Anime FAQ

Plenty of people enjoy the anime genre and everything that surrounds it. Waifus, husbandos, boobs, butts, epic fights, extremely and beyond poor animation... there's nothing to dislike about it. Since there are so many fans and my stream has been growing, I get the following question more and more:

Q: Do you like anime?

A: No.

I will now include an FAQ about anime for no apparent reason.

Q: Do you have anything against it?

A: No.

A: Yes.

I watched all of those shows. They are ordered from best to worst. Naruto is actually shit but I like 3 fights.
Clannad I only remember one thing about (but I watched it with Alba so it was really enjoyable, it's just that I was going through a lof ot shit during that period of time).
Clannad 2 same fucking thing. I also remember that the ending was massively bad.
Higurashis I watched when I used to like anime (which was during 1 month because an old crush of mine was a weeb). They're visually good, that's about it.
Sword Art Online has an interesting plot: being stuck in a video game and you may never leave until you finish it. The first season actually accomplishes this rather well. I tried Season 2, and it's just a toy and figurine maker (it sucks).
Mirai Nikki is very cringe. I only enjoyed it because Alba was next to me.
Both Kakeguruis are also appealing visually. The plot is in all honesty extremely bad.
Fractale I know I watched but I also know it's a pile of shit.

If Alba wants to watch another anime I will put it into this list. I could honestly watch 2 hippos fuck with Alba and I would enjoy it because everything is fun with her.

Q: What are the odds of you watching an anime I really, really, REALLY enjoyed?

A: They are the same as getting hit by a lightning and a car and dying in the process at the same time. The odds of getting hit by a lightning are the following:
Folk wisdom says the odds of a lightning strike are one in a million, but technically, it depends on how you run the numbers.

For example, the odds of being struck in your lifetime are actually 1 in 15,300, according to the most recent data from the National Weather Service.

The odds of being struck in a given year are closer to that one-in-a-million mark, though: 1 in 1,222,000. While lightning strikes seem to be no big deal in cartoons and kids’ movies, the reality is a little more shocking. Now let's consider the odds of getting hit by a car:

The Centers for Disease Control report that about 4,280 pedestrians die as the result of being struck by cars each year and another 70,000 pedestrians are injured as the result of being hit by a car. This is a total of 74,280 pedestrians struck by cars each year. According to the United States Census Bureau, the population of the United States is currently 318,882,070. When the population of the United States is divided by the number of pedestrians killed or injured each year, the result is one in 4,292. Odds increase, however, in high-traffic areas and areas in which there are a lot of pedestrians.

Now, if you consider that the odds of getting hit by a lightning without taking a lifetime into account (so let's just take a whole year, which is stretching it by a LOT) are 1/1,222,000, and that getting hit by a car and dying is 1/47,273, the odds for me to watch your favorite anime are 1/57,767,606,000. The only exception to this is Attack on Titan, which both Pokeguy and Stringflow told me to watch and they are friends of mine. Are you a friend of mine? You probably aren't since I have this tendency for loathing human beings.

Q: Isn't "Shiru" an anime name?

A: What the fuck is "an anime name"? A name that sounds somewhat Japanese? No, it's not. "Shiru" means something like "to meet someone", which was not part of my decision to begin with.

A: I am sure I do not hate it. Stop making assumptions.

Q: I hate anime and I express it in chat every 25 seconds because my self-esteem is so low that it's basically a negative number. Also I am a virgin in my 20's and I have never seen a woman before due to my insecurity. Am I cool or what?

A: You aren't. Also being a virgin in your 20's isn't a bad thing, you'll have your chance very soon if you are looking for it.
