. so we would do the same once again.

- [19:19] The Drakanite's lips curled into a slight frown as he heard of the promotion. There was a nervous energy that settled into his frame as he looked across the table towards the elder Dragonlord.
- "I... Understand, I had hoped to claim this position through, well, challenging your for the title." Though his features were slightly downcast the words spoken were not bitter but filled with respect. After all Gajin had spent his life under the leadership of the Vartuul, what greater honor could he give but wish to best them in battle? To show that he was strong enough for the job by taking on that which he respected most.
- Letting out a sigh of slight regret the Herald's lips curled into a fierce grin. "Though, I'll prove that might in the battles to come. In honor of you brother I'll cleave our foes in twain. We need strength upon our council and I will bring what power I can to it." As he spoke he'd glance to the ceiling for a moment thinking.
- "Should I make mention of our raid into Helheim to the faithful? Such a glorious undertaking would be sure to invoke their passions?" It seems the newly minted Dragonlord was already thinking about how to best stir up his flock into a righteous action.

- [19:41] To start things of with the sermon? Gajin starts with words meant to encourage and raise the morale of the fellow fireblooded.
- And, as one can attest- It succeeds by all accounts, recounting their past successes, the names of past fireblooded who helped hone the faith to what it is today. Gajin's zealous, excited behavior is almost contagious, as Rune can feel his body perking up to it all, getting a bit more passionate.

Well, he was here now, he may as well see what it was all about. Plus, his great-great grandfather was the patriarch of the Fireblooded.
- Might as well learn about what he used to do.
- Though of course, he'd move over towards the back of the room, situating himself onto a bench, before his olive hues would drift over towards the Drakanite, Gajin.
- Then came the lesson, and by The Deep were there a lot of words. Olive hues drifted over towards Varceal, inspecting the sword on his back as best as he could, before his attention snapped over towards the scales being shown off.
- They were fascinating.
- As were the scrolls!
- From there, his attention would drift back over to Gajin, as he simply soaked in the man's knowledge of the Fireblooded Tenants. It was certainly interesting.
- Yet, he had no questions, comments, or concerns.
- He was content to simply observe.
- Though when Vesper shows up, the Task would motion for his mentor to come closer to him. Perhaps he has something to tell them?

- [19:50] It was time.
- Walking up the steps to Garljing's Temple, Ether watched as many had gathered around for the Sermon that was about to take place. It honestly made the young adult rather nervous for the whole lot to have gathered for Hide and himself. However, there was always a question in the back of his mind. Was the sermon the only thing taking place today?
- Upon entering the temple, once again Ether would feel a warm sensation flowing through his body. It was always a weird sensation that he had come to whenever he entered the doors of Garljing. That, and another presence that he couldn't quite comprehend.
- Ether stood aside many of his kin as he listened and watched Gajin attentively.
- Lessons about their god, ancestors, and lore came about. It was news to the one who barely knew about his own kind. It was marvelous. However, the truth of his kind wasn't the only thing that Gajin held for them. Two acolytes from the west wing came in to and held two mighty scales which burned with heat. Ether's eyes widened in reaction as he closely looked upon them before his eyes fell back upon Gajin.
- Ether was speechless, full of content as he continued to view what Gajin spoke. He couldn't get excited as Gajin's words filled him passion and pride.

- [19:52] Gajin's motivational words and phrases gave a strong boost to Hideaki's self-esteem, after he defended his honor despite losing. Hideaki remained crestfallen, but once Gajin finished his speech, he raised his head and held it steady. Her golden wings that had fallen back rose again, sprouting from a dead plant to make it bloom once more! The wings of the young Drakanite were firm on the top of his back, a golden color was shining brightly on Hideaki's body.
- He no longer felt pain from the broken jaw caused by Éadmond. He bravely armed himself and made use of his free hands that no longer carried his Mesu-no-ha. One hand on each side of his jaw that was out of place, made a strong pain reaction as soon as he tried to accommodate it. He groaned a little from the pain, but managed to reach the end of his home-made cure, which was to be useless at the end. The prodigy's jaw had been set in place because of the motivations! He didn't care about the pain hemight have been suffering while accommodating him. He tried to speak a little in response to Gajin's speech.
- "Tat juas fatastij!" The voice could be heard half cut off, the tongue was not in a good position even though his jaw was. It was difficult, if not impossible, to understand.
- Was that flame really inside Hideaki? No matter how small, he could be part of Fireblooded and fight for his city. What if he didn't have a flame inside himself? It could be the reason why he was abandoned by his parents.
- 'He is not a true Drakanite, he does not have the blood of fire!'
- The young Drakanite tried to recreate the scene, in his mind. But he knew it was not real, there could be a thousand explanations to which he could never answer, because he was never there to tell it.
- It was already a separate issue, now they were in the Fireblooded temple listening to Gajin's speech. He had to concentrate on that, even though his words might remind them of problems of his years ago. It was time to start a new life, a life where he would be independent and dependent on the protection of the inhabitants of Fireblooded. To one day rule the ranks of Fireblooded's army, and destroy Osrona for what they have done! That was the new life of the young Drakanite, who was not yet ready to do so, but would do so. But most important of all, it was to destroy the Docro mafia over Osrona.

- [20:05] "Now, I will offer you the wisdom I have gained from being anointed in Garljing's own flames! In finding within my own heart the fire of life and stoking it to a blazing inferno!" His brought his hands together once more, thumping knuckle upon knuckle as he spoke. "I have lived my life by three virtues the first of which is POWER it is the strength of your own body to make a change in the world around you! To best your rivals and foes who would see you cast down amidst the meek and insignificant!" As he said the words he waved his arms to the side. The Drakan's physique was a impressive enough, standing nearly seven feet, with layers of muscle brought about by hard labor. Almost the body of a common laborer as opposed to a trained warrior.
- "WISDOM your mind must be stoked to greater greater heights! Only through the acquisition of knowledge, skill, and ability may you stand tall even amongst your fellow dragons! Steal the wisdoms of others if you must either willing from advisors or coercively from your opponents! Learn from mistakes and forge ever onwards in your pursuits!" The Lorekeepers words boomed as he spoke his efforts in educating others and talents as an artificer long since self-evident. Such was his skills and talents that as he spoke he'd stride straight into the crowd of the faithful. To Hideaki, yes he'd heard the jumbled broken words and seen the Drakanite struggle with his jaw. It was easy to tell that he'd had it broken in a fight.
- Without a second of hesitation the Drakanite reached out and gripped Hideaki's jaw with both of his hands, scaled claws grazed the flesh as burst of heat spread from his hands. Hideak felt a searing pain as the Lorkeeper broke the rough fix he'd done for himself. Then simply re-adjusted the jaw. He could feel the bones underneath his skin shift and readjust. Reforged anew, stronger, and more capable of punishment. The Ivory drake's skills in healing on fully display as he manipulated the very bones of Hideaki. "Wisdom to heal your brothers. Wisdom to arm your sisters. Wisdom to shield your cousins. This is the second virtue, Hideaki."
- "Finally I speak of GREED the desire for ever greater things! It is from this source that your will shall be hardened and your ambitions stoked! Never settle for what you have always reach for the next step in your evolutions! Cast you eyes towards that which you yearn for and claim it!" As he roared his hands threw upwards, wings flashing out to coast shadows throughout the room as they obscured the light from the lava pit.
- There was a few moments where he did not speak. Letting the silence cut through the crowd like a knife. Then his words continued not with the same fanatical fervor but with a more grim tone. A stoicism that left little doubts he now spoke of themortal plane. "I have been risen to the title of Dragonlord. As such I will be seeking one who embodies what it means to be a Fireblooded to replace me." As he said the words his gaze swept out to the crowd perhaps gauging their reactions or interests. After all he was looking for one with the right will to take his place.
- "I also want for you all to train hard! We will be taking the fight to Helheim soon! Our righteous fires will light the shadowed realm of the first dragonslayer! We will break his minions and his domain asunder in our wraith! Then once the Osronans try to come up our mountain we will turn to them below and show them the same fury we offer unto to the Darklord minions!" Now that zealous fire was sparking back in his voice once more. His gaze shifted about the Acoyltes who'd arrived and in a booming voice he'd speak.
- "Whom is ready to be anointed in fire?! May those ready to accept their heritage as the Dragon's chosens step forward!" As he spoke there was a shift in intensity. As a deeper timbre echoed in his voice and a new wave of a magical heat radiated outwards.

- Mort sought just that, he needed it desperately. Power is needed for someone who stands for the weak. Power is needed to make impact. As his current self he lacks that, and without it there isn't much he can do. Mort Graves doesn't want to be insignificant. And as Gajin rants the young man is seen smiling clenching his fists awfully tight.
- Wisdom.
- Without knowledge power is useless. He doesn't know enough about himself or the world around him. There is no way to make change, and so Mort aims to grasp all he could. Often looking for interesting folks to speak with. Yet another thing said that brings great emotion to the Graves.
- Eyes hone in on Hideaki, as Gajin repairs him right before their eyes. This brought forth pangs in the young man's chest. It was something that Mort could only describe as beautiful. All he ever wishes to do is help others, while bringing glory to his kind.
- Greed.
- Or Ambition in Mort's case. While the young man wouldn't ever be greedy, he seeks to do the most with his life. To peak out, reaching the height of his potential whatever that may be. Even if it means his end.
- With Gajin speaking like this Mort would step forward without even thinking. His palms bleeding now as he'd clenched his fists too tight. He had the face of a mad man, smiling. There was a lot on his mind, no doubts. There was only a blaze, one deep within his heart that wouldn't snuff out. "You'll always have an able body in me, for as long as I live. Dragonlord Gajin."
- (Mort Graves)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:24] Hideaki's broken voice, the voice that prevented him from celebrating what was soon to come, was noticeable to the naked eye. Gajin had noticed it, the young Drakanite noticed the new Dragonlord approaching his presence, the broken entity inside, but still with hope and motivation outside, and a small part deep inside.
- He felt the Dragonlord's burning fire on his skin, he felt the pain in his jaw from the healing. This time he didn't moan, he was in pain, but he didn't groan. His golden wings were so powerful that they gave strong resistance to the young prodigy. He felt his ears tightening against his jaw, because his jaw was connected to his ears, causing him to lose a little bit of one of his fifth senses. He cured him, making him as good as new. Gajin improved Hideaki's jaw, he felt it resist more, with more strength and more defense, and he was definitely ready to take hundreds of hits without breaking his jaw once again!
- The promising young Drakanite heeded his Dragonlord's requests, but did not take a step. He took two steps forward. He wanted to show his confidence, how convinced he was to give his life on the battlefield in order to defend the inhabitants of Fireblooded and the honor of The Blood of Fire!
- "I, Hideaki, will lay down my life for our people and heed the requests of our divine five, and our Dragonlord!"
- He held his head high, and tears fell from his face. Why? For once in his life he had been accepted into something important, he was not turned away, he was not rejected. They accepted him even though he didn't come from someone important, from someone with influence in Fireblooded or another city. Hideaki was just a commoner with the desire to make a change in the city, in his army. He was fascinated by the idea that a commoner could be the next Dragonlord, and with a much more enormous background than the previous Dragonlords!
- He kept his arms at the back of his waist. They were a couple of tears, which gave a reddish hue to his eyes. Could it be that he was finally awakening The Blood of Fire?
- (Hideaki)

- [20:28] Ether couldn't help but smile. This was perhaps, the smartest choice that he's ever made before in his life. He couldn't help but feel empowered by Gajin's words. If anything, he felt as if it gave him something more than life had. It made him realize just what they truly were. Who they are and how they should live their lives. It was all very inspiring.
- POWER
- The strength of your own body to make changes in the world around. The power to best whomever dares to challenge you, rivals, foes, anyone who'd dare to interfere with what you do and believe.
- WISDOM
- The will to achieve greater heights with your smarts. Knowledge was the very thing that would make anyone stand above everyone else. It'd grant you the skill, knowledge, and the capability to place yourself above anyone else.
- And with that, Gajin swiftly managed to heal Hide's wound. Which to Ether's surprise, he couldn't help but stare in amazement as Gajin continued to inspire him.
- GREED
- The will to desire greater things for yourself. Greed is the source that will harden your will. It will heighten your ambitions and steel your drive.
- Ether waited for Gajin to finish before giving his Oath to the Dragon Lord.
- "For as long as I live Dragonlord Gajin, I will lay down my life and you shall always be able to rely upon me."
- (Ether)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] The three virtues Gajin lives upon? Power, Wisdom, and Greed? Rune took a moment of contemplation to see how well he fares for each.
- Power is the easiest, and most obvious one to estimate. The red-haired drakanite had grown strong over the years, able to even match certain leading figures in tenacity, if not by sheer force. His body has grown too, with powerful muscles hidden underneath his clothes.
- Still, that does not mean he's invincible. Far from it, in fact. He has a lot of room to grow, still. There are some people he can't quite defeat yet, meaning he'll have to either further develop his power? Or focus on the second virtue,
- Wisdom.
- Wisdom is the one he suspects to be lacking the most. No knowledge of how to heal, how to forge or how to craft. Best he can really do for others? Is cook, something he picked up from his mother.
- He is no mastermind, that's for certain. Best he can hope for, is that he'll prove to have enough wisdom to lead, should such a time come.
- Now, the third virtue, Greed? Ambition? That, he has in spades. Even the selfish one, such as living a grand life filled with all the luxuries he an get- Which, he is glad to know that is an aspect to be approved and acknowledged, rather than to try and hide it away to give the appearance of humility.
- He wants his status to grow, he wants to become known. To be respected by his comrades, and feared by his enemies.
- Which is why, when Gajin called forth for those ready to be anointed in fire? He took a single, decisive step forward, standing straight and at the ready.
- (Rune Daman)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:46] They all stood forwards, well all that actually worshipped the Dragons, Gajin's hands came together once more as he interlocked his fingers together. Inhaling deeply, his skin taking on a redish hue as flames began to alight along his frame. Little fires at the tips of his ivory horns, burning licks along his wings, his footprints bursting into flame. As he spoke a radiating power of the Red God burst forwards in a great fiery wave over the Heralds and Acolytes who'd arrived. All the while from his voice came words that echoed with power.
- "Kun'hin sil'ahst fin'sahqo rah'yolos! Kendov'do dovah'drun daar'unslaad yol'ko hin'sil ahrk'nok daar'wo kriist'wah hi!"
- As the words left his lips a burst of flames radiated across the room and engulfed those before him. Some would find the fires searing their flesh and leaving them stronger for it. The primordial flames in their hearts stoked. Others would find themselves unharmed the very fact of which proved strong magics were at play.
- In the following words as the blessing coursed over them the Dragonlord's words came quickly. Now in the common Essharan tongue as he translated the mighty sorcery he'd cast upon them.
- "Alight your souls in the red gods flames! Warriors of Dragons bring forth that eternal fire within your hearts and lay low those who stand against you!"
- Then his hands came to crash against his sides as he struggled to keep himself upright. A display of such power always came at a cost and he could feel his body burn with pain from the tax of calling upon Garljing's own flames. No doubt this was nearing the end of the lesson.

- [20:47] {Item} You picked up Rainbow Fish. Dropped by Mara..
- [20:56] She felt the heat of the fire engulf her little body, holding up her hands to look at them and not seeing any damage done to her. Yet there was a tingling feeling all over her, she looked to the dragon lord who blessed her with a determined expression. She didn't freak out or cry out in pain, there was no fear coming from the small dragoness. She just raised her staff into the air over her head, bringing it down to the floor in front of her. The flames around her seemingly being pulled in and absorbed by her body, accepting the blessing in earnest.
- (Mara)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:01] Huh...
- As his body was engulfed by flames he was only able to think. He had reached a new high, something like no other. His body is strong, this didn't hurt in fact he felt even stronger. That flame previously spoken of had begun to swell.
- This is Garljing's blessing?
- It was too much.
- Mort had reached his peak. He was unable to even formulate words, his expression said it all. A confident smirk, as he stares forward into the future. All he could see is victory ahead. Okay, I'm impressed...
- (Mort Graves)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:02] Loud words that the youth had no way of understanding echoed throughout the fortress, as he felt the very air around him become insufferably hot. His face winced, as his body attempted to acclimate itself to the heat, but hey, at least he wasn't cold anymore!
- So that was ideal.
- Then came the flames that seared his skin. Yet, despite the blistering heat, and pain he felt rush all across his body, he felt... More powerful. Stronger from it.
- It was quite perplexing!
- He had stated early he didn't wish to be blessed, but well, it seems like Gajin didn't care, and that in, and of itself was respectable, and thus he wouldn't complain. The Drakanite was free to do what he liked.
- Yet, the after effect of the lesson caught the teenager off-guard. The Drakanite seemed to be a bit worse for wear. Perhaps he should move to help them-
- Nah.
- He was far too selfish to ever actively go out of his way to aid a stranger, or well, someone he wasn't close to. Instead he opts to simply state.
- "Impressive, but-, are you okay?"
- (Thanatos Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] Rune watches as Gajin begins the ritual, fire coming out from parts of the drakanite's body. When the power of the Red God passed through them in a wave of fire, Rune could sense who it belonged to, having dealt with Garljing's own flames before.
- He felt the fire engulfing him, and yet? He wasn't burning. It was hot, but he was still fine. Instead of being burned, the flames ebb themselves into Rune, into his body and very essence- Empowering the drakanite.
- The flames tangle with Rune's very soul in a form of dance, invigorating Rune with newfound energies.
- "This is..." Rune spread his arms forwads, looking down as he feels the flames of Garljing soar through his body.
- "It's incredible! I have never felt like this before!"
- (Rune Daman)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:11] The young Drakanite could feel the burning fire on his skin, he had felt it repeatedly before. But this fire was different, it came from a blessing in a way that was much stronger and intolerable for Hideaki. He could bear the pain, with difficulty, but he did. After all, it was the last test to be able to overcome the scene, the blessing on the six people in the area.
- Subsequently, he heard the words in the language in which he could understand them, his previous thinking had completely collapsed. He tried not to think about it, he was currently in a test that he had to pass. Until he felt something more in him, during the blessing there was something that had changed him, both physically and mentally. Hideaki's absent flames woke up, and too much. Hideaki had been surrounded by a powerful fire, due to the blessing, but what no one believed was that it was nothing compared to the fanned flames of his heart. It was impressive, as if he had been absent for some strange reason of which Hideaki had no idea. As if all these years he had been gathering strength for Hideaki, gathering strength for something specific. He awakened that absent flame in his heart, and it began to grow stronger with every second that passed in the blessing. The small flame of fire ended up becoming such mountains of fire, within him. The blood of fire had returned to the boy, left him as new, as if a new stage was about to begin. His wings took on a strange shape. They were more alive than ever. Hideaki's red eyes disappeared, because all that energy had been concentrated in his heart and soul, greatly strengthening the young Drakanite's body. Was this a new stage for Hideaki? It was a new stage of success, but he also knew that suffering was coming.
- (Hideaki)
- 21:28] The Dragonlord waved a hand and the treasures of his and the temple were taken away. Back to their vaults were they would be well taken care of and protected. It was the proper way of things. Still he kept a strong front as he turned back to his disciples.
- He cast a side-long glance towards Thanatos' spot. Flashing a jagged tooth grin as he answered them. "Nothing in life is free, you must always pay a price. Especially to the gods." As he said the words he'd shift his gaze back towards the Fireblooded. Back to those who'd arrived for his sermon.
- His gaze trailed over the blessed Drakanites. They all had their souls stoke to a raging fire. It would be up to them to truly harness that flame into something amazing. He didn't know who all of them would survive the coming wars. He didn't know which virtue's they'd claim and seek to draw strength from.
- "Now, you are all free to depart. May the fires guide your paths!" As he said the words his hands came to clasp together behind his back. He would watch his fellow Firelbooded as they either departed or mill about. He would most likely be around for questions if they had them.
