※minami‘s family moved to tokyo when she was 8 so she could attend a prestigious private school in the city, but all minami really wanted to do was music. she rebelled against her family by going to the akb48 audition, but even though she passed she realized she was looking for something more serious as a career. her parents suggested she should learn korean to try to become a kpop idol, but they didn’t think she’d actually do it. by the age of 17, minami felt fluent enough in korean to audition online for several entertainment companies and received an offer to join cube soon after. her debut however, has been delayed 3 years, and minami is starting to lose faith that she’ll ever become an idol. she hopes to do well on project serenade to either impress the audience, or prove to her company she deserves to debut.
