So, on our first topic, we have NMS - codenamed "Oldman." Interestingly, the furthered use of the name "Oldman" doesn't come from Reddit - it comes from the Discord first and foremost. The source of the name comes from an incident in which NMS, the proprietor of the current and well known weapons tier list, had exposure. This exposure comes from someone posting the tier list on Reddit, before Reddit criticized it blindly.

Mind you this is only possible so long as someone from /dsg/ oh so conveniently leaked it. After this, it was established as a nickname that someone called "Oldman" was behind the list on the mysterious hacker 4chan and its Dark Souls general. Flash forward and the damn thing is being reviewed on YouTube by some stupid fuck, and when it's acknowledged he is stupid, he again refers to this mystical "Oldman."

Now this is where it gets disheartening. For some reason, unironic (due to lack of knowing better) use of the term "Oldman" because they actually go to Reddit and watch discussion of tier lists from it on YouTube. The other half is the Discord shitposting relentlessly, for somehow they got even worse and worse and worse.

Why? I can't say, because I'm not sure. It's just not right. Again, good job, on finding this stuff. I doubt anyone will. But if you do, there is more coming. Reference this in the thread, I'll make another then.
