- e2fsck: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open /dev/sdb2
- The superblock could not be read or does not describe a valid ext2/ext3/ext4
- filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2/ext3/ext4
- filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
- is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
- e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
- or
- e2fsck -b 32768 <device>
- /dev/sdb2 contains `DOS/MBR boot sector, code offset 0x52+2, sectors/cluster 8, Media descriptor 0xf8, sectors/track 63, heads 255, hidden sectors 2048, dos < 4.0 BootSector (0x80), FAT (1Y bit by descriptor); NTFS, sectors/track 63, sectors 524287999, $MFT start cluster 4, $MFTMirror start cluster 32767999, bytes/RecordSegment 2^(-1*246), clusters/index block 1, serial number 0562b59a85538814b' data
