Blue Baton Pass faq

What are you trying to do?
Beat Pokemon Blue as fast as possible, without using the same pokemon for any 2 major fights.

Why?
It's a fun run, and there's still some routing left to do in it, which makes it more fun.

What counts as a major fight then?
The 8 gym leaders, the elite 4, and the champion

What is the Best time?
2:11:32 by Me

Where can you save time?
Can save a minute before Mt. Moon fairly easily, and I missed 3 yoloballs, one on Sandshrew, 3 in Seafoam
There's also lots of time to be saved just from better execution.
My PB was also pre-IT unban, so I can save  over a minute between Moon and Dugtrio.

What is your goal?
Sub 2:08 seems like a good run, I'm really just running this because I have nothing else to run right now.

What pokemon are used in this run?
Squirtle is used until Brock, and is later taught surf.
Nidoran-m is used as the main battler from Brock until I reach Vermillion city, where he is replaced by...
Dugtrio, who is used to beat Misty, and all minor fights from SS Anne rival to Koga's gym
Sandshrew is used for cut/strength, and also for Surge
Pidgey/Spearow is used as a fly slave
Nidorina is used for Koga
Tentacool is used for Blaine
Vulpix is used for Erika
Articuno is used for Silph co., 2 fights in Viridian gym, Viridian rival and Lance
Dewgong is used for Sabrina
Golduck is used for Giovanni
Ponyta is used for Lorelei
Pinsir is used for Bruno
Tauros is used for Agatha
Kingler is used for Champion

How do you catch all these Pokemon?
All of these Pokemon except the fly slave are RNG manipped, to get good stats and a fast catch every time, 90% of the time

Why is x not a glitch, it looks like a glitch to me?
